My wife stayed an extra day in Wildwood after we got an unexpected 75 degree weekend at the shore. One last night at the Shamrock with Billy Jack. She was feeling energetic yesterday, so she decided to watch the sunrise on the boardwalk and the sunset on the beach. While I was trapped in my office at work, she was sending me these pictures.

Testing the Ferris Wheel on the Boardwalk

Seagulls
Sunset over the Atlantic
Jim, great pics. I live right up the road and it almost fools you in to believing they can turn it all around in wildwood. She should have snapped some pics of the Baker Ave Boys hanging out on low rider bikes on Pacific Ave dealing. Mrs. Quinn missed that opportunity as she was taking pics before 2pm when the pajama army starts to deploy en masse. Great town bad leadership!
I walk each morning M-F with a nice older (75)
lady and on the half mile home I sometimes snap pictures.
This is my little piece of the woods.
From the back..
Log doghouse is nice feature. [img[/img]
Halfway up our drive are four giant pines.

And this is the tree house on our place which would make a charming alternative to Wildwood as a vacay get away.lol… An entire family of Mennonite carpenters lived in the 20 by 30 foot house on stilts for 3 months.

My wild wood is full of deer and turkey right now.
Looks peaceful Mags. Which state are you in?
That is beautiful, Maggie.
This oak tree is enormous. I suspect it is 200+ years. It is the View from the tree house where NOPIS (no other people in sight) is the main attraction.

I do love the beach at sunrise but all those other people ruin it.
My notifications on my phone tell me a package is in Kulpsville, Pa., waiting for pickup. Hopefully, nothing escaped.
Cold front with wind blowing through Wildwood. Photographer having bad hair day.
That snapshot of the lonely looking “red, white and blue” pinwheel in front of the ominous dark clouds seems like a perfect metaphor for the whole country right now. You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone…
Some good images here by Avalon. I have been taking photos for over 60 years and I must say that the Ferris wheel photo is absolutely First Class. Composition, color and mood are perfect. One of the best photos I have seen this year and I have seen thousands. Avalon, you have a good eye. Keep it up. You’ve got it.
Aww thanks Gryffin?
Nice photos, Avalon.
Those are so great photos. The sunset photos are very calming and beautiful.
Vixen it was so beautiful. I felt really lucky to be there to see it.
