A Witness To The Collapse

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Image result for western civilization collapse

A terrible fear has come over me.  Observing its rate of collapse, I am likely to outlive Western Civilization, or what little remains of it.

British Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn thinks he can get elected prime minister by promising to open the UK’s border to all comers and to house them by seizing houses and office blocks.  This, of course, means a Camp of the Saints moment for Great Britain.  So many Brits are so far gone that Corbyn thinks this is a winning platform.

The current French president and German chancellor, as well as the European Union bosses, hold the same view.  There is to be no Europe. Only Hungary, Italy, and Poland dissent and insist on remaining Hungarian, Polish, and Italian.

Alas, the Democratic Party in the US has the same view as Corbyn.  One of the reasons they want to impeach Trump is that he is, as head of the executive branch, trying against the Democrats’ opposition to enforce the immigration laws of the United States.

The current stock of Democrats are just like the current stock of CEO and boards of directors.  They are short-run focused.  What they can get right now is all that is important.  More money by sending American jobs aboad and hiring foreigners on work visas, by open borders that bring in cheaper labor and immigrant votes for Democrats.  Hello “performance bonuses,” Goodbye America.

But when the short-run lengthens into the long-run, the third world immigrants have the country.  The hatred that Identity Politics, the ideology of the Democratic Party and the American liberal/progressive/left, teaches against white people and the hatred that radical feminists teach against men, implies genocide and total social collapse.  It is happening so rapidly that I believe I am going to watch it happen.

For example:  My September 30 column, “Feminism Has Ruined Women and Damaged Men,” produced many letters from men and women affirming that “you are right on!”  Many said that feminism, once a movement to give women alternatives to marriage and motherhood, has become an ideological attack on men in which even consenual sexual intercourse between husband and wife was rape.

We now have “wife rape” laws which give wives power over their husbands, just as we have child abuse laws that give the child power over the parents and the government power over the family.

Feminism has essentially destroyed the relationship between men and women.  Feminism has made women selfish.  They do what they want to do regardless of its emotional and other effects on the man.  If the man complains, the woman takes it as proof that he is sexist and unsupportive. Women think their vagina lets them do whatever they want to do. Women are told that their power is that men will do anything for sex.  That’s not true.  Except for a few womanizers, what the British called “rakes,” men want loving mutually-supportive relationships. They can’t find them.

In my day homosexuals were non-existent.  We thought it was a myth, like unicorns.  Today homosexuality has exploded.  How do we know that the extraordinary increase in homosexuality is not men giving up on women?

Women are so untrustworthy today that corporations have to pay for insurance policies to protect their male executives from false sexual harassment charges from female employees.  Corporate rules are in place that when a corporate group is on a business trip, the male and female employees must stay in seperate hotels, and that no male employee can go to dinner with a female employee.  The male employees have to attend seminars on how to protect themselves from sexual harrassment charges. I have heard from CEOs and boards about how stupid they were to help women through the “glass ceiling” as the consequence is endless #Me/Too problems that divert the energy of the organization.

Yes, of course, some men get turned on by women and behave inappropriately.  In my day that was handled by a slap.  Apparently, it is only today’s feminist women who can’t keep a man in check.

The House Democrats are conducting an “impeachment investigation” despite the facts that they know they have no evidence of any offence and that there is no possibility that the Senate would convict. The House Democrats know that all they are doing is throwing mud hoping that some will stick on Trump and reduce his chance of reelection.

As for the the charge that a Ukrainian president was told to do a favor in exchange for a payment, the record is crystal clear that it was Biden who gave the Ukrainian president 6 hours to do as he is told or forfeit one billion dollars of US taxpayers’ money.  Biden bragged on it before the Council of Foreign Relations.  The boast is captured on video.  I posted it.  It is all over the Internet. The Ukrainian prosecutor himself gave sworn testimony that he was fired on Biden’s orders.  The prosecutor was investigating a firm from which Biden’s son was collecting huge sums in exchange for his father’s protection of the corrpt firm.  The evidence is clear.

But what do we hear from the media, especially the CNN and NPR whores?  We hear that the charges against Biden are just politics, but that the charges against Trump, unsupported by the evidence, require Trump’s impeachment.

Here we have both the entirety of the Democratic Party and the entirety of the media denying the truth and relying on the endless repetition of lies to convince enough insouciant people to vote the Democrats in.  Once in, the Democrats will adopt Corbyn’s platform, and Americans will have a Camp of the Saints experience.

