U.S.—New billboards have been popping up in California with the slogan “Move to Texas: We have electricity!” Many see this as a play to lure jobs away from California, as many jobs rely on electricity, especially in the modern economy. This could especially be attractive to jobs in the tech sector.
Roy Rivera, a tech analyst with decades of experience in cutting edge technology, explained that “a lot of tech uses electricity.” He then pointed to a chart showing that tech businesses can be at least 300% more effective when they have power.
California Governor Gavin Newsom was dismissive of Texas’s claims, though. “They’re making false claims of being able to deliver electricity 24/7,” Newsom said, “but it just can’t be done.” Newsom was also dismissive of the Lone Star State’s other claims, such as affordable housing, plenty of water, cheap gas, plastic straws, and not constantly being on fire. “It sounds made up,” said Newsom. “I don’t even think there is a Texas.”
California plans to fight back. It’s now working on a wall to keep people and jobs from leaving California. The planned wall should extend along the entire California border, except for the southern part.

The good things about California are the things that Californians had nothing to do with: the climate, the mountains, the ocean.
Can you believe Texans actually fear that Californians would move there? Those cow-tipping stump jumpers wish we’d go over there and marry their sisters to improve the gene pool. You know why they wear cowboy boots? To put the sheep legs in them so they’ll stay still. They can just cut off that part east of the Nueces and give it to Louisiana. Of course we’ll keep San Antone, they got some hot little redheads there.
Yeah, but you got some bad elements in CA: San Fran: ground zero for satanism and homoism. Hollyweird: (((satanism+homoism))). Also, Jackson Browne.
Not enough bait, keep trying.
Texas doesn’t need to lure Californians. Too many are moving there uninvited.
The leper colony known as Austin is more than I can stomach.
HaHa! Wait til they find out where Texas gets its power from!

When I saw the “Move to Texas” sign with the California background I knew it was all a lie.
You California fuckers best steer clear of Texas.
Y’all ain’t wanted here!
Fuck you, you half-stepping homo, we’ll go there if we want to, we just don’t want to.
That’s funny, but I don’t think you’re allowed to type “homo” in California.
Of course they type’ homo’ in California, it’s a mandate and requirement.
Related and true, China is setting up the largest bitcoin mining center in the world in Texas, in part due to excellent deal for electricity.

Is that good or bad?
Perplexing for sure.
Let us hope that it doesn’t use fertilizer for fuel. Back in 2013 there was a massive explosion at a fertilizer plant in West Texas. Fifteen people died. Then again, Texas City had one of the worst explosions in the history of the nation, 1947. There were two cargo ships being loaded with fertilizer, the one exploded and took out the city. The other was towed out to sea, thank God for that.
Also in Texas, the New London explosion in 1937, the worst mass casualties in a school caused by a natural gas explosion, over 400 died. The reason natural gas smells like rotten eggs is legislation written after the explosion mandating that odor be added to allow for gas leak detection.

Bad… Don’t need more furriners moving to Texas, especially knotheads like this Chinese Rexall Ranger…really wonder where that electricity is coming from. No hydroelectrics in the area, it would either be coal or gas fired plants generating the electricity. They’d almost have to have their own power plant from what I’ve read about bitcoin mining.
We Texans will, however, check you at the border. No entry unless armed. I mean, doesn’t take much, a little .22 boltie will suffice–but you’ve got to have something. Otherwise, we put you to work in the dung pits.
I know a guy who moved to DFW for a couple years before moving back to MN for family reasons. I’ve never spent much time in Texas. He explained it to me this way: instead of following the left-wing MN strategy of never enlarging highways in a misbegotten attempt to force people to ride stupid choo-choos, Texas actually builds their highways wide enough to accommodate the reality that people like to drive cars. What a novel idea: dealing with the world as it is, rather than trying to force people to conform to a libtard vision of Utopia. The skiing in Texas may not be optimal, but for what you save in income tax, you can fly to Utah a couple times a year.
Californians, leave your blue state, socialist opinions at Califonia’s border.
With that out of the way, there’s 900 linear miles to play with.
We don’t need any hippies, homeless or any mutants from Commiefornia. We’re full. Stay home and reap what you sowed.
The problem with Californians is that ostensibly they leave California for greener pastures and then they drag the same idiotic belief system and wretched world view and then pollute that place to where they moved to escape California. Morons.
Im a kalifornia native. I have watched it go from paradise to chit-hole. While I may be the last conservative here, you are right. The idiot liberals vote for this crap, find they don’t like it, move to another state and vote for it again. Nothing more stupid than a liberal.
The Antelope Valley has always been conservative voting. Until recently. We got invaded by the LA crowd in the last 10 years. Suddenly, the main thoroughfares are jammed with cars. If devil may care speeders can be called liberals, they are uber-libs. What I mean is that they are selfish bastards that think they own the road and get pissed off if you delay them a microsecond from getting to the stop light.
Be very careful Texas and any other state thinking about this. It is too dangerous. The chances are too high that the disease of liberalism is contained in the transplants. A poison apple.
Said it before but bears repeating- as screwed up as California is, and it’s PLENTY screwed up, more people voted for Trump in California than any other state except Texas.
