Maybe just a little. To be honest though, I’m not sure if I could pull it off at this stage in my life.
Side note: you’d be surprised at how many of those flags you see rolling around on cars and trucks this far north.
When I was a teenager I had 69 GM half-ton with this one sewn to the back of the seat as a cover:

I won it at the fall fair throwing rings or something. I thought it (and I) was ‘bad ass’. My wife says I was a testosterone-fueled meathead/redneck. But then, she married me, didn’t she… :-0
I just finished reading this article in today’s paper and just like I might be surprised to see that flag that far north, you might be surprised to see this jersey this far south. Quite the touching story.
When I was a kid the hockey world was even smaller than it is now.
I played all over western Canada and even a US team once or twice when we were at a tournament near the border. It was a funny world.
We’d damn near kill each other on the ice but off the ice we’d become friends. We respected skill and strength more than anything so even if anger came to fists you’d usually walk away without hate in you.
The opposite was true too. There were guys who I went to school with off the ice that I’d come to fists with on the school grounds, who, if you laid your hands on while we were on the ice I’d fight tooth and nail to defend.
We didn’t always love one another but the arena taught us about loyalty and how to work as a team. It was a great game and I miss it and I can feel the pain that these friends and family are suffering with now.
I’m glad to see that there are those, all the way across a continent, who can empathize with it and express it appropriately.

When we were kids we were Hawks. We grew up wearing those colors and dreaming of the NHL. Here they are wearing the Bronco’s helmets into the SJHL Championship.
You are the best.. God bless you..My keyboard is wet….

If you don’t get it ….
“The Dukes of Hazzard” was a TV show decades back, featuring rednecks mostly. The car they ran around in was called the “General Lee”, I can’t remember what it’s racing number was. Anyway, that’s enough for you to look it up. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Dukes+of+Hazzard&t=brave&ia=web

Francis Marion’s car.
Something he did not know …. giraffes keep track of giraffe murderers.
Obvious this is an inside joke.
It’s bait. Now be quiet or you’ll spook him…
Ain’t she a peach?
You’re jealous, admit it. But now I have to find a new parking spot before the repo man gets there. Thanks.

Funny
That’s not a car. It is a pregnant roller skate run by squirrels on rubber bands……
That car is a BREAST!
Straightenin’ the curves.
Flattenin’ the hills.
Positraction
Goes naturally with the car…
