I suppose the younger folks here wouldn’t remember this, but there was a full-on assault in the US media to end apartheid in SA. There were boycotts, ads on TV, political opinion in regular shows, etc. Looking back on it now, I remember not knowing shit about it but believing all the propaganda at the time.
Before the Dutch arrived, the tallest structure in SA was constructed by termites. Once the last white has fled or been slaughtered, back to dust it shall return.
