Please donate a few dollars to TBP. I’m gathering up all the deposits from Das Boot since the last “accounting” and hope that inspires at least a few of you to also pony up.
There may be other sites with as open a door to free speech around, but I sincerely doubt you will find one with the high quality of writers and high idealists TBP attracts. The crumbs from the feast attract a few pests and parasites and even trolls, but where else will you find such a feast from which to pick and choose what you read or view?

there are a lot of big names in that first video, I wonder how many that watch that video today are aware of who those people are. I’m an old guy, I recognize most of them.
Not many. And, of those who do? Do they realize the enormous talent and skill those old movie makers put into those choreographed dances?
And then, someone matched up the beat and the steps to the modern song.
It really is a brilliant clip and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
A surprise free concert
Dentist for cleaning so I will gripe later if painful. Lol…
For the last 10 years I have gone for dental hygiene procedures every 3-4 months. Pain is inevitable when subgingival debris accumulates. In the long run, suffering is avoidable if you keep up with prophylactic procedures. You only have to floss the teeth you wish to keep…or your teeth will be fleeced by cold steel and sunshine applied to the roots.
Haha! BEST visit in a year.
New dentist (actually, a rather OLD dentist) who spent most of his career life in Oklahoma. Went to Oklahoma Dentistry School and attended church with Steve Owen and David Boren. He knew the first AWACS commander I had at Tinker, so I didn’t bother trying to impress him with Did Squat. I just paid attention to him and made a few notes. It is always good to know people who’ve made the connection for some reason.
The Hindu think of it as “touching base with one’s karass.” Some people just seem destined to bump into one another here and there across this earth, be it round, oblong or disc-like. They are part of a karass.
When I explained that philosophy to a bunch of hillbillies out here over a half-dozen Natty Lites (if you know what that is, give yourself two points… or pints), they laughed and told me to Kiss their Karass!

That really has quite the addictive beat and the reading of the words creates a strange rhythm of its own.
Are the words available without music? I really can’t read the words for meaning with the music and it makes my eyes hurt to strain to see the words.
I’m a bit whiny this week… travel and doctors annoy me.
