Pyongyang has voiced its regret over America’s attitude during high-level talks with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and accused Washington of seeking unilateral and forced denuclearization from North Korea.
“We were expecting the US… to come up with constructive measures to help build confidence in the spirit of reunion and talks. However, the attitude of the US was indeed regrettable,” said a statement released by the Korean Central News Agency.”
Let this be a lesson to Putin, as if he needs another one, that no deal with Washington can be trusted. As Assad recently said, talking with Washington is a waste of time, because Washington’s word doesn’t mean anything. Washington says one thing and does another.
Putin also has the example of Trump tearing up the nuclear agreement with Iran. Now apparently North Korea. Russia herself has a long miserable experience of stupidly trusting Washington: “NATO won’t move one inch to the East.” The ABM Treaty, and so on.
If Putin is constrained by starry-eyed Russian Atlanticist Integrationists and isn’t on his toes when he meets with Trump in a few days, Russia will again have a miserable experience. Already the Western-worshiping Atlanticist Integrationists are planting stories in the media about the concessions Putin is prepared to make to Washington.
Why should Putin make any concessions? The problem is Washington’s hegemonic ideology, not Russia. Putin should make no concessions. If he does, he will collect nothing in return.

Pres Trump and Pres Putin will have a productive meeting and emerge as friends. Trump will get ink, after all he’s a closer (and coffee is only for closers).

There is nothing for Russia to concede except surrender. Thus how can any talks succeed?
Here is a breakdown of what either side should give up in order for normal relations to resume:
The US…
1) Agree that Crimea is Russian sovereign territory.
2) Agree that Eastern Ukraine should be permitted to secede, hold a referendum whether to exist as a sovereign entity or join the Russian Federation.
3) The US must completely withdraw from Syria.
4) The US must stop arming Ukraine
5) The US must remove all economic sanctions on Russia.
6) The US must withdraw from NATO
7) The US must remove all medium range missiles from Europe and all weapons from former Soviet republics, including closing any military bases.
8) The US must cease patrolling the Black Sea
9) The US must adopt sanctions on Israel if it does not stop arming ISIS terrorists and Ukrainian Nazis
10) The US must permit Russia to re-open and staff embassies in the US.
Russia…
Nothing. There is nothing Russia needs to do except continue doing what it has been doing.
Even though he is a chunk, I figure Trump is doing yoga while he watches Fox for hours every day. How else could he bend over so far ? What a goof. The problem is, when he figures out he really got schooled by Kim he is going to throw a fit and have a tantrum. That means war.
As for meeting Putin he’s hoping for a little pat on the head from someone richer, smarter, and more ruthless. He just wants to be seen with him. He’s like the little puke someone lets hang around the tough guys. No Donald, you’re not tough, or smart, or decisive. You’re just kind of a bully who is always looking for cheerleaders. I haven’t see that since junior high. Pathetic.
