Neither. A burrower nor a langer be.
Began a documentary. “Wild Wild Country.” Both “sides” nuts.
But, so far, the conservative locals are more chock full. I’ve seen that before, in the bigger idiot box out there. So not surprised.

If a conservative doesn’t approve of people using drugs, he gets them all banned (oh…wait).
If a conservative doesn’t like how a government 10,000 miles away is speaking about Israel, he wants them invaded and destroyed (oh….wait).
If a conservative is excited about a $500,000,000,000 military project, he is fine having the government steal more money from folks to fund it (oh….wait).
If a conservative isn’t morally ok with two consenting adults engaging in consensual sexual acts with each other (maybe even for money), then he wants such acts banned (oh…wait).
Let’s stop pretending that Conservatives LOVE freedom and are oh so tolerant. They don’t and they aren’t. They love big government power being used for THEIR agendas, just like liberals do. Libertarians love freedom….but conservatives are NOT libertarians.
I think the problem is that terms like conservative and liberal get thrown around by everyone without there being any solid or sound definition that everyone can agree upon. And I would contend that there are still plenty of folks here that call themselves “conservatives” who are more than happy with certainly government interventions that destroy freedom, liberty, etc. but further THEIR own personal agenda. Maybe not the ones I listed….but they exist.

I would add that liberals down/out first identify a group to blame for their lot in life and then demand those folks pay for it.
A Conservative Wife lifts her Husband up; a Liberal Wife puts her Husband down.
A liberal who doesn’t eat meat Virtue signals “I’m a Vegan” or only Nazis eat meat.
Hitler was a vegetarian. Just sayin….
