Jim, both of these quotes today are magnificent. I too was in the streets, and I too am amazed that nobody is protesting like they did over Vietnam. But then, I understand that the difference is that I was going to be sent to Vietnam. Today, they conscript nobody. They send volunteers so no protests.
And I have never seen a more precise description of how we delude ourselves than this one from Caitlin.
