The Death of Socialism

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Socialism is dying because governments have made promises they cannot keep. Now when people expect that they will be there, they suddenly find the promises have been constantly revised. They always point to the rich and how they will make them pay. Everything who thinks they cannot possibly be the rich cheer, but at the end of the day, their taxes never decline and the promised-land seems further and further away.

While economically, all parties on the left, always offer crumbs to the poor, they are busy stealing from the public treasury and handing out favors to lobbyists who donate to their campaigns. Then they pretend there is also a considerable religious divide with the greedy rich and the warm and caring politicians who feels your pain. No matter what they say, somehow raising the taxes on the rich miraculously always somehow ends up raising everyone else’s taxes as well.

Socialism is dying and in the process this will only inspire violence. People believed in this system. They really believed those in power had their best interests at heart. Unfortunately, we are moving into this darkness where more and more people are beginning to realize that government is the number one problem – not Global Warming.

I was reading the Bible last name and came across this ” Behold, this was the iniquity of their sister Sodom : Pride , fullness of bread and the abundance of idleness was in her “Ez 16:49 Of course there was homosexuality and every other sin to speak of.That more than anything sums up America. White people will not do a damn thing until they get hungry. Neither will Europe. I am beginning to think we need an economic collapse and some starvation to get people off their comfortable asses.

An economic collapse might also bring with it a collapse of our infrastructure. Nuclear power plant meltdowns along with failed dams would make large swaths of the United States unlivable for generations to come.

Civilization is tissue paper thin and once it is torn can take hundreds of years to rebuild.

Socialism isn’t dying, it’s just now starting to really flex it’s muscles.

The people will indeed opt for socialism. I have faith in their greed and sloth and their appetite for depravity.

“Unfortunately, we are moving into this darkness where more and more people are beginning to realize that government is the number one problem – not Global Warming.”

Government is comprised of and run by people. The problem with government is people.

The problem with the world is people.

The reason people generally want to be left alone is so they can do whatever they want their own way whenever they want sometimes or often regardless of how it effects others.

When they band together in some government form they typically want to control or tell others what to do and how to do everything to their own liking their own way sometimes or often regardless of how it effects others.

Once again, life should be all about doing what is right much more than it is about our individual rights regardless of whoever thinks they are in charge.

Right and wrong that is as defined by the God of the bible. Not by selfish and fickle people.

The sooner more of us that figure that out the better off we’ll all be.

Good luck with that one.

I vote to let Christians control everyone’s behavior except their own.

That would solve all the world’s people problem, except those quarrels that separated Christianity into Catholics, Protestants, Lutherans, Anglicans, Baptists, Quakers, Methodists, Mormons, Episcopalians, Pentecostals, and Maggie-Virtue Evangelicals.

It’s not about controlling everybody else it’s about self controlling our own behavior.

If and when enough people decide to do the right thing on their own because they want to not because they are forced to. A greater majority of the people. Then the tide will turn in our favor in every way.

Like I said, good luck with that one.

Those that choose not to will simply be disappeared. LOL.

from Gallup:

Gallup began asking about the most important problem on a monthly basis in 2001; since then, few other issues have matched or exceeded the 35% currently mentioning the government.

~In the immediate months after the 9/11 attacks, mentions of terrorism topped the list as the most important problem, peaking at 46% in October 2001.

~Mentions of the situation in Iraq as the greatest U.S. problem escalated in early 2007 after President George W. Bush’s announcement of a “surge” in the numbers of American troops sent to the country. The highest percentage naming Iraq as the biggest problem was 38% in February of that year.

~In the year leading up to and after the global financial crisis of 2008, the percentage of Americans naming “the economy” reached record heights for any mention on Gallup’s list, reaching 58% in November 2008.

~Mentions of unemployment/jobs as the greatest problem surpassed those of “the economy” at certain points in the years after the financial crisis, with the percentage naming unemployment as the greatest problem peaking at 39% in September 2011, when President Obama unveiled an ambitious jobs plan at a time of high unemployment.

it seems ‘Global Warming’ hasn’t been on the charts since at least 2001 (confession: I didn’t go looking any further than that. another confession: the ‘Socialism is dying because’ bit coupled with, well, all of the other sentences in this post left me questioning my sanity… maybe I’m just really tired).

Martin Armstrong is losing it when he can’t tell the difference between ‘ought’ and ‘is.’
Sure, socialism ought to die and when government finally collapses, socialism will die. But it’s not dead yet, not by a long shot. There’s a lot of taxes they’ll wring out of us before that happens.

The definition of Socialism is that the State controls the “means of production”. Most jobs in my town are with the town and the local school system (State), the county (State), the state (State), a state college (State), a State lab, and a local hospital (paid for by Medicare/Medicaid/Obamacare, iow State-subsidized). I could also include banks. All of these enterprises are not just going to fold up at the next rough spot; they are going to double-down and hike property taxes some more. We already pay over 2.5%.

Socialism is part of the fourth turning as I have identified and believe. It must get much worse to the point the patriotic citizen is very harmed, enough to move them to action. When they use their vacation days to riot, protest and march then it begins its downfall.

Politicians can claim to raise taxes on the rich, but the rich have the means to shelter their wealth, so they never pay more than they feel comfortable paying. So when the expected revenue doesn’t appear, the next in line is the middle class who get stuck paying for all the gov. welfare programs. This isn’t an unintended consequence. The greatest enemy of big gov. isn’t the rich or the poor, it’s the middle class.

Socialism has already succeeded in what was the American Republic . Thru the confiscatory tax system and the federal reserve banking system the productive have been harnessed and yoked to the state as indentured servants . The extreme poor are trapped in a system that encourages them to remain in some level of depravation the middle are constantly shaken down for more and more while receiving less and less . Then we have the elitist oligarchy or as I prefer to call The Circle Jerk Of Wall Street to K-Street to Capitol Street . The wealthy elites buy Capitol Street thru K-Street from the money laundering system of Wall Street propped up by the Federal Reserve owned and operated by the appointed by the Circle Jerk . As it turns out socialism works great for those at the top of the economic scale thru crony capitalism and those at the bottom of the economic scale thru the welfare gaming system which includes many government employees thru overstaffing 50 to 90% depending on which agency or organization . So what’s left to fleece and shake down that ever shrinking middle class that has been circling the drain for 40 years .
Socialism dying ? I dare say it is just getting on a roll for the masses who now realize how they have been used hoodwinked and ultimately enslaved .
This will end badly , what series of events or actions and reactions will kick it into play is yet to be seen but armored police vehicles running over citizens in the streets like in Venezuela May be coming to a town or city near you .
Look at what happens to a well informed citizen that confronts a government panel directly . He or She will be immediately declared out of order and escorted out by armed government workers and possibly arrested fined and even jailed . Now that’s socialism at its finest in full view and still we stand by and do nothing because the grocery stores are still full .
