The comment about kids not changing but adults changing makes a lot of sense. After all, a lot of adults today never grew up.
Not only have they not grown up, the educational system has failed to teach all the vital lessons that parents and religion use to teach. The state took parenting out of the house and placed it in the hands of public schools. The evolution is over age children teaching children in most cases.
