Simply untrue in this dispensation. It was true in time past and will be true sometime in the future, but now, if one hadn’t noticed, God is silent save through His word and body.
C. S. Lewis made an uplifting statement about the glory of God, the Word of God throughout all time.
Per Scripture, the Word of God holds up creation.
I cherish learning about the Holy Trinity from verse by verse ministry dot org and the Holy Bible. Perhaps someday you will visit the site– maybe, first, check out the mini-lesson on video about the end times. However, each teaching is uplifting, complete and whether or not an individual is struggling or completely mature in their faith, their relationship with the Lord brings Him glory.
While it may be “uplifting” it is still incorrect. Would you rather be lifted up by falsehood or sobered by truth?
I’ve made my choice.
Through bad times and good, whether unto myself or others, I am uplifted by His truth, His attributes.
Pastors listen to and discuss the Word of God with other Pastors. This is why I thought you might enjoy a look at what VbV ministry is up to. ?

His Truth is infinitely uplifting! Not the spin people put on His truth mind you (and that I must be so very careful of and with) but the words written on the page. There is nothing more uplifting on earth to a man then what God wrote… ?
Forgive my initial prickly suspicions, please. It comes with the territory, though someday I hope such will begin to dissipate.

I am aware you are Bold in Jesus Christ, you have compassion, you are slow to anger, you have a sense of humor, and you are assertive as may need to be (and much more). I am also aware you are not careless with His truth and Word.
I once read a persecution study I will share here. The man persecuted and tortured for his faith in Jesus was reported to meditate upon Scripture, as he did not have a bible. Like you and this brother in Christ, I am grateful for the time I am able to study the Word of God.
