Last week, Keith Raniere – known as “Vanguard” by devotees of his sex cult, NXIVM – began trial for seven criminal counts including sex trafficking, forced labor conspiracy, possession of child pornography, and racketeering.
Raniere, who sat at the top of NXIVM’s pyramid organization as the “grand master”, is now the sole defendant of the trial.
Two former members of the cult described methods of manipulation, blackmail, humiliation and deception. One detailed their time as a sex slave within DOS, a secret society within NXIVM, breaking down in tears in the process of testifying.
Further horrid details revealed during the trial expose that DOS members were branded with a cauterizing pen during a process that takes 20 to 30 minutes. Once recruited into DOS, members gave up personal, often embarrassing information about themselves, including compromising images or videos as collateral.
The brand cauterized onto DOS members, sporting Raniere’s initials – “K.R.”
Keith Raniere was the “highest master” of DOS and forced its members, all women, to have sex with him.
The other who gave testimony, Mark Vicente, a senior member within the group, explained NXIVM’s financial workings and rankings – calling the cult’s methods of recruiting women a “horrible evil”.
Vicente, who was the founder of another one of NXIVM’s subgroups – an all-male society, dubbed the “Society of Protectors” – said he felt “bamboozled an honestly stupid” for believing that everything taught in the group was “of best intent”.
Vicente further detailed NXIVM’s ranking system, called the “strike-path”. Starting members were given a white sash to wear before they could move up in the cult until recruiting more participants and enrolling in classes. Next came the yellow sash, where members could apply to be a coach. At the rank of “proctor”, members could only then start earning money and earned a 10% commission for every participant they recruited in.
Vicente also revealed many programs and divisions under the NXIVM banner. According to Vicente, there were “over 60” companies within the cult. Among the groups were “Executive Success Programs” and a women’s only group that went by “Jness”.
Furthermore, it’s been confirmed that Seagram heiress, Clare Bronfman tried to buy the influence of Hillary Clinton in 2008 – as reported by FMShooter in April 2018:
Even more concerning, NXIVM has ties to both Hillary Clinton – and the Clinton Global Initiative.
Per the New York Post in 2007:
Executives and top associates of the Albany-based NXIVM group – along with their family members – donated $29,900 to Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to federal records…
…Group President Nancy Salzman and the Bronfman sisters – are members of Bill’s charitable organization, the Clinton Global Initiative. Membership is by invitation only and requires at least a $15,000 donation per person for one year…
As reported by the New York Post just this week:
“Bronfman funneled thousands of dollars into Clinton’s campaign coffers — far in excess of legal limits to contributions — to ‘curry favor’ with the powerhouse political family, according to Mark Vicente”.
Raniere, who faces life in prison for his charges, operated a manipulative, depraved sex cult since 1998, lurking in the shadows and recruiting unwitting women for his pyramid scheme. The five other co-defendants in the case have all pleaded guilty, some only after prosecutors added child exploitation charges against Raniere based on allegations he had sex with a 15-year-old girl.
One must wonder with the seedy and illicit misdoings of NXIVM spanning for decades, what other innocuous and clandestine operations are happening underneath our noses. What is shrouded in darkness will eventually, always come into light.
Manipulated into having sex? Forced? How were they forced? I need more information.
They are women and they care about being liked, being in with the ‘in-crowd’ and submitting to authority. I’ve read a half dozen accounts by these women and in every case they all tried to explain why they were doing something VOLUNTARILY while their logical mind was screaming at them to stop. Women need protection from the world in the same way children do because they are not able to subordinate their emotional needs to the logical consequences of their choices. I know that’s not a popular opinion, but it’s true. Rainiere knew women very well and he knew exactly how to exploit their needs for his benefit. And in every single case he utilized other women to exploit their own friends.
On the surface this looks like some cult thing, but when you pull back the covers it’s just a realistic look at how women are vulnerable to exploitation because of their slavish attachment to being accepted and popular.
I think Camille Paglia would agree with you, because she’s smart. We’ve heard of the talented tenth. With women it should be something like the acknowledging apportionment – that portion of women (maybe 1/10) who accept not only that women and men are different (they’ll all gladly acknowledge men’s deficiencies) but also that men have some non-physical strengths relative to women. Like being less ruled by their emotions.

When I was a kid I remember a popular question was “If women ran the world what would it be like?” and then the good Lord gave us Sweden. So, unpopular maybe, but tough to argue with nonetheless.
I also have a fair amount of ?’s about this case,including why was a Seagrams heiress brought into the article and why is she not being charged(oh…….,heiress,never mind).I believe that there is a lot being hidden/covered up in this case,and,excepting the child porn charges and a 15 year old potential exploitation not seeing other charges if adults.
They dropped charges on the Seagrams broad? Huh, what a surprise.
According to the picture, the brand has that “illumino-pyramid” shape with the top divided . . . just like the currency stamp; I wonder if that means he is one of “them” . . . . If so, expect him to be found innocent of all charges. For their roles in the set-up against him, all of his former underlings will be hanged. Publicly. And he will live happily ever after in a non-extradition country.
This is a local story here is “capital land” or what I call smallbany, ny. This cult was run out of a commuter neighbor hood called Clifton Park, which is a land of cookie cutter houses and strip malls. It’s full of middle and upper middle class folk, so the hunting grounds were perfect for a creep like this guy. How did he get caught?
some lady on the west coast found out her daughter was involved, and also branded, and she had to raise bloody hell with “lore enforcement” before they finally saw a case they could make their creds on.
If this power mom had not raised a stink about her daughter getting branded, this would still be a thriving cult, with offices in several office parks, it was well funded and looked legit from the outside.
