I was in Portland for a week in the late 90’s. I’m not a fan of cities, but most of my experience with cities are rust belt cities. I thought Portland was pretty as cities go, so many trees everywhere. Too bad the commie’s seem to rule the roost, I’m guessing the city isn’t near as nice as it was twenty years ago? But either way, who wants to live in a place where mobs of Antifa folks can beat people, scare and intimidate people in public and the like? I have younger kids, I would never bring them out in public in a place like that, too risky for incidents to occur. Plus I already wake up angry and disgusted with the world and the way the US is trending, but at least its not in my face where I live. I can take a break from the internet and avoid all this craziness, sometimes its required or I get far too negative.
It’s cloudy and rains a lot there. I wouldn’t worry about it. Portland was once a cool place, sadly that is no longer the case.

Valid question. I live in a place where the population of lunatics is relatively low. Most of LAPD live in my city, and it’s not in LA county. We have never seen a single Antifa here so there is nothing to address.
Having said that, I have plenty of 223 on hand.

Antifa is a communist organization. It is national in impact and while a very small group of people, they are dedicated to the overthrow of the capitalist system. Their roots are in places like Berkley and Portland, there are plenty of other locations where you could certainly confront them, but they are not in my city. I can only go to my city government and complain about something that my city government has control over. I can’t go to Portland, they won’t let me in as I don’t live there. Besides, it’s a really long drive.
So I am happy to deal with things locally. If Antifa showed up here I would do something. The question above is why not do something in your own town? Well, if you don’t have anything to do in your own town there is nothing to be gained by confronting Antifa in your own town.

I eat lunch with my county sheriff almost every Friday. This Alejandro discussed my particular digestive ban on beans and some Latino seasonings, then came back from the kitchen with a fajita platter of shrimp and veal sizzling with some of the most delicious but mild Mexican sauce I’ve ever tasted.
