When the Progtard leaders declare those shitheads conservative, it allows them to call the constitutionalist conservatives “far right”, “out of the mainstream of conservative thought” and Deplorables and all the rest.
Those three are now the equivalent of MSM “house negroes.”

George Will is another out-of-touch establishment “conservative”.

There is a greater need for the 2nd Amendment than anytime in the past 100 years. Among other features, the rights inherent in the Amendment allow citizenry to prevent a corrupt government from forcibly forming a complete dictatorship.

George Will must know that the repeal of an Amendment is a difficult process.

Vote against any Republican who agrees with him.

I say bring it all out into the open.

Bill Buppert’s latest was posted on WRSA, and I think has a lot of merit.

Kill the Second Amendment: Let’s Get This Party Started! by Bill Buppert

By bringing the 2nd Article of the BOR out into the line of fire, you’d flush out Cuckservatives and privateers like Whine Lippyair of the NRA, and show them for the carnival barkers they are.

As an added bonus, your list would get a lot more refined by looking at the local supporters of repeal.

Will’s a junior g-man parasite. He’s lived virtually his entire life in dc and is a ‘conservative’ in the same sense David Brooks or McShit is-more a smoke screen than a platform. The very term has become a cuss word.

What’s not appreciated enough is the driving force behind the words of the 2nd amendment: Fuck with us enough gov’t and we will shoot you. “Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God”.

Will is your typical R&D Unipart Progressive statist. Mr. Will the purpose of the second amendment is to protect (We The People) from a Government that has overstepped it`s Constitutional bounds and has forgotten who they serve, it`s a check against tyranny! The first thing all Totalitarian regimes do is disarm the people, it makes it a lot easier to leed them to slaughter, just ask Hitler, Stalin and Mao! I hope someone forwards this to you clueless asshole!!

I wonder how many of the people advocating repeal of the 2nd actually understand what is involved in amending the Constitution?

They all seem to think, from the way they talk, it’s just a simple matter of passing some legislation.

FWIW, since the Bill of Rights was a contingent on the original ratification I’m not sure any of them could be removed without nullifying the whole Constitution.

In any event, I rather think the resulting casualty count might make the move undesirable after the fact.

Dear Mr. George Will,

You are 100% correct.

Two hundred years ago the 2nd amendment protected us from external tyranny.

No external tyranny exists today. (North Korea, Israel, mooslim-fuks, etc. do not count)

And, certainly internal tyranny is nonexistent!

Sincerely,
DHS, NSA, CIA, FBI, and other beloved Deep State members

PS: We’re here to protect the shit out of you. You don’t need no stinkin’ guns.

I think the founding fathers added the second amendment to protect us from our own Government should it become so big that We The People have lost control of it, think about it, if Government turns on us what power do we have over them? Do you honestly think our votes matter anymore? The outcome after the election is becoming more and more predictable, we are not in charge anymore I believe.

George Will, Bill Kristol, Stephen Hays, and the rest of the RINO never Trumpers they continue to air, are the reasons I stopped watching Fox News. (I think Bret Baier does a good job, but refuse to watch). They were wrong throughout 2016, Fox brought back Kristol after he left ABC, why would I watch a program or network where the commentators were 100% biased and wrong. Fox must think we are idiots.

Will is correct in a twisted sense. 200 years ago, long guns put the people on par with a tyrant’s army. Today, we the people are not permitted to have weapons anywhere near what an army possessess. The laws need to be changed so that we may possess Stingers, artillery and anti-tank weapons. The tyrant and his army need to think twice before opposing freedom loving, peaceful Americans.

Funny, he claims to be a reader.

Maybe a little James Madison to school the smarmy little runt.

“… Extravagant as the supposition is, let it however be made. Let a regular army, fully equal to the resources of the country, be formed; and let it be entirely at the devotion of the federal government; still it would not be going too far to say, that the State governments, with the people on their side, would be able to repel the danger. The highest number to which, according to the best computation, a standing army can be carried in any country, does not exceed one hundredth part of the whole number of souls; or one twenty-fifth part of the number able to bear arms. This proportion would not yield, in the United States, an army of more than twenty-five or thirty thousand men. To these would be opposed a militia amounting to near half a million of citizens with arms in their hands, officered by men chosen from among themselves, fighting for their common liberties, and united and conducted by governments possessing their affections and confidence. It may well be doubted, whether a militia thus circumstanced could ever be conquered by such a proportion of regular troops. Those who are best acquainted with the last successful resistance of this country against the British arms, will be most inclined to deny the possibility of it. Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of. Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. And it is not certain, that with this aid alone they would not be able to shake off their yokes. But were the people to possess the additional advantages of local governments chosen by themselves, who could collect the national will and direct the national force, and of officers appointed out of the militia, by these governments, and attached both to them and to the militia, it may be affirmed with the greatest assurance, that the throne of every tyranny in Europe would be speedily overturned in spite of the legions which surround it.”

I’ll bet he’d spend the better part of the next month trying to tell people that militias are really FedGov employees.

It lays it out in detail that guns in the hands of citizens are the best defense against an out of control government, period. No hunting, target shooting, skeet or clays mentioned, just tyrannical bureaucrats and their effete lickspittles penning logical fallacies for the over 70 set.

sorry to rant but I sent two beautiful steers to slaughter yesterday, our sustenance for the next six months. This morning I awoke to the news that the slaughterhouse burned to the ground last night.

Here’s the thing- we have insurance on the farm and had the cattle died in a fire on property they likely would have been covered. Still waiting on a call back from the insurance company but my guess would be “no”. I have no idea yet if the family that owns the place had that kind of coverage, but since the office burned too, there’s no proof of the weight, ownership, etc. No matter how it turns out I lost two beautiful and healthy animals that would have provided us with a lot of nourishment and which cannot be replaced in kind no matter how much we get, which will likely be a fraction of the actual value.

But that’s life. You just have to roll with it.
