That is a really amazing picture Admin! Too bad the Global Warming Zealots can’t appreciate beauty, and will use it to imply we’ve never had multiple hurricanes in the ocean at one time (happens often enough, especially in active years)

Here’s a trick I use. After I take the photos, I download them onto my computer and then I send them to myself in an e-mail attachment and then store that e-mail in a folder for retrieval. This is in addition to storing on a memory stick. Stick get lost. I’ve had photos stored in e-mails for years.

Here’s another trick———> MOVE!

Trust me! It works! I haven’t had a single problem with hurricanes since I moved out of hurricane country. An occasional ice storm or windstorm is much easier to deal with than a hurricane.

Which imbecile can confuse climate prediction and weather forecasting?

Surprised you dropped by today Alex. NOT!

Maybe stay long enough this time to explain to the unwashed your vast Ukie knowledge of all things climate. Will you though? I’m doubtful seeing as last time you ran away like a little bitch when a long time TBP’er, TPC I think, called you on your credentials when they produced some of their own.

You have all sorts of time to talk down your nose to the proles. Kinda a sad really, but hardly suprising. It is an oft used tactic by the carbon haters when dealing with skeptics.

Don’t listen to RiNS. He is an Odin worshipper and he believes global warming can be resolved by bringing back the Ice Monsters.

Your post above is spot on. As are all your posts. You have been greatly missed. Many of us here love you.

In All Gore’s Name.

Geeze this is the thanks I get for all my praying I have done to the Great and Merciless Odin. He banishes the Ice Giants by warming the earth and y’all heathens can’t even say Thanks¡

Ingrates!

You all owe Odin, big time!

Lol, evidently, it’s the Goracle and his Koolaid drinkers that cant tell the difference between weather and climate… anytime a hurricane happens, they come trotting-out the same old BS about “See! See! OMG, hurricanes are getting worse!!!” (but they arent)

It is all to ‘save the children’ so accuracy does not matter, the effort (and funding) is what is important.

When I was a squad leader in the infantry I had a young private that fell in love with a stripper. I tried to counsel him out of it, but his love for her was more persuasive than my facts and logic. I won’t tell you how it worked out, but I’m pretty sure that if he is still alive, he lives in Miami.

Human beings have the ability to reason their way through life- to make sound choices based on the best possible outcomes or to throw caution to the wind and live lives that are exciting and filled with risk, to settle where the Sun shines all year round, to spend a million dollars for a one room efficiency so they can enjoy the vibrant life of the cosmopolitan, like the grasshopper in that old fable, while other people produce their food and energy for them and live boring lives far away from the bright lights and crashing surf, high above the sea level.

Miami now seems to be ‘out of the cone’. Not only did the NHC pick the wrong city they got the wrong OCEAN! Those inaccurate early forecasts not only caused hundreds of thousands to flee they sent them into harms way! Better to stay silent and be thought a fool…

Won’t it be something if Houston or Nawlins get’s another dose? Economically it would be better for Houston to take another hit but I doubt they’d agree.

Choosing to live in a low flat land near sea level is a prudent risk for some and pure foolish stupidity for most . Lost everything I own 3 times . Never have I ever heard of someone so mistreated by fate . I suggest you take a few moments of silent prayer and meditation . TS
As for climate change and weather patterns all are subject to change without notice !
Fall will be cool and maybe wet , winter will be cold and could be snow covered at times or wet , Spring will be wet at times while gradually warming up , Summer will be hot and dry at times excluding when there are rain and possible thunder showers . Worry well !
