It’s a true measure of just how morally bankrupt this nation is that these ‘news’ outlets loudly proclaim objectivity with a straight face before millions. How is it that decent Americans by the millions tolerate these shameless fucking bold faced liars in the press and in politics when they would not do so with any one else in any other circumstance? Why the double standard? I do admit that it drives me crazy. Not coincidentally I stopped believing a single word from the press when I stopped voting. Every cent paid to these outlets, like every vote cast, perpetuates the farce and our demise.

Hollywood does it too. Willing suspension of disbelief means that we overlook shitty actors that couldn’t even make it on television. We used to have a B actor in office, now we have a shitty D-lister in office tweeting for $400,000 a year. Oh wait, he gets $1 plus all the perks of office, got it. We shoulda picked out own cotton.
