Socialist countries are like faulty passenger ships or airplanes. The rate of a ship’s sinking depends on the size of the hole (deficit) and the size of the ship (GDP). It may stay afloat for years while idiots rearrange the deck chairs but then suddenly it lists over and disappears. The dead load on the plane determines it’s flight duration which seems normal even a millisecond before the fireball. All passengers and crew need to be advised that their fate is determined the moment they choose to patronize a Socialist System.

I understand ‘ol fashion greed/corruption like lobbyists who bribe the government to pass laws that favor them over others.. hey it’s ‘ol fashion greed (not that that is good or anything, NOPE and frosts my craw plenty), however the really fake compassion ideals and misguided politics of the ultra liberal left are much worse. They pretend to actually care, and think that justifies rectifying the “morally wrong” inequity of humans existence as some sort of social justice mandate.
I am facing that right now in my city county where multiple rent control initiatives including 6 months relocation expense for tenant evictions, rent control boards to plee to, 250 million bond measures (this is a small county too) to produce low cost subsidized housing, cpi caps on rent increases including utilities, temporary enforcement of these measures even before a public vote, are kind of driving me nutzo.
The reality is these essentially communist ideas come from BASE RESENTMENT that some people have more than others, that economic inequality has no moral or practical reason such as hard work or smarts, never mind property rights or individual responsibility.
It’s going in the krapper guys/gals unless some Americans with some grip on reality, knowledge of the history of how utterly communism failed all over the world stand and call these dangerous people out and oppose them by name at every level.
Same crap in Tallahassee/Leon Co (like I’m supposed to be supporting the renters) so I sold everything and moved to Jefferson County Fl.

Speaking of Venezuela:
The value of silver in Venezuela went up 4,700 TIMES (not percent) in about 1 month. That means, using the Bolivar (the Venezuelan dollar) it cost 170 Bolivar to buy an ounce of silver. Then, not much more than 1 month later It costs 815,000 Bolivar to buy that same 1 ounce of silver. This is a mind boggling example of the value silver CAN have in precarious financial times. Buy some before it’s all gone.
The graphic doesn’t include the headache one gets when one hears someone else discourse on how they are going to do teotwawki with solely a bow and arrow or a bolt action rifle as defensive armament or some other similar nonsense. I am sure it was just an oversight.

Nature has endowed humanity with a choice. It is the only natural right we really have. All the animals on this planet have the same right. Every other right comes from within our groupings, but this is much deeper – exisitential.
This choice is: cold wet and hungry, or hot thirsty and hungry.
This is important because every bit of waste from incompetence, cronyism, graft, bad government choices… pushes us closer to that state of nature where we only get the one choice.
Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again will expecting a different outcome.

Socialists will never understand that, eventually, you run out of other people’s money.
I’ve noticed most of the socialists I meet are women who are government “workers”, teachers, SJWs, and HR drones. Almost none have owned a business (if they have it usually went under) and seem to think funding for whatever they deem important is unlimited.
I constantly hear there’s not enough money for schools, ignoring the waste and fraud of Communist Core and No Child Left Behind, ridiculous licensing of teachers, and nonexistent attempts to get rid of the layers of administrators clogging school arteries.
I’ve had some justify public ed. by saying the Pentagon has lost over $10 ($16?) trillion, but waste is waste and the military budget won’t be decreasing anytime soon.
