We all make mistakes but smart people never wind up on the Jerry Springer Show and smart people learn from their mistakes.

They gave us nothing but a record keeping structure. We owe them nothing, all they did was record our work in a way that demands more work. We have zero debt, and hefty interest.
Record keeping is good. Conflating records as debts is evil.
