DETROIT (WWJ) – The caption says simply: “This happened in Downtown Detroit last night.”
And then starts a video that shows about 25-40 men punching, kicking and brutally beating people on the streets of Greektown, one of Detroit’s most popular hotspots. In the video, one man is lying with his head over the curb appearing unconscious and very badly injured. He gets punched and kicked as the cell-phone filming crowd of young men shouts and laughs.
Quickly becoming known as the Greektown brawl — the Saturday night fight was caught on video that was posted to Facebook.
By the time the police in Detroit were alerted to what was happening it was already over, they said. Police Chief James Craig said the department is vigorously working to uncover who was involved in the “troubling” incident.
Eight perpetrators have been identified, he said. They had all parked at Greektown casino, one in a rental car.
“Our message is ‘We know who you are, we are going to get you and arrest you so do yourself a favor and turn yourself in,” Craig said during a Monday morning presser. “In a matter of hours, we will have your identification.”
The family of the man seen with his head on the curb told myfoxdetroit.com he was at the casino celebrating his birthday when he was attacked. He is recovering from a skull fracture and other injuries, they said.
It’s unknown what caused the melee or if the young men knew each other or if one group was randomly attacking strangers. “They left that young man for dead, this is a serious situation and we’re not taking it lightly,” Craig said, adding the incident might be gang-related.
This follows a stabbing incident in Detroit’s Rouge Park, where people posted video on Facebook but no one called police. Both incidents disturbed Craig especially for the fact people watched — and celebrated — without calling police.
“At a minimum, you call the police … If you can’t do that because you’re too busy doing Facebook live, maybe going forward we should look into charging people who spectate,” Craig said.
He later added: “As a society, what have we become?”
The Justice Department should swoop in there to investigate this as a hate crime. They would have the authority to compel social media companies to release everything they have to trace it back to the camera animal.

The part in all of this that I can not figure out is why we have not seen Death Squads take hold in our major urban areas? We most certainly have a large cadre of young men with urban warfare experience that could “vanish” clowns like these in a heartbeat. Why haven’t they appeared?
Seriously, if any of this were going on in S. America then you’d most certainly see such things by now.
No, not really. Truly independent, self-starting or “vigilante” death squads are practically unheard of. The overwhelming majority of death squads are either government agents (police or army) working with complete, though unofficial, government approval, or similar groups working at the behest of the CIA or the commie equivalent black-ops type group.
That’s not to say that the US couldn’t be the first place where such groups came into existence.

I would have expected a place called “Greektown” to have more whites in it.
You might also expect the oldest (founded 1701) and second-largest inland port city in the nation, founded by European settlers, to still have some European descendants.

Lived in metro Detroit all my life. 61 years. Grew up in a suburb on the Detroit border. Worked in Detroit as a kid. What a nightmare that was!!! Played ball in Detroit. Hockey too. Both parents grew up in Detroit. One grandmother lived in southwest Detroit (she had to be escorted by the National Guard during the riots and lived with us for a week) Another grandmother lived in Highland Park, a city within Detroit. I work less than a mile from Detroit city limits. I know about Detroit. Don’t ever, ever, ever let any one fool you into thinking any part of Detroit is safe, because it isn’t!! I hear people say that the downtown area is safe. It isn’t. I hear people rave about Greektown and how safe it is. It isn’t. The Riverfront? No way safe! You want to watch fireworks on the 4th of July? Go across the River to Windsor, Ontario. Make sure you use the tunnel, though, because the area by the Ambassador Bridge is very unsafe! You’re taking your life in your own hands just getting to those places. Then when you get there you’re still not safe. Belle Isle, an island located in the Detroit River, safe? Nope. It was a nice place…Back in the ’60’s. The airport? Yes, the airport area is a pretty decent place. However, the airport is in Romulus. Not Detroit. Detroit is a sewer. A wasteland. Everything you have heard about Detroit is true. Don’t go there!!

The problem is they don’t teach anything to their kids. This is the inevitable result of too many children being raised by single moms without a strong male influence. All across America, but especially with blacks, the state has taken to place of the father and bread winner. They roam the streets, unsupervised, and grow up doing whatever the fuck they want. Once of the few things I got out of a long ago psychology class in college is that the number one factor that determines whether or not a child develops a sense of empathy for others early in life is the influence of a father or father figure. This must be done early, and the presence must be more or less constant. Once the child is out of the very formative years, only 6-8 years old, it is typically too late.

