The Wisdom Of The Ad Men

Guest Post by The Zman

Last night I watched an NFL football game for the first time in so long I don’t recall the last time I watched a full game. I did watch a game this year on Balkan television. It may have been in Bulgarian or possibly Croatian. I don’t speak either language, I just knew it was a feed from a Balkan country. It was entertaining for the short time I watched, mostly for the commercials. From what I could tell, the people in the Balkans who watch American football really enjoy casino gambling and drinking brightly colored cocktails by the pool.

It used to be that you could tell a lot about the audience for a show or time slot by watching the commercials. After all, the people buying ad time want to market to the demographic that will buy their product. Years ago when I was between jobs, I found myself staying up late and I noticed the ads were mostly for products popular with senior citizens. That’s when I discovered that retired people often keep odd hours. If you don’t have a reason to get up early, you have no reason to go to bed early, so a lot of old people stay up late.

The ad last night that got me thinking about this was a DirecTV spot where two little Aztecs are running a lemonade stand. What looked like a Hispanic women walks up and asked for a cup of lemonade. The mother of the Aztecs jumps in and gives the woman all of the lemonade. The scene flips to the mother and her children in Raider gear on the couch cheering a football game. Apparently, the people of DirecTV think the audience for NFL games is in large part composed of single Aztec mothers living in America.

The ad that almost had me turning it off and picking a different topic for the post today was one for a NBC TV show. This was for a show called SUV and it appears to feature screeching middle aged hens. In the episode they were hyping, the hens were about to arrest a government official for kidnapping migrant children on the border. Yeah, these lunatics really believe that stuff. What are the odds that screeching harpies are watching football? Obviously, it is just the network slipping agit-prop into the broadcast for spite.

Now, I think most of us have figured out at this stage that commercial ads are just as much about selling the anti-white as about selling product. In fact, it is clear that many of the ads are only about selling degeneracy. There was an ad for American Express featuring two gay guys playing house. A BMW ad had a short clip of couples kissing and one of the couples was two hairy guys. The people creating these ads certainly know that the viewers find this stuff revolting, but they do it anyway, again suggesting it is spite.

On the other hand, I noticed something strange in the car ads. There were high production ads for BMW, Mercedes and the new Audi A7. An NFL audience seems like an unlikely place for selling luxury German sedans. You can’t walk out of a Mercedes dealership without spending sixty grand on a car they use for taxis in Europe. The Audi they were hyping starts at seventy grand, which means the typical model is in the eighties. I’m sure some luxury car owners love football, but my bet is most fans like pickup trucks more.

The thing is though, those ads were early in the game, but then they gave way to the ads for the networks degenerate programming and then later to ads for domestic cars and fast food products. Maybe the agit-prop makers have learned that upscale people will watch a little of the game then move on so they beam ads at the cackling hen demo early and then they switch over to the core audience that will stick with the whole game. After all, lots of middle aged single white women pretend to love football and motorcycles.

The hilarious part to me was the halftime show. It featured the CivNat dream team of three well-spoken black guys. You can be sure that the audience for Ben Shapiro was trying to get selfies of themselves in front of the TV screen during halftime. That’s where you see the genius of the marketing men. Whites in America are like trained seals when it comes to the heroic black guy. It’s why Candace Owens will become very rich simply by tweeting about how much she loves Donald Trump. It’s like taking candy from babies.

Another funny thing you see in the ads is the companies peddling some technology concept have the super smart black guy as the spokesman. You would think they would go with an East Asian or a South Asian, since most people are used to those guys working in the company IT department. Instead, it is the sort of black guy no one has ever seen on earth. He’s a bookish looking mulatto, who is glib and confident. Sightings of Big Foot are more common than black guys running IT departments and far more plausible.

It is tempting, of course, to say that it is just another example of how out of touch the Cloud People are about who is watching television. The reality is though, the ad men know their audience. Whites in America are fully immersed in anti-white hatred. In fact, it is the civic religion of white people now. It is the reason they gobble up shows featuring blacks in traditional white roles. Civic nationalism is just a suicide note. Most white people think the glorious future will not include them because it should not include them.

It’s why howling about the volcano demon, while amusing, is counter productive. The response from the typical white person is to bark out some version of “what about Ben Shapiro.” He’s popular for the same reason ads with race mixers are popular. You can’t change those minds by confirming what they have been trained to believe. The game is to sow doubt and confusion about the joys of diversity into the mind’s of the typical white person, getting them to question why they feel good about seeing those ads on TV.

That’s the thing you see with these ads. The first task of the ad maker is to create a positive image. The happy black man with the white wife and caramel colored kids, juxtaposed to the gloomy old white guy is not going to sell the gloomy old white guys in the audience, but it well see the white women. People on our side need to come to terms with the fact that reason is never a winning approach. No one has ever been talked out of their religion. They have a crisis, lose faith and then find a church that makes them happy.

All it takes is a Google search of who owns or controlls the advertisement industry and you will know why there is so much anti – white shit on commercials. Jews own or are in positions of authority. That’s the answer. Jews are throughout the business. I said fuck to tv a while back. I say fuck you to whites who are so stupid that don’t know they are being feed pure propaganda. Propaganda can change a nation and that’s why they are being hit with so much of it.Only a full economic collapse along with much violence will wake These people up. But by then it will be to late.

I just had the same conversation about the same commercial about an hour ago…Yes, the NFL actually thinks it can market to women and Hispanics, neither of whom has any interest in NFL football…..That may also be why the NFL has turned into Flag football..

You can tell a network that is on the ropes by the kinds of ads they run. Stucky pointed out that CNN’s goose was overcooked several years ago. If you want to know who the network’s audience is, find out who they are not allowed to criticize. Actually, just look at the ads. Black people? Brown people in the ads? Network is on the slippery slope greased by turds.

