Amazing no one has died after all these mishaps. How the hell is the senior leadership still in place at Boeing? They’re almost as incompetent as the Biden crew.
Why anyone would get on a plane in Africa is beyond me. Blacks do a shitty enough job of maintenance on planes here with some semblance of supervision.
Also, it’s not (just) Boeing that’s the problem. Most of these mishaps are on aircraft that have been in the airline’s possession for many years. This is a failure of maintenance driven by DIE bullshit. I’m really glad I’m done traveling for work.

Boeing died with the McDonald Douglas merger. William Boeing’s legacy was maintained by the fact that upper management was promoted from within. Management was comprised of engineers, QA people, even assembly workers made it up the ladder to management. They understood airplane design and manufacturing processes (and reality).
Enter MD. All the old guard Boeing management were eventually replaced, retired or flat out released. They were replaced with the MD bean counter, accounting, and lawyer culture. You know, the type of people who call someone else to change a flat tire.
The Boeing/MD merger destroyed two companies. MD built some fine aircraft too, the DC series, MD80’s , MD11. MD itself was a merger of McDonnell & Douglas, usually mergers are not very good in the end.
Competent crews would not have allowed the faulty MCAS system to mistrim an aircraft to the extent that it was uncontrollable. The runaway horizonal stabiliizer trim procedure, which goes all the way back to the original 737’s should have been followed, if that would have been done, no crash, period. Proper inpections during assembly and maintenance work avoids stupid and potentially disastrous events, exit door plug won’t go bye-bye in flight.

One other thought on Church authority – In what realm can one declare himself a leader? Legitimate Authority is always passed down, not taken, unless one starts their own separate organization, in which case it is not the original organization.
In a corporation you cannot declare yourself CEO, unless you start the company which is then a unique company, distinct from others.
In any form of legitimate government you cannot declare yourself leader. You must be elected, appointed, etc. Once you have been given authority, you can then delegate your authority to others.
Moses did not declare himself a leader. God appointed him and granted him authority.
Moses then, by the power of God delegated some of his authority to Joshua and then the 70 judges – They did not appoint/annoint themselves with authority.
