Thanks, I needed that. Went to the doctor with the SO today, he got a biopsy. Doc said the most common diagnosis when he sees this on the scans is squamous cell carcinoma, but we won’t know for sure till Tuesday.
Hang in there, KaD. I’ve been through a few treatment cycles with loved ones. The waiting is definitely the worst part. Stay off the medical internet–Dr. Google is not your friend.
If confirmed, please consider going the natural medicine route. Please read about the dangers of chemotherapy and radiation.

Good luck KaD.. Just don’t give it up or quit. I started out with adult onset leukemia in 1994 – wasn’t diagnosed until 2001. All that happened was a constant flow of MD furnished narcotics to dull the pain until I was good and hooked. After 6 weeks in a behavior lockup to dry out, they finally diagnosed the problem. I’ve had radiation off and on for 9 years and then the cancer morphed into lymphoma. Been on multi-number cycles of chemo ever since.

Love that last one. Reminds me of my honeymoon in Costa Rica. We were speeding along the Pan American highway toward Guanacaste. I wasn’t paying that much attention to the signs but my wife asked “What does Peligro mean?”.