The US and Great Britain were once the “free nations,” imbued with civil liberty, individual conscience, free speech, Christian moral values, and a rule of law.  But no more.

A British tribunal just fired a British doctor for refusing to call a 6-foot tall bearded man “madam” and condemned the doctor’s “lack of belief in transgenderism” as “incompatible with human dignity and in conflict with the fundamental rights of others.”  https://www.rt.com/uk/470190-transgender-bible-doctor-fired-uk/

In other words, the doctor is not entitled to his own beliefs or opinions because other more highly regarded peoples’ beliefs take precedence over his.

This is increasingly the case throughout the Western World.

If you have wondered about the total disappearance of investigative journalism in the UK and its near disappearance in the US, look no further than this document from the UK Ministry of Defense that lists investigative journalists as threats to UK national security.  https://russia-insider.com/en/society/uk-ministry-war-says-investigative-journalists-among-top-threats-right-there-spies-and

Freedom of the press is now considered inconsistent with national security.

Thus the fates of Julian Assange and Manning are sealed.  As Karen Kwiatkowski recently said, it is time to “Run!”  https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/10/03/the-treatment-of-julian-assange-proves-that-there-is-no-law-moral-conscience-or-civilization-left-in-the-west/

But to where?  It is the same all over the Western world.

You’ve nailed the dilemma and the timing perfectly.
Only the solution is absent.
Individual repentance and faith in Jesus the Messiah.
This sick world must and will fully run it’s course until God’s patience with it, of mankind’s free will choices of sin, is fully exausted.
Then He will intervene in great Judgement and put and end to man’s own self destruction, wipe the slate clean, renew the earth, and start over with those who are truly His.
Come quickly Lord Jesus.

God used the Babylonians to destroy the Jews, then used the Medes and Persians to destroy the Babylonians and later release the Jews.
Obama was right about one thing, and that was America is not a Christian Nation. A remnant maybe.
Try to think of just one democrat politician, or voter for that matter, that believes the Bible is God’s Word.

From God’s chosen to the synagogue of satan.
One can read of God’s presence leaving the temple in the Book of Ezekiel, not to return except when Jesus Christ Himself walked there, who was rejected of course.
The nation of Israel today is just an extension of the US. When Christ does return back to the Mount of Olives, Israel will not be the center of homosexuality as it is today.

The terms “Jew,” Hebrew and Israelite are not interchangeable. Those that claim to be “Jews” today are mostly Khazarian Ashkenazis from the steppes of the Khazar region, which is now the Russian state of Georgia near the Black sea. Israelites, on the other hand, are the true people of the Bible, that are comprised of the thirteen tribes of Israel.
Today they are known as those from Anglo-Saxon, Scandinavian, Germanic and kindred tribes. For those people, it’s most important to learn who you are and even more importantly, who your sworn Khazarian enemy is.

Jesus Christ is the reality.
He created the world, He holds it all together. You owe your next breath to His mercy and grace, and you have the free will to believe that or not.
I might die in the next five minutes from a heart attack, or later at the hands of a benevolent government. But whenever that moment comes I realize that through Jesus there is peace with God The Father.
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” James 4:4

I wrote what is below before reading this to my husband. His response?

“There is no where to run. You make a stand and that’s it.”

My original response?

I think you are correct. We are witnesses to a tragic end to the “ideal” that was once a United Republic of Individual States, each with their own unique character, distinct from surrounding/bordering states.

I seem to remember from history lessons that William Penn moved off to Pennsylvania to get away from the Puritans and invented the Quaker State oil company (though I am being sarcastic, there is truth… Pennzoil made Quaker State Oil until Devon Energy in Oklahoma acquired the brand.) So, at that time, everyone seemed to agree the Pennsylvania Dutch could go be Pennsylvanians without offending the Puritans in Massachusetts.

As a matter of fact, I think most of the 13 original colonies/states were settled to allow different cultural and religious groups to form community of like-minded people agreeing, in social contract/compact, to live peacefully in a “union” of states to protect one another’s rights to live as they chose to live. Are we capable of that sort of social agreement any longer?

I think not… our children are not taught history nor are they imbued with any sense of moral authority for fear of “offending” someone whose beliefs are not in concurrence. If you can’t teach MORAL CODES of behavior without offending someone? That particular “someone” should not be a consideration.

