Top NASA Manager Says the 2024 Moon Landing by Astronauts might not Happen

Speaking before a Congressional subcommittee on Wednesday, 18 September 2019, Kenneth Bowersox, Acting Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations, said NASA is doing everything in its power to meet the deadline set by the White House, but admitted that it might be too short.

“What’s important is that we launch when we’re ready, that we have a successful mission when it launches, and I’m not going to sit here and tell you that just arbitrarily we’re going to make it,” said Bowersox during the meeting. “There’s a lot of risk in making the date, but we want to try to do it.”

The initial plan was to launch the lunar mission – called Artemis after Apollo’s twin sister in Greek mythology – in 2028, but the deadline was eventually moved to 2024 at the urging of the Trump administration.

According to one of the mission’s greatest enthusiasts – the NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, the agency does not have any ground-breaking goals, but wants to engage the Moon as a critical training ground for the greatly anticipated future expeditions to Mars.

Bowersox expressed his appreciation for the goal’s aggressiveness, but emphasised that it might not be viable due to the need to secure funding and solve a whole plethora of technical issues.

The potential prematurity of the mission is exemplified by the continuously postponed debut of the Space Launch System (SLS) – a replacement for the Apollo-era Saturn V rocket – which remains in development to this day, and will undergo testing no earlier than by the end of 2020.

When asked about the reasons behind the delays, a former NASA exploration manager Doug Cooke said engineers often want to try out new technologies and ideas, which may lead to slightly longer periods of preparation.

During the meeting, Cooke also said he would prefer a less complicated mission – one closer to the original Apollo 11 – because, according to him, simply landing astronauts on the Moon is “hard enough as it is”.

Lastly, in response to questions regarding who will be the first to bring humans back to the lunar surface – NASA or a private company, such as SpaceX, Bowersox replied that he would still “bet on us [NASA] – but they might be part of our program”.

I saw a discussion of online games. Someone paid 600,000 dollars for a magic sword.

So, how about NASA go to the moon in Second Life and let LALA Land pay for it.

Do you think the Hubble telescope images are real? Just curious because my “friend” in DC claims they are.

But, that is part of her job… to maintain records and document new technology, supposedly.

Or, to document what someone tells her is new technology.

She says there are “things” in theoretical stages we do not have the capability to operate. But, the people/scientists* will STILL design and provide the means for SOMEONE to make that weapon/device when the ability arises.

The decade of the 20s is rather analogous to the 60s, imho, with Prohibition and rumrunning similar to the mass influx of drug culture that overwhelmed the Great Society LBJ promised.

So, looking back at what happened to our country during the 1920s (Jeckyl Island, National Works programs, Government sanctioned “Separate but Equal” schools and all sorts of “housing projects” to contain and re-educate thousands of immigrants relocating to the United States from war-torn regions of the world.) I have to agree it almost looks as if our demise was planned, beginning at the turn of the 20th century.

Hmmmm…. 1929, 1969, 2019… Every 40 years this mass deception seems to recur on some level. What is it about 40 years that strikes a nerve? Bea? In 40 years, the entire culture and social nature of East Germany was completely changed. They were told they could vote and then they would ask Who they were supposed to vote for. It had been so long since they were able to think for themselves they had to be retaught.

The conditioning doesn’t take more than a SINGLE generation if done thoroughly.

In any other time in history if you made this many correct calls in advance they would consider you some kind of visionary or prophet. Instead they continue to listen to and publicize the same people that are never right.

Not that it’s very hard to make the right call, all you have to do is take the contrarian position to anything that comes out of the mouths of the experts.

If we had gone to the Moon we’d be there now. There’s never been a human advance in any sphere where the entire species just walked away from their accomplishments and the potential for profiting from them for no reason whatsoever.

Except for the single greatest feat ever known in the history of mankind.

Cogitate on that for a moment.

@HSF – I’ve only read & studied up on the moon landing hoax from the periphery. So I don’t claim to know or understand as much as someone who has taken the Deep Dive on the subject. That being said, to my understanding, the moon landing hoax is primarily concerned with the INITIAL moon landing. The one where Neil Armstrong did or did not step onto the moon’s surface for the first time.

Are you saying that ALL six moon landings were also a hoax? Has each moon landing been reviewed and debunked in the same way that the first one has? That seems like a lot of effort for the hoaxsters. Why not just fake the first one, and then come up with reasons why it can’t be done again? Why go to the trouble of faking it five more times?

“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” – Adolph Hitler

You can’t just tell it once. You should know that my now. Just look at the scripted stories in the MSM that are virtually identical no matter which outlet, which local news station, etc. Yes, they were ALL faked.

If we had gone to the Moon we’d be there now.

If we had gone to atomic bombs over enemy cities, we’d be there now.

Don’t try and sell me that MAD kept us safe shit.

Even if nukes could be engineered (they can’t), they would never be built in large numbers. Why? Because they would simply steal all the money instead and deliver highly polished (but empty) bomb casings to highly guarded, secret storage facilities.

If they are, they were tested, mothballed, and promptly replaced with fakes.

Why spend trillions engineering, building, and maintaining them when you can just pound your chest and claim you have 7,000 at undisclosed locations… and you really only have 7… or zero?

Inflating and misrepresenting your forces is FIRST ORDER OF BATTLE.

Follow the money: even when it comes to nukes.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that we’ve been to the moon but I doubt it happened in that 1960s junk they claim to have done it in. It would have to happen in secret in what amounts to break away civilization level technology developed over decades of fleecing trillions of black project money from all the sheeple.

As does the Bible…

Acts 17:26 KJB… “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;”

…though we’ve been attempting to reach the heavens since Gen 11.

We might have gone to the moon and we might go beyond before extinction.

If Team America ™ got to the moon in 3 days in 1969, why did it take Israel and India over a month each on their recent attempts? It’s also pretty amazing that we were able to safely land people on the moon multiple times so long ago when these other nations can’t even get an unmanned probe there in 2019, huh?

Probably due to choices in orbits, propulsion, launching times …
How many times did the Israelis and Indians circle the earth before taking off towards the moon? Did they take a direct-acceleration shortest-time path (I’d bet the Apollo missions did, don’t want to pack any more oxygen / food / supplies than necessary) or a more fuel-economical slower path? Was there time spent verifying equipment / communications / navigation or did they just take off and go hell-for-leather?
LOTS of variables might explain Apollo got there in three days where moderns take a month, not the least of which if you don’t HAVE to race you might not.
