Swamp Swallows Trump

Guest Post by Joe Guzzardi

President Trump wants more people to come to the United States! With my own two ears, I heard the President say on back-to-back days that he wants historically high immigration levels, and more people that he foolishly claims “we need.”

Since President Trump was referring to more legal immigration, one could be forgiven for thinking that he had never heard of chain migration where eventually one legal immigrant petitions an average of 3.5 family members to come to the U.S. But analysts who follow and study the nation’s suicidal immigration laws and their loopholes know that President Trump is fully aware of chain migration and its consequences.

Last year, in his State of the Union address, Trump touted ending chain migration. At various times in 2018 he enthusiastically supported Reforming American Immigration for a Stronger Economy (RAISE), legislation from senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and David Purdue (R-GA), that favored skill-based over the current family-based immigration which drives more than 75 percent of the nation’s population growth. Assuming the status quo continues, by 2065, America will see an increase in population from today’s 328 million to more than 400 million.

Ignore for the moment the effect adding more work-authorized immigrants has on job competition and stagnant wages, and concentrate on the practical significance of adding ever-more people to the ever-swelling population of our country. Of course, adding more and more people to an already overpopulated country is something that apparently neither President Trump, nor private citizen Trump, has a clue about.

Whether President Trump is in the White House, Trump Tower or Mar-a-Lago, he’s isolated from the everyday reality of getting from one place to another. Among the many headaches the President doesn’t endure that are all too familiar to the rest of us are paralyzing Beltway traffic jams, maddening Florida I-95 traffic jams, and the stifling, undependable DC Metro or NYC Subway. President Trump will never be forced to, as I recently was, make a half-mile sprint and then jump on a tram through the sprawling Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, carry-on luggage in hand, in a failed and frustrating effort to make my connecting flight.

When Trump returns to private citizen status, he will travel on his personal 757 equipped with 24-karat gold seat belts, the $100 million T-Bird as he lovingly calls his jumbo jet. In American presidential history, President Trump is the only office holder for which Air Force One represents a downgrade. For those shorter jaunts, the President owns a $7 million Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. The President sails through city streets preceded by a Secret Service manned motorcade.

But for most of us, more people means we’ll have to deal with more cars and buses that will hit the road, generating more traffic and inevitably more sprawl. Hard to believe though it is, air travel will become more uncomfortable as airports expand, and airline manufacturers produce larger seating capacity commercial jets.

On immigration and specifically on more immigration, President Trump is rejecting Americans’ wishes. A survey of 1,000 voters after the 2018 mid-term election found that 53 percent want to reduce legal immigration from its annual level of more than 1 million, while only 30 percent of voters want immigration increases.

With President Trump’s promotion of more immigration to grow our population even larger, it appears the Swamp has swallowed whole the country’s Chief Executive.

Was he swallowed by the swamp or is he the ultimate swamp creature? Its fine to build a wall which will require tax dollars but does he ever mention e-verify or penalties for hiring illegals? According to the Washington Times only 5 of the 565 companies in the Trump business empire are signed up to use e-verify.
Also someone who is going to drain the swamp would not hire swamp creatures like Steve Mnuchin , John Bolton and Mike Pompeo. How about Attorney General Barr from Poppy Bush administration? Or Elliot Abrams convicted of lying to congress about Iran-Contra but pardoned by the aforementioned Bush.
Trump was never going to drain the swamp.

Most of this country’s problems can be attributed to oligarchs & lawmaker’s lack of having to feel the burn that their laws inflict upon the commoners.

Trump is the ultimate back peddling politician. He is a Judas goat, especially on immigration. He really knows how to boil his frog constituents very, very slowly. Give him another six years and he will fuck you in the street.

The truth is there is no difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. The end result is the same. The elimination of the long established culture in the U.S., a permanent democrat voter base installed, and white genocide. And you blacks, you are not immune either. And you should understand this more than whites, given your miserable history is similar to that of death through slavery, thus genocidal. These Mexicans breed like rabbits and don’t believe in birth control because of Catholicism. So join whitey on this one and don’t be a chump.

How can Trump complain about “Shithole Countries”, whilst turning this country into one by capitulating on immigration, 180 degrees contrary to his campaign promises? Trump is an oligarchs wet dream. Flooding the nation with immigrants, legally or illegally, benefits the rich pricks that hire them cheaper, thereby displacing working Americans and lowering their standard of living. The author is correct that Trump lives in his ivory tower and as such is completely disconnected from the 95% under him. Ironically, most of which voted for him and put him in office because he said he wouldn’t do this very thing, among other things as well.

