Stucky QOTD: God’s Brain

Image result for god's brain

Q1:  Does God have a Brain?

IF YES;

— Q2: Is it a physical brain, or a spiritual brain?  (If you say “spiritual brain”, what does that even mean?)

— Q3: Does God’s Brain require other support systems, such as; a heart, lungs, etc. to keep it going?

—— Q4:  If God’s Brain does NOT need a support system, then are you saying that God is just …. Pure Brain?  (If so, how does it get from one place to another?)

— Q5:  Certainly, God’s Brain must have dimensions.  So, how big is God’s brain? As big as a breadbox? A planet?

— Q6:  With zero challenges to its existence, and with never needing anything, and with never being able to be surprised, and with knowing the answer to everything …. does God’s Brain ever say to itself;
                    ***  “Holy Crap! I Am …. bored as Fuck!!!”  ****

.

IF NO;

— Q7:  If God has no brain …. then what the hell makes him God???

Umm mum mum chanting does my brain have a god? Is there a logic to an indecipherable cause?

I like the slogan G O D – “Good Orderly Direction” and it is a given, a system of judgement is in place to ask the question.

Again, thanks Stucky for your contributions here.

Q1: No
Q7: IMO, the fundamental essence of God is His eternal (outside of time) existence. Omnipotence & omniscience are secondary.

I don’t think these statements can be derived solely from reason. They’re both the premises and the conclusions, if they’re believed at all. Of course, the belief in the non-existence of an uncaused cause is no more rational or provable.

Obviously God has a dick, though – because He’s a dude.

He is Spirit and has no physical form and therefore no physical features or limitations of form.

Heard someone report once, that all of the leading scholars of study regarding the human brain state that man uses a very small percentage of his brains capacity and potential.
Something like 10%, of its creative thinking capacity and intelligence.
Rare exceptions maybe 15 or 20%.
Believe it was Earl Nightengale, on that topic, from his audio The Strangest Secret. Secret being, as we think, so shall we become. But too many don’t know it, understand it, or develope it.
Yet it’s been proven throughout history, by the realization of some of the most intelligent people and the greatest philosophers on record.
He spoke about Napoleon Hills writings in Think! And Grow Rich.
If we could use our brains capacity more effectively, we’d have no trouble learning to speak numerous languages, and store information equivalent to all areas of encyclopedic reference resource materials.
But, as humans, we have been limited, and not yet learned how to develope our excess brain capacity.

God? Creator? Supreme Being? Odin? The Source?
All knowing. Unlimited. Spirit.

The most facinating read by far for me is the merging of quantum mechanics and consciousness. It turns out that every cell has one or more microtubules in them.
The neurons in our brains have the highest concentration of these microtubules.
What doctors Hammeroff and Penrose have discovered is that these microtubules exhibit the quantum mechanical behaviors of super position and entanglement. They believe they are the basic elements creating our consciousness. If you have read about the new quantum computers, you will get the idea of how powerfull they are. What would take a trillion years to compute using our digital technologies takes just a few minutes on a quantum computer. It was always a hard sell to me that 800 billions neurons could conjure up your consciousness. This discovery is almost devine. It connects us to the universe. This is about as close to God as I am getting, but what if we are all God? No single entity, but an aggregate entity, containing all our souls.

God’s brain is pure brain in the same sense that our universe is pure universe. Humans are not capable of perceiving the universe in multiple physical scales and how they relate to time. The whole idea of a universe in a grain of sand, or in a single synapse… its enough to melt the average human brain. Actually we’re not capable of much when it comes to perceiving god.

God CAN BE FOUND!

In Acts 17… Paul (the apostle to the Gentiles, which is us today) said,
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
God also provided atonement for us and is waiting in his marvelous Grace for men to be saved today from this corrupt and evil world.

Jesus Christ, gave himself freely for our sins. His blood offered in our place! Through his death, burial and resurrection (in our place) WE CAN BE SAVED. Not only from God’s wrath, but for eternity…according to his purpose…
Believe it and get saved! All we have to do is believe…

Read God’s book. Start at Romans 1.
Grace to all FREELY GIVEN !

One of the more interesting postulates of modern physics is that ‘knowledge’ cannot be destroyed. The Pythagorean theorem always existed and always will independent of whether or not a Pythagoras ‘discovers’ it. So all the ‘knowledge’ in the universe already exists and always will.

Entropy says all that ever was must end when all the available energy in the Universe is used up but we can’t really define that. It is just as probable that all that exists collapses back into a singularity and the big bang begins anew. We can’t explain how that would happen but we can’t explain how it began before either.

In other news your hero Putin was caught lying about his hypersonic missile being operational. As I suggested they are having problems developing thermal shielding for the projectile when it enters dense air! I also note their manned space program had a major setback a couple of days ago probably because Putin has diverted his best engineers to his missile programs and let the space program decay.

Entropy says all that ever was must end when all the available energy in the Universe is used up but we can’t really define that

Max Plank hypothesized the ‘heat death’ of the universe. Entropy will eventually cause no free thermodynamic energy left to do ‘work’. The universe will be in thermodynamic equilibrium.

There are many reoccurring themes in nature and the body, like the tree of life and placenta posted . Also the lungs are an almost perfect representation of an inverted tree ending in the alveoli that exchange gases just as leaves do.
Another interesting thing is the “golden ratio/proportion” that is seen in nature, the body, art, science…

Headline: Nematode dissection reveals striking similarity to brain of former Red Rope.

