Trump: “Why Are We Having All These People From Shithole Countries Come Here?”

While a bipartisan senate group had reportedly reached an “agreement in principle” on DACA, as well as packaging immigration reform in order to avoid a government shutdown next Friday, things took another turn for the bizarre, when the WaPo reported that Trump “grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries” as part of the proposed deal.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump burst out, referring to African countries and Haiti. Instead, he suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway.

The comments left lawmakers “taken aback.”

Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) and Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) proposed cutting the visa lottery program by 50 percent and prioritizing countries already in the system, a White House official said.

As reported earlier, the administration announced this week that it was removing the protection for over 200,000 citizens from El Salvador; meanwhile, as part of a potential bipartisan deal, lawmakers discussed restoring protections for countries that have been removed from the temporary protected status program while adding $1.5 billion for a border wall and making changes to the visa lottery system.

And, as so often happens, what was until noon a tentative deal, exploded in the afternoon when Trump changed his mind:

Trump had seemed amenable to a deal earlier in the day during phone calls, aides said, but shifted his position in the meeting and did not seem interested.

As a result, what was until just hours ago a done deal, is now in tatters.

Graham and Durbin thought they would be meeting with Trump alone and were surprised to find immigration hard-liners such as Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) at the meeting. The meeting was impromptu and came after phone calls Thursday morning, Capitol Hill aides said.

After the meeting, Marc Short, Trump’s legislative aide, said the White House was nowhere near a bipartisan deal on immigration.

“We still think we can get there,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said at the daily White House news briefing.

Or maybe not, in which case a government shutdown may be inevitable.

Oh, and as for the White House, it refused to deny that Trump said it.

And yes, for those wondering, “shithole” is now trending

Once again, how do you KNOW that he said it? You’re being told that he did by a reporter who was told by a guy who wishes to remain anonymous, who said that he/she/it heard it from someone who was there. Allegedly.

That’s not exactly a slam dunk, evidence-wise.

Trump asked the question: “Whey are we bringing all these people from shithole countries” That’s a good question – I have not heard one politician say why they want this. It’s without logic.

My theory is that Catholic / Lutheran charities want money – there is a lot of money in resettling ignorant / uneducated / unmannered shithole dwellers. They need a lot of help. Help = more $$ for these charities.

White people from Europe – Norway / England / Germany – they need no help, thus no $$.

Follow the money.

Look, you don’t go around denying things you haven’t said, that’s ludicrous. All you’d ever do is deny shit. Some unknown somebody says you said something and now you’re under some kind of obligation to go on the record to deny it?

“…Trump said, according to these people…”

What people are those? I can’t seem to find anyone willing to go on the record.

Like I said two days ago, check-mate.

I have zero idea how he is able to push their buttons the way he does, but they seem completely incapable of not rising to the bait. Every. Damn. Time.

Two things here- Let’s just say that he did say it, he didn’t say it when everyone was sitting around the table in front of the press and the Dems were making their play for 75 million brand new voters to be given amnesty at the expense of the rest of the taxpaying American citizens who follow the rules. No, he said it behind closed doors, where no one got it on tape and he didn’t say it to anyone with the balls to come forward and challenge him on it, he picked some low level, scuttling peon who predictably ran to the press and gave an “off the record” account that will never be verified.

So either he said it- in which case we know what the future of immigration looks like, at least for the next seven years- or he didn’t in which case all the MSM has done is shown themselves for the Fake News writers they are and they wind up having to take that back too. And as a bonus the term “shithole countries” is now firmly embedded in the minds of psychotic progs, triggering them every time they hear the word ‘immigrant’ AND it sends a message to his base.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/06/23/opinion/trumps-lies.html

If Trump has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, it may be unfair to call hm a liar. Because someone with that disorder cannot grasp the concept of “truth”. It would be like calling a schizophrenia a liar because his delusions & hallucinations don’t exist in the real world. Trump is only aware of what benefits him at the moment. When it suits his needs, he will flip and refer to these “shithole countries” as “wonderful places with great people”.

