How does one prove they are a descendant of a slave?
What about me – I’m from the Netherlands – I didn’t participate in slavery. Why should I have to pay? That goes for all the other people, whose relatives immigrated here, after the Civil War. All the Irish / Italians / Mexicans – they shouldn’t have to pay either.
Is this a one time deal? Is there a cutoff date for new births?

All my ancestors got off a boat in the early & late 1800’s . The Irish side dug ditches and fought for the north and have their names on the monument at Gettysburg .
The Italian side got of the boat at 16 and hustled to learn good English and went from black smithing to welding and body & fender repair . I was trained in the shipbuilding industry and worked for and along side many black men . I guess they were benefiting by my white privileged status . He hinted at it but never came out and said it loud, only spoke in code about it. Gabriel Iglesias was critical of Gorge Lopez, he said George was profiting from old Mexican stereotypes. Everybody does it; Richard Pryor, Key and Peele..
Stereotypes are the bread and butter of comedians because everybody is in on the joke. I saw the same thing going on in the above video, blacks making fun of stereotypical blacks. It’s safe comedy – little better than a Stepin Fetchit act – but you have to despise your people to make fun of them, feel superior somehow.