Scientists in Siberia have isolated the central nervous system of a common parasite that has brain-like functions. Audio-simulation implants detected faint signals that one scientist described as cadence-like rhythms and a faintly discernible ‘halt’. Motility paused for a while until researchers placed rabbit pellets in the petri dish.

I’d already blathered enough today, but Tommy rang your bell at 2:47 (commenting on your response to BB) in Kuntzler’s latest “We’re Fucked” belch.

Tommy juxtaposed your God’s Brain musing to your criticism of a biblical verse-geyser and it set me to laughing so hard… I had to read G’sB , and here I am again, hoping to be Gulliver’d by incestuous Lilliputians.

No, God doesn’t have a brain.

I did the obvious. I consulted King James at BibleGateway.

Q1. It took a while to come up with a satisfactory scripture but this one seems to support the idea that God, indeed, at the least has a “mindset” in the Holy Spirit, so that suggests a brain function.

Romans 8:27
And the one who searches our hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he intercedes on behalf of the saints according to the will of God.

Now, let me look at the next question.

Lol Stucky.

How can God be bored?.. He is not a man … but he is the one true living God from everlasting! He is our maker, and creator of heaven and earth. He has many that worship him, and are holding fast to him by faith… He is building something today.
Read Ephesians, Colossians . He’s BUSY!

As we live in “the days of evil”…Eph. 5:16…it seems clear to me that the time is near when we will all get to see him!

Phil.3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 ¶Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17 ¶Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Seek yet the book of the Lord and read…the answers are in there.

I just returned to this. I’ll jump to Q6, then.

Q6: With zero challenges to its existence, and with never needing anything, and with never being able to be surprised, and with knowing the answer to everything …. does God’s Brain ever say to itself;
*** “Holy Crap! I Am …. bored as Fuck!!!” ****

Gimme ten minutes to research and come up with something either interesting or just clever.

Well, I just now opened Bible Gateway to start searching and then realized I’ve always figured the Book of Job is the result of God being bored and figuring Job was good for a bit of entertainment.

Keep it up Stucky ! Eventually you’ll go back to your first love before the world made you a bitter old goat . I think you think God has betrayed you. You are not alone but you must remember our way is the way of the Cross. The Cross represents suffering ,pain and death . There is no other way. On the bright side we will never know the pain and suffering of Christ when He took the full force of God’s Wrath on our behalf.

GOD doesn’t need a brain; he is spirit. Humans have a brain and look what it has done to us. Jesus Christ’s message to the world came from the heart. His gospel is from the heart.

The human brain is nothing but a computer. It’s input comes from the five physical senses. It is the ego in us that misuses our brain for it’s own selfish purposes. The ego has developed into a false personality by education and culture. Outside influence.

And this is the problem man faces with the use of his brain.

GOD is an inside influence. This influence comes through the heart. So here we see a contradiction between the ego and the heart for the right use of Will; that is human Will. Do we listen to the ego who rules the brain or GOD who influences through the heart?

Just my two cents in this conversation, “Does GOD have a brain.”

Can’t argue with that. Spirit body? The word body implies a material form. In fact all our words relate to material forms so we can’t even talk about a spirit god. So how do we talk about a nothing god? We really can’t because a spirit doesn’t really exist in our material world.

So what does god really mean? There are monasteries full of monks praying for contact with this elusive non material entity. So what do we say god is? Why don’t we say we don’t know and leave it at that. Then there are no arguments, no wars about it, no grace country pastors pumping their version of it and all will be well.

What qualities did Jesus have when he rose from the grave?…
Luke 24:
33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven gathered together and those who were with them,
34 who said, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”
35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
36 ¶As they were saying this, Jesus himself stood among them.
37 But they were startled and frightened, and supposed that they saw a spirit.
38 And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do questionings rise in your hearts?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me, and see; FOR A SPIRIT HATH NOT FLESH AND BONES AS YOU SEE THAT I HAVE.”
40 And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?”
42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish,
43 and he took it and ate before them.
44 ¶Then he said to them, “These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.”

Writing regards thoughts, intent etc…… the whole book is God’s.
He also can be “wearied”… Malachi 2:17…

He also LOVES…
EPH.2:4-5
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

“even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ”

The Christ consciousness.

In the quote above “dead” means not having the consciousness of Christ. “trespasses” means regarding the material above the spiritual.

In the world today we see many that are dead. They are all around us. Even we many times; as we are, are dead by the reactions we have in response to those around us.

By grace we are saved. Christ said we must love our neighbor as our self. Even as our dead neighbors trespasses against us, we are to forgive them of their trespasses against us as God forgives us of our trespasses against him.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to our salvation. This means ridding our self of negative thoughts and negative actions. In doing this we become a light unto others.

Many today have become lost to the way. For those who have become awake to the way it is our responsibility to show others the way by our actions. We don’t have to preach to others. We just have to show them by the life we live.

Happiness and joy is found in the way. This is living by grace; and by grace we are saved.

Some food for thought. Maybe the universe is the physical manifestation of GOD’s brain? If that is the case then maybe the human brain’s structure is patterned after GOD’s brain. As above so below. Don’t the pictures seem to reflect this? And if this is the case than the human ego and it’s will is in direct contradiction to GOD’s will.

One last thought about God. How do we know there is a God? We accent to it in a realization just like we accent to values. Just like God; values are non material. The just man accents to values in the living of his life. He has a realization that values come from God. The domain of values are non material unlike the domain of fact which is based on the material. When we are truly conscious of values we accent to their reality. When by our actions we create values, we realize reality.

We do not know how we accent to values; we just realize them. There is no process to it. It is the same with God.