I grew up in Detroit, and personally witnessed the destruction of a once-great city. There are a number of reasons for Detroit’s decline that have never been explored or discussed.
1. “Blockbusting” by greedy real estate agents. Real estate agents would send out postcards with the following: “A new family is moving into your neighborhood. If you wish to sell your house, please call me at xxx-xxxx”. A “new family” was a euphemism for black families, and was used to “encourage” whites to sell their homes.
2. Federal HUD (Housing and Urban Development) speculators and real estate hustlers conspired to buy up” and raze the best houses on every block, in certain sections of the city. Quite often, “shacks” were left standing while decent housing was purchased by HUD and razed. This was done purposely to depress property values, to make it easier for speculators to purchase properties at “bargain basement” prices.
I realize that items 1 and 2 counteract each other and are at cross purposes, but they were a reality in 1960s Detroit.
3. The 1967 riots did much to push whites out of Detroit. A little-known aspect of the Detroit riots was the application of spray-painted words on the exteriors of black-owned businesses. The words “soul brother” was spray-painted on businesses owned by blacks so that the “angels of death” (actually rioters) would spare them from destruction. Whole business districts around the city were destroyed, never to regain their former selves.
4. The election of Coleman Alexander Young, Detroit’s first black mayor, who was overtly racist to Detroit’s white citizens while “getting along just fine” with the “movers and shakers” (big business people) of the day (as long as the campaign donations kept coming in)….Coleman Young HATED whites with a passion…
5. The abolition of the STRESS (Stop The Robberies, Enjoy Safe Streets). This anti-criminal program was put in by mayor Young’s predecessor and was quite successful in “cleaning up the streets” of criminals. In this program, police officers would disguise themselves as vulnerable old people and walk through neighborhoods as “decoys”. Predatory criminals would attempt to rob these elderly citizens and quite often, were dispatched to “the great hereafter”. One of Young’s campaign promises was the abolition of the STRESS program as too many of “his people” were being eliminated. Upon the election of Young, the program was disbanded.
These are 5 reasons for this once-great city’s demise.

in 1973 and electing Coleman Young instead. Even as a 17 year old, I knew this Young guy was a bad person. A real racist. Terrible, terrible mistake. IMHO it was the election of Young, even more so than the riots, and meddling from the Feds, that caused Detroit to nosedive, and never look back, to become the city it is today. They keep this up and the time will come when anything black will be a target of opportunity. I simply don’t understand the negro mindset(if they even have one). A person is laying on the ground, obviously unconscious, yet the ferals continue to kick and punch the poor soul. The only outcome is death or permanent brain damage. Which only reinforces my opening statement.
My nephew is a lawyer in a rural part of NC, and have many of these jigaboos for clients. He says they have no idea of any future possible consequences for their actions, and should never ever be trusted not to do such inhuman actions at any moment. In my sixty-one years I have had to draw a firearm, 357 magnum, three times with once even firing to hold these types at bay. Fuck them.
Y’know, the Republicans are quick to point out that our most troubled cities have been run by Democrats for decades. But honestly, if they elected Republican leadership, I can’t imagine how they could turn these cities around, they’re so far in the crapper.

In the past, if you wanted to eat, you worked (or relied on charity). In order to find work, you had to have manners, you had to be able to talk to and get along with others. Now, these people, especially the men, have nothing to do all day since they don’t have to work. They get into drugs for money and then the turf wars and violence starts. And because they don’t have to work and see others really outside of their own area, they know they don’t have to pay attention in school and education is no longer needed, and they can drop out any time. The young women get pregnant to earn more money from “Uncle” and you have the ignorant, uncaring young raising more ignorant, uncaring young.
What they should do is halt all welfare within 18 years. Starting this year, welfare should be reduced, and it should continue to be reduced every year after that, until it equals zero on the 18th year. So kids born this year would know there’s no free ride in the future.
How about making it 18 months instead of 18 years? It could be reduced every month until it equals zero. I’m in kind of a hurry here because I’m old and I might not be here 18 years from now. Besides, Congress can be counted on to debate the issue for several years before passing any such legislation.
I guess they don’t teach public school Blacks what happened to the American Indians and why.
