As one of the most iconic buildings in the world the safety precautions would be monstrous during such construction. In most construction there is somebody charged with staying for hours after the work day to ensure no safety precautions are overlooked. Electrical things are unplugged, nothing left on, NO FIRES OR POSSIBLE FLAMMABLE SITUATIONS EXIST. WITH other French churches burned, security would be enormous at Notre Dame. Something stinks and that is them saying it wasn’t arson before an investigation.
