Real close to my Christmas with the in-laws yesterday, without the beer and cigs, though it’s not been too long since my step-father-in-law quit smoking, taking off his oxygen, to go have a cig then putting it back on. The menu was terrible chili, which I did not eat and I kid you not, sliders made with packaged lunch meat. This was my sis-n-law’s idea. Last night my husband said we are not going there next year.
My kids are not included in their Christmas, all the better. So my own dinner looked more like the top one. However, we did drink a bit of wine and got the whiskey out later.

Hmmmm….,family gathered in both pics/all smiling/both families have food,really don’t see any issues,both look like nice gatherings.

Nobody’s on a cell phone, everyone seems to be conversing, nobody is covered in tattoos, piercings, or dressing up as a gender they are not. Sure, food choices could be better, but all in all, not anywhere near as horrible as many “family” gatherings actually are these days. Frankly if all of America looked as good as the second pic, we wouldn’t be as fucked up as we are.
And remember, an “idyllic” looking photo doesn’t always portend good or sane times ahead for any family. Just look at this freakshow from the past.
Which one of dem ho’s slipped up and married that decent looking white guy?? Tranny Granny in the back can be Grandma/Grandpa to all the little niglets. Merika, hell yeah!!