And “It appears to be a completely unified resistance to him at virtually every level across the entire spectrum of The Cathedral”????

The pacing and leading that Trump has done here is amazing!

HSF. Truer words have not been spoken. What I find most hilarious is he planned this all along. He gathered everyone together just the other day. Looked like the Great Statesmen for which the Republican Establishment yearns. Kept the cameras around for an hour or so just to get pictures of all the snakes in action. Fuck, even Anna Navarro fell for it. Called him measured in tone and having the right pitch. Then the cameras leave and the shitty deals start.

The Dems and Cuck Republicans don’t want a wall.
Trump and base do.
Cameras are rolled out and people smile.
There are promises that a wall gets built.
Some day.
Updates are given that deal is close.

Everybody excited, including Nararro, that Trump is going to sign whatever comes to his desk. Those CONgress critters were being dishonest double dealers. A fella can’t blame them for trying. They are only doing what comes naturally.

Reagan fell for the bait and switch in 86.
Everyone thought Trump was going to as well.
Everyone should know by now what the swamp wants.

They don’t want reform.
They want voters that will fog a mirror.
They want a permanent underclass to work for peanuts.
They want to enrich the industries that fund their campaigns and “special interests”

The Trump derangement syndrome subsides and without warning Trump goes nuclear.
He has won!
This will trend for months and years…..

So now we’re back to “HE’S CRAAAAAAZY!” from the exact same people who two days ago were talking about what a great diplomat he was, how gracious and accommodating and today HEEE’S CRAAAAZY!!!!

So what exactly does that say about their judgment? How can a guy be the type you can sit down with and have meaningful dialogue with on Tuesday and on Thursday he’s an insane mad man who wants to blow up the world? A couple of those events and your strained credibility becomes a political liability. You look unhinged, or hypocritical or worse, stupid. And that’s what’s happening, absent whatever motivations my exist under the surface for his end game. He just keeps making them look stupid, over an over without actually changing the way he operates. And because they really haven’t got a rational, reasonable or logical approach to any of the issues we face, only emotional ones, they can’t respond in any other way. They’re trapped by their own system, their own creation, their own rules. He’s not playing by those rules because he isn’t a politician, he’s hybrid businessman/showman who knows what he wants and how to get there by using the other guys weakness.

I tried to explain this before using the comedy analogy because it’s apt- getting a room full of strangers to laugh on command every fifteen to thirty seconds for an hour straight and end every show on applause at precisely the moment you want them to isn’t a gift or really even a talent, it’s a trick based on triggering a certain crowd response to specific cues. Once you’ve figured it out it isn’t a problem to get people to laugh at things they hold dear or laugh and then balk at the fact that they betrayed their own ‘beliefs’. That’s what he’s figured out how to do on a much more meaningful level. He’s playing them and they don’t even know that it’s happening. And the next thing you know the ball is that much further down the field.

It’s fascinating to watch.

Have you read “Rules for Radicals”?

RiNS
RiNS

January 12, 2018 10:37 am

irrelevant when

..it can be boiled down to this..

12 Rulez For Radicals

1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.“ Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.“ It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.“ Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.“ If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.“ There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.“ They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.“ Don’t become old news.

8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.“ Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.“ Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

10. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.“ Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

11. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.“ Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

12. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.“ Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

THE END!

Read thru that list Varmit. Looks to this bystander that Trump is using several of those kill shots just this week.

Alex Jones does the exact same thing.

Those two men are the threat they are, only because they are so effective…

Trump is not the one that leaked it to the media. If you are worried about your children being sullied by hearing salty language on TV, then blame whomever leaked it to the press. The President certainly did not use any foul or offensive language during the televised portion of the meeting.

Let that new party wander around in the wilderness for years while the “real” two parties set about getting the job done. Term Limits Now!

I have sat in many board meetings. The language in there often resembles a TBP shitstorm. If you said “shithole” nary an eyebrow would be raised. Except maybe they would think you some kind of pussy faggot (not that there is anything wrong with that) for not saying “motherfucking shithole” instead.

