From my perspective, the light is flickering.

48 years ago there was a spaceship at the moon that temporarily blocked the rays–give it a couple of days and it’ll be ok–
Jung assumes that there is a purpose for human existence, but he doesn’t seem to know what it really is? He assumes it is to bring enlightenment into the world. In a way that is true. Where did the idea of enlightening the world, come from? Does it assume a higher intelligence?
I wonder why we put so much store in what philosophers have to say? What makes their opinions so great?
I have the right to my opinion as much as Jung, as you, or anyone else. What makes their opinions any better? Opinions are like rectums. Everyone has one, and they all stink.
After much learning, in my many years on this Earth, I believe that we are alive for God’s purpose. That purpose, as best I have determined, is to increase His family size. We are called the “children of God”. Jesus Christ is called our older brother, “the first born of many”. If we agree with God, then we will be adopted into the family of God.
We are created mortal so that if we do not agree with the way God says is the right way to live, we will not be adopted. We are given the choice of how we want to live.(for eternity)
Mankind is proving that God’s way is right. Live righteously, and you prove it is right. God’s way brings peace. Live unrighteously, and you still prove God is right. Strife is the result.
Even if you don’t believe in God, you can know the right way to live, just by the observing the results of how humans have lived. Boil it down to the most basic rules for right living and you come up with; Thou shalt not steal, lie, murder, commit adultery, dishonor your parents, and don’t covet. But if you did all that you are inevitably led to the other commandments, and to God.
