Wanted to include the lyrics but the edit feature did not function… so here they are.

Megaphone marauders beating down my battered door

Master of the soap box gonna shout a little more

Tin Pan Alley tomcat said I’d be a millionaire

I lost sense of time, I didn’t even care

I tried believing

Believing in the goodness of a man

I learned my lesson

He took all I had, turned around and ran

Yeah, man, it’s still a crazy world

I guess some things are never gonna change

Yeah, man, what you gonna do?

Gets harder every day just trying to make it through

It’s true

Maybe Judgement Day is overdue

Walking home alone, I took a trail down through the pines

Serenaded by the song of a world I’d left behind

Songbird singing in a minor key, everything I see reminding me

It’s hard to slow the steady march of time

Has it all been decided?
I worry that I never had a choice

Have we all been misguided?

Just another voice adding to the noise

Yeah, man, it’s still a crazy world

I guess some things are never gonna change

Yeah, man, what you gonna do?

Gets harder every day just trying to make it through

It’s true

Maybe Judgement Day is overdue

Are we just a terrorizing, no-good group of criticizing

Fools racing towards our judgement day?

Hope your nimble, hope you’re quick, hope you clear the candle stick

It’s burning with a holy rolling flame

Are we just an agonizing, no-good group of idolizing

Fools runnin’ ’round without a clue?

Has it always been this way?
Is this how it’s gonna stay?

Is there any way we’ll make it through?

Maybe Judgement Day is overdue

GCP- I’m gonna tow that tune along with me !

I may have misspoke concerning you on the HR thread……the term ‘man of the cloth’ is one that is adverse to my way of thinking. If the ‘men of the cloth’ had the fortitude to speak Truth revealed in the Word, this world would be in far better shape…..but, haha, “Has it all been decided?”

annuit coeptis novus ordo seclorum <<<—

I thought about throwin this tune up over on the Depressed…Defiant thread for Mr. Quinn:

You paid me a compliment on that post which I read and very much appreciate. I’m glad to have made your acquaintance sir ordo. I’m no “man of the cloth”… you have it 100% correct. I am a student.

I wear jeans and T’s… not freaking robes.

Good song, huh? Found in on my local KHYI 95.3 FM station. Kick-ass Texas music! Love the Cash you replied with… ?

Yup-siree GCP,
That’s a winner.
I was surprised to see that they’re form Austin, I would have thought of origins a little less urban-Tx and more “Bible Belt”, not because of the lyrics, but of harmony and style.

Also, I thought weird that some moron compared Jamestown Revival
to Simon and Garfunkel.
Simon and Garfunkel, Jewish boys born in NJ and NY respectively.