There needs to be a federal law or constitutional amendment, that somehow states if a president or member of congress reneges on their campaign promises, that they are IMMEDIATELY removed from office and new elections held. If it is not proven to be no fault of their own. Which they’ll probably figure out a way to manipulate that.

Another simple fix, it would seem.

There are so many poison pills in this ‘continuing resolution’ & activist judges that will declare a nationwide injunction against ‘the national emergency’ that I’m done. The US is toast.

Yeah this “deal” is utterly horrible, Trump is an idiot if/when he signs this. What’s the point, for an extra 1.3billion for the the crappy metal “wall” that can be vetoed depending on how many liberals there are near the border? Letting more criminals go and making an even bigger incentive to bring children to the border to force them inside and let loose? The national emergency declaration is also crap, why bother doing that if your going to sign the shit-sandwich deal?

The US is the Titanic and has been for a very long time. Trump at best was someone that just slowed things down slightly. Clearly half the the Rep’s are swamp creatures and don’t give a shit about the avg person either.
Trump being a savior is a sad state of affairs to begin with. But at this point we have a shitty Republican party, or the communist manifesto party of the Soylent green new deal. So despite the R’s sucking, they are still less crazy then the Demo-Commies. If they actually gain power and attempt to implement even just a few things from the Green New Deal we would be starving to death, freezing to death, and the debt fest economy would implode. China and Japan the other largest economies are going full tilt debt insanity as well, but trying to take on 100 trillion in debts within 10yrs on top of our built in debts would destroy what’s left of the funny money system.

The southern border is a big problem, but its not our biggest problem in the short run. In the long run, I think the US economy, food/water, and maybe energy systems collapse before we get an extra 20million folks that will be dependent on the welfare system. Drink some whiskey or pray, and enjoy the day, b/c Carpe Diem means more everyday.

Wanting more immigrants to come in to the U.S. makes no sense. We have 103 Million Americans who are unemployed and have given up looking for work and now President Trump and Congress wants more immigrants to come in and take American citizens jobs and drive the wage scale down plus some of these immigrants will rape and murder American citizens. TRULY, TRULY OUR POLITICAL LEADERS HAVE LOST THEIR EVER LOVING MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, keep talking about the 103 million Americans who supposedly want jobs. Thanks to our wonderful education system and all the “rights”talk we’ve been fed for the past 40 years, at least 50% of those “looking for work” don’t really want to work, they want a “position” (preferably supine or at most sitting down). ” Work? You mean sweating and straining myself? Nah, not me…”. In my experience, the only thing that can motivate some of those “out-of-work” folks is the feeling of their bellybutton rubbing on their backbone–maybe. Fortunately out here i n flyover country I’ve been blessed to meet some young people in whom the rot has not yet settled and who will, I believe, be able to kick the wheels into motion and get things going again after the Great Reset and all that implies. If I had not had that experience, I’m afraid I might have accepted the “Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here” motto over the open air insane asylum we call the USA. As things appear to me, Jesus is still Lord, the promises of God still stand, and we who are alive have much work to do. I pray His blessings for all who want them, and that all should come to saving knowledge of Him.

I sent the following to Mr. T after reading a White House message I got.

Dear. Mr. President Trump;
PLEASE re-think your call for more immigration of any kind. PLEASE don’t cave to the US Chamber of Commerce, The Business Round Table, Wall Street, Koch Brothers, Pelosi & Schumer some in your own cabinet or any other vested interest that wants more illegals &/or legal immigrants.
Leave a space of time (5 years or so) for Customs & Border Patrol to sort out the mess we have now.
I am very disappointed, VERY, Sir that you signed another overspending bill that actually works against what you promised regarding the wall when you were a candidate. It’s almost as if you are not paying attention the ever growing national debt. Are you trying to out do Obama in that regard? Your signature has already added another TRILLION of debt.
Please listen closer to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs & One America News’ Graham Ledger & Liz Wheeler. You need real Patriots around you. Too many are CINO-RINOs.
Also Sir PLEASE pay closer attention to Numbers USA.
Caps are for emphasis Mr. President. I am not shouting at you Sir. I’ll save the shouting for when I watch the above news people present their views on the terrible bill you AGAIN signed.
Shucks Mr. T, I was actually starting to believe in you. You have set me & MILLIONS of your supporters back because you signed another rotten bill. PLEASE quit letting the fascist Dimms manipulate you! Your ratings were higher than the ‘polls’ say. But perhaps not so much now…we don’t like being slapped in the face by someone we hoped we could trust.
With all due respect Sir, be the MAN we elected.

SamFox
Rimrock, AZ ”

Perhaps, rather most likely, Mr. T will never see my words. But like a little bird with small feet in the air when someone told me “The sky is falling!!” I do what I can.
