No, this isn’t California you bozos. The picture was taken at the Beacon Rock Golf Course in Washington State across the Columbia River from the Eagle Creek fire in Oregon.
And for those of you unfamiliar with the Pacific Northwest, while it continually rains for 9 months a year in Portland and Seattle, the rain completely stops for about three months every summer and this is sometimes the result.
BTW, this massive fire in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area was caused by some dumbshit 15-year old throwing fireworks off a cliff along a forest trail.

Perhaps true, but let’s face it. You could have taken the exact same picture in SoCal because fires happen all the time and nobody cares unless they block a freeway for a short while. Then we all get really pissed because we have to wait few minutes for the fire to burn out over the road. I have literally driven through flames on the 118 Freeway just to get to work.