Long ago, my mom complained that Mexican novelas are not realistic, everybody lives in a big house on a big rancho. They have rich people problems and don’t even act like Mexicans, they act like caricatures of Mexicans. Yet, the dumbasses sell to Mexicans. Strike that, Univision sells to Cubans. Their commercials are seasoned with salsa music. No self-respecting Mexican listens to that crap.

They are trying to cram Cuban shit down our throat because we’re all Hispanic, right? Then they have the horrible Latin Music Awards farce in Vegas where all the winners are Cuban and Puerto Rican auto-tune acts nobody listens to; Pit Bull, Marc Antony, Daddy Yankee…Oh, and a token retrospective on Selena or Jennie Rivera to keep the Mexican viewership happy.

Did you see the graphic that shows a large number of states do major trade with Mexico? Mexico, dammit. How much trade does America carry on with Cuba or Puerto Rico? Let’s grab a bucket of Coronas and crank up Los Tigres del Norte.

Not far from the truth, Corona was one of the yard beers commonly referred to as Caguamas pronounced ca-wa-ma. 32 ounce bottles of beer. Usually Tecate, Carta Blanca, Victoria, Corona Familiar Pacifico or Sol. The fancy shit was Superior.

I watch the HBO show The Deuce late at night since I do not have to get up to work. I found a bit of truth from the old days when a black pimp character whose girl was working doing porno, asked a white man producer why he did not use black men in his film pornos, implying racism. The old white man producer said it wasn’t racism, it was economics as no one wanted to watch black men in their porn.

My how times have changed.

La Negra Tiene Tumbao by Celia Cruz gets over 72 million views. Dos Equis chasing El Patron shots for me if I was still young enough to be in the game. I do like me some Celia Cruz. I blame it on my days as a impressionable pre teen in Puerto Rico where I learned to cha cha and merengue.

KS, I have grown to appreciate your random stories more and more. Especially since the news we are forced to comment and opine about is such a mishmash of lunacy.

For example, I saw the new controversy about Led Zeppelin’s opening riff versus the Spirit’s opening riff and wondered when we will be told we can’t even hum someone’s song without paying them royalties.

See, that was interesting to try and follow, not having been schooled in music.
What it reminded me of, was 2 or 3 specific scenes in Amadeus, where F. Murray Abraham, as Saliere, tries to describe the extraordinarily beautiful music Mozart composed and it’s effect on him and his own mediocrity.
Humbling, yet extremely gratifying at the same time.

The scene where Mozart is near death, and he’s dictating a composition to Saliere to write down is, I.m.o.,, one of the best in the movie. Saliere gets frustrated and can’t grasp the complexity, and when he finally starts to understand, the movie producers play each part by itself as audio, during Wolfie’s attempt to explain it.
You hear the different parts as they are described separately, but when combined, and you hear the harmony, it’s absolute genius. Confutatis scene.

Another one is earlier, when Mozart is almost out of money, so his wife secretly takes some of his original works to show to Saliere, seeking a commission.
Again, as he’s poring over the compositions, the producers are playing bits of each one, layered between Saliere’s narrative recollection of his amazement at the creativity of someone he’s insanely jealous of.
By far, my favorite classical music to listen to, when I want to take a break from lyrics, Rock, or Country…

Edit: the harmony is what makes Zep’s intro better than Spirit’s, in that analysis video from Maggie. Stairway sounds sweeter than Taurus, but, I had more exposure to Zep than Spirit.

BTW, the director’s cut version of Amadeus includes a topless shot of Elizabeth Berridge, as Mozart’s wife, in a humiliation moment solicited by Saliere, who then kicks her out of his palace estate for stooping so low in desperation for money.
She never forgives him for it.

Frau Mozart, I got a line on you babe.

I did a two hour interview with Celia Cruz (r.i.p.) back in ’77, I believe it was, and she was one of the most pleasant people I’ve been privileged to meet. The proposed piece was an effort to claim her as the Latina Edith Piaf, but it was never published. I still maintain she was! Great talent, great backstory on how she came to be a singer. A genuinely modest, friendly, courteous and well-spoken celebrity.

I’d be delighted if it were possible, but it’s long lost. Somewhere in a box of old cassettes I may still have it (the interview, not the failed article), but I’m just not up to going into the storeroom and tackling that task at present.

We did it in NY at the Fania offices. Her husband (a quiet, unassuming guy, also courteous and friendly), Jerry Masucci and Johnny Pacheco were also present. Fania had a very successful album of CC and Willy Colón out at the time, one of the first true “crossover” salsa albums, and I suggested they have bilingual liner notes to attract more non-Spanish speakers, commenting that while I spoke Spanish, I couldn’t really understand the lyrics of the song “Burundanga”. CC laughed her rich laugh and said, “But that’s a Dominican song! I hardly understand them either!” Pacheco, a Dominican himself, laughed as loud as anyone.

Lo siento, amigo!

Let’s look at the way Hollywood, and, by extension, the “mainstream media” portrays white heterosexual males. In just about every sitcom and movie, white males are portrayed as bumbling idiots, low IQ types, or secondary individuals who take orders from nattily-dressed minorities, usually from black males. In family situations, white males are portrayed as bumbling idiots, who are married to overbearing, demanding women who constantly put them down, and children who are all smart-asses who look upon the white male as nothing more than an ATM, whose opinions are not to be taken seriously.
Every sort of freak, from homosexuals, lesbians, cross-dressers, left-wing jews and communists, and pedophiles are looked upon favorably and put upon pedestals, while white males are marginalized.
The only way out is for white males to remove themselves from the “bread and circuses” of professional sports, shutting off the Talmudvision, and cultivating real friendships and connections, and devoting attention to things that really matter.