Personal anecdote coming up:

When I was in third grade, my mother took a part-time job as a cashier in a two-cashier grocery in Vanduser, Missouri, 7 miles away from our home: two stop signs, left, then right. She’d told my father she wanted a clothes dryer and he said we couldn’t afford it. He agreed I was old enough to stay in the care of an older sibling about to graduate from high school. So, for a couple of years, until my mother could pay for that clothes dryer, I was a latch-key kid at home with family. (I did prefer folding warm clothes, not crunchy freeze-dried underwear.)

At church that first few months of my mother working outside the home, gasp!, the pastor made it a point to preach a few sermons about the role of women in the home. I was 9 years old and didn’t pay close attention, but I knew he was talking about my mother’s shameful venture into career life checking groceries at the local A&P. I remember worrying about her immortal soul.

That was in 1969.

When I was in sixth grade, Roe versus Wade was ongoing in the public sphere. That same preacher wasn’t happy about that either.

There really were a lot of things that needed changing in that era. However, the direction the changes took due to deflection by “other” forces (sex, drugs, WAR, and rock&roll to name four) took our society down a path from which there was no return. We just didn’t realize what had happened.

When women decided childbirth was a decision instead of a blessing, there was no turning back. I hope to expound on this further but, it is time to winterize cages, pens and garden beds, so it may fall on deaf ears.

Nah… this is more likely our Nineveh or “Jonah moment.”
Our country and civilization is such an affront to a Holy God that we already are/were deserving of full judgment by the Creator of all things. Like Nineveh, we were given a Stay-of-Execution, for a brief period ( 7 years for Nineveh, ours may be the same if a wingnut Demoncrat becomes next potus) but repentance is not in the works.
So the richest, most prosperous nation of antiquity- whom all nations admired and traded with was erased– and so shall it be for the US and Western Culture in general.

PS: It is interesting to already see the revisionism of history taking place. Once the invaders have supplanted native Europeans and American settlers/conquerors from their homelands, their history will also be revised/erased.

The sicknesses will increase until there are negative consequences. A bearded man pretending to be a gal will be hung in a sane country – like Iran. flea,
you’re correct about when hussein came to power,i guess i thought he became dictator when the bathaists took over in the late 60 s–
regarding my “we just have to live with it” comment,i believe that a fellow by the name of carter tried to have a foreign policy based upon human rights, how’d that work out either 4 him or the people he wanted to protect?
answer me this–what would happen if we just completely withdrew from the mideast or the world?
as to domestic politics,i was with you during your revolutionary journey-
the 1st time i ever saw mccain was when he came here to campaign 4 a republican running 4 congress in 92 or 94–i immediately distrusted mccain,no particular reason, just a gut feeling that turned out to be correct–same thing when i met charlie crist at a friends of the nra banquet during the mid 90s when he was the darling of southern conservatism–
by ’98 i was so disillusioned by the republicans that i started going to meetings of the local libertarian party, and registered as a lib in ’99,and ran 4 office a bit later–
i have to say though that i would have been better off listening to what an extremely conservative republican state house member for whom i used to volunteer in his campaigns said to me when i told him that i was becoming a libertarian–“instead of going libertarian you should get all the non crazy libertarians to run for the republican executive committee in this county–if you all can keep your mouths shut about sex & drugs, within a couple of years you could control one of the biggest republican ex comm s in the 4th largest state, which would give you far more power than the entire national libertarian party.”
i tell you all that because i detest most republicans but 3rd parties that do not have a perot type are a losing proposition–
sometimes though we have to choke down our frustration & sense of betrayal & go with the best option–
i detested both mccain & romney but would their scotus picks have voted to uphold gay marriage or obamacare?

That which is not seen, but could potentially be foreseen if not for the trillions spent on warfare and welfare. Man is no different now. Technology has changed but Man has passed through an inordinate number of milestones in his history that were previously viewed as just as significant.

Given the history of breast cancer in my immediate family (as one example), I find it absolutely repugnant that we continue to throw trillions into half-baked wars of murder and mayhem. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we’d have already found a cure for it if govt. hadn’t been confiscating so much capital to fund its war machine.

Who’s to say we couldn’t have completely hardened and updated our entire electrical grid, rebuilt our JIT using more efficient rail, or perfected fusion?

I’m not willing to fix this broken system. I want it to collapse so that better people can pick up the pieces worth anything and have a chance to build a better motor of the world.