I keep my language clean around women and kids. But do you really think there are womenz and kidz that have not heard worse than “shithole”? You think the liberal asswipes would move to one of these shitholes that they (claim to) think is not a shithole?

Dems know shitholes – hell, a lot of the major dem run cities are shitholes: Baltimore, Philly, Detroit, Chicago, LA, etc etc etc. They can take their faux outrage and jam it up their shitholes.

So far, EVERYONE here has missed the main point regarding Trump’s strategy.

He just solidified the Norwegian-American vote for 2020.

And possibly most of the Odin worshippers as well.

I have seen your comments (and his) in the dashboard comments section.

I’m done commenting in that thread.

I’ve been here ten years, and only as of yesterday did I reveal Ms Freud is a breast cancer survivor, and her subsequent surgery. As you have rightfully noted, revealing personal info here can come at a price. There’s always one or two assholes who have no limits to their asshole-ishness. I should have kept my mouth shut.

The thing about Ms Freud is that she has a heart of solid gold. That’s not just me talking, but everyone who comes in contact with her. I hope like hell she never sees those horrible comments. It would hurt her deeply.

I appreciate that you have stood up for Ms. Freud. Truly.

But, perhaps it’s best to just let it be. karalan is truly and honestly the most despicable scum to ever have posted here.

And a coward. Had he said those things about Ms Freud to my face … especially that heinous “dog fucker” comment, I can tell you this with reasonable certainly, that I would have smashed in his face. You know I am not kidding.

But, I’ll never get the joy of that opportunity. He’s an internet POS, nothing more. Not worth my effort anymore to interact with him on any level. He crossed the line. There will NEVER be any smoking of peace pipe, no letting things go and just laughing it off …. not today, not tomorrow, not ever. I hate him like poison.

Stuck – I believe you. I mentioned on a thread that there are serious people in the world not to be fucked with. Karalan is the type who does not know it, but is highly likely to find out. We can only hope. His comments were despicable. Especially as they were out of the blue.

I have made some comments here I truly regret. But it was always heat ofthe moment stuff, and when pissed off I fight dirty. But I think I apologize every time.

I did not say it, but I hope it goes without saying – I hope Mrs Freud does fine. Youhave nothing to blame yourself over. You made the best of a potentially very bad situation, and took care of her. Well done.

It is OK to violate the Constitution you have sworn to uphold and work behind the scenes to undermine a duly elected President like Obama. It is OK for the Secretary of State to run a massive shakedown racket to fund the crooked Clinton Foundation like Hillary. It is OK for most of Congress to sellout the American people and their nation for personal benefit. It is OK for Bush, Clinton and Obama to wage undeclared wars around the planet in violation of the US Consititution and the Geneva Convention on War. It is OK for the Fake News media to undemine democracy by spouting propaganda and lies 24/7. It is OK for the Fed and fractional-reseve banks to operate a monetary, fianancial and banking system of plunder and theft. But for Trump to speak the truth on the wisedom of importing low-IQ parasites from the shit-holes of the world -people unable to build a modern civilization in their homelands – he is a horrible person. All I can say to the traitors, thieves, criminals and liars in the highest offices in the land….Go To Hell. If speaking the TRUTH is now a crime, then we are in big trouble. What Trump needs to do is speak truth to endemic lies more often and never, never try to appease traitors. I recommend a full frontal attack, take no prisoners and do not retreat one fraction of an inch.

My family has been here over 8 generations on my father’s side my great, great, great grandparents migrated here from Bruxelles, Brabant, Belgium, on my mother’s mother’s side of the family Surname Laviolette or LaViolette they were primarily citizens of Canada until just before the United States Civil War and started migrating to the United States in 1840, my great, great, great or possibly my great, great, great, great, grandfather since Seraphim was born on the 22nd of May 1795 and guess what no 1 within my family and that includes 5th cousins are billionaires.

It is a fact that the trash of the world are of the impression that they have the privilege of quick success after arriving in the United States.
