I always liked Nazareth, especially this song. So I could never get into AC/DC. I thought they were a poor rehash.

Lenny’s version I enjoyed much more then the Guess Who,saw him a few times backing up Petty and was a great show each time!

Band X has sold 10 albums each with 10 songs. Of those 100 songs 10 are judged Gold/ Hits/ Classics. We’re 10% of the US population & The Guess Who were decades ago. So I’ve heard the hits of a 1980 population of 20 million since Gr. 6, one tenth of what an American may hear under the same rules.
Projectile vomiting – can I hit the 49th from home? Definitely – heck, put on ‘Sweet City Woman’ by the Calgary Stampeders & any Canuck can shower Atlanta from Chicoutimi.
Simple question: Is Can-Con (or all) music 90% garbage, absolutely irredeemable, never shown the light of day after filling the vinyl grooves of an LP?
Is it impossible for a DJ to find/ occasionally insert/ draw attention to other songs on those LP’s?
Can you not allow me to raise my head from the bucket even for 3 minutes per day?