I for one know that I can do many, many things far better than what America is currently doing in agriculture and engineering. But I absolutely refuse to use my skills for the benefit of the govt., which does NOT represent the People any longer. I will teach my neighbors and local community. That is as far as I am willing to go until govt. is no longer a lodestone around my neck.

I opt out until I decide it makes sense to opt in. Govt. needs me and people like me…not the other way around.

Flea – what say you go fuck yourself. I said not one fucking word about Iraq/Israel/Jews. What I said was fact.

The fucking Iranians sent their kids and old folks to walk through minefields to clear them, and sent them unarmed up against Iraqi machine gun emplacements. And that was after the Iraqis had pulled back to their own borders.

Re turning a blind eye to what the US does in foreign lands, or even on its own soil – I certainly do not do that. What the US does over there is evil as shit. I have spoken out against it every time. I do not give one shit what Israelis/Jews/Muslims do to each other over there, and I advocate the US and Australia stay the fuck out of it. Always have.

Any nation that will send children through minefields and unarmed to be slaughtered by machine guns is evil as shit. Iran did that, and those fucks are still in power over there.

You can look the facts of i up, you fuckwit.

Re the Indians – they sure as hell were not especially kind hearted. But you whites slaughtered them en masse, too. So you have zero to crow about.

I repeat – go fuck yourself, asshole.

Here is just a quick snppet of some of the facts about the fucking Iranians (Iraqis were not much better):

“The New York Times’ Terence Smith, writing about Iran in 1984, described the use of child soldiers by Iran to clear minefields. Young boys, aged 12-17 years, wore red headbands with the words ‘Sar Allah’ in Farsi (Warriors of God) and small metal keys that the Ayatollah declared were their tickets to Paradise if they were martyred in their mission. Many were sent into battle against Iraqi tanks without any protection and bound by ropes to prevent desertion.

They were the first wave, making the way for Iranian tanks by clearing barbed wire and minefields with their bodies.”

My objection to that particular story is that I have never seen any footage of old women and children charging machine guns or clearing mine fields en mass. That kind of footage would have been to good to pass up for the west. There would have to be footage somewhere. All we have are articles from mainstream western sources. Any rebuttals or counter arguments seem to be non existent on Google which is suspicious. And I shouldn’t have hollered at you and Looey that way.

flea -it was near impossible to get accurate reports from the Iran/Iraq front lines at that time. I have read the stories/interviews of the Iraqi machine gunners, who were entrenched on the Iraqi borders. They said they were attacked wave after wave by unarmed children. They were in tears about it, or so it was reported – that in the end they had to kill those kids, or be overrun by the masses of the kids sent toward them.

And as you might imagine, the Iraqis did some horrible things as well. neither side wanted this out in the world at large. It is horrifying.

I was not there. but based n the many reports and witness statements and images of the kids marching off to war and family statements, I believe it is as was reported. but who knows anything for 100% certain.

The key to what is going on in the world is postmodernism. We live in a time where the belief is that there are no absolutes. There is no right or wrong; just what you believe is right or wrong. Hence, we have the rise in homosexuality and now that they have that well imbued into the psyche of many, its on to legitimizing pedophilia. There is no end to this; until there is an end!

Paul in Romans describes what is happening in the world today quite well.

Romans 1:21-32 New International Version (NIV)

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

For the last 30+ years, there have been people, who were considered “paranoid right-wingers, etc”, who threw their lives away sounding the alarm. It was disregarded, ignored. Now people think this is some all-of-the-sudden occurrence?

What you see today is the result of over a century of slow-motion takeover from within. The “long march through the institutions” is complete. We are in the final stages of that takeover, and people who are just now waking up to it are woefully unprepared for the reality and gravity of it.

The people of Western Civilization, and Americans in particular, have been conditioned to disregard anything that makes them uncomfortable. Most people will never take the time to search out the truth on important matters, and instead rely on their favorite “authority figures” to tell them what to think. Most people’s eyes glaze over when trying to describe to them that what they are seeing play out in front of them has been going on for a long time.

Same thing with Roe, homosexual “marriage”, trans rights, ad infinitum. Time is their weapon and persistence is their very being.

A new term for a new trend in trendism.

(Perhaps, it could replace insouciant?)

Irredentism
Irredentism is any political or popular movement intended to reclaim and reoccupy a lost homeland. As such irredentism tries to justify its territorial claims on the basis of (real or imagined) historic or ethnic affiliations. It is often advocated by nationalist and pan-nationalist movements and has been a feature of identity politics, cultural, and political geography.
