At first I couldn’t believe my eyes. But then I realized I’ve been to central Ohio and that dude is probably busy as hell. This time of year, there’s a haunted house or barn or maze or hayride like every 30 feet. Dude will be putting in overtime this month.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I was traveling again after a long hiatus from the road, I started seeing the Walmart folks everywhere.
I began to feel like I wore a set of those eyeglasses from that episode of Twilight Zone. Or was that “They Live” original? Some expert or another should be along to correct me.
I guess what I am saying is this: Five Years ago, I looked at the Walmart Freaks and laughed. Now that they are multiplying and spreading (literally, figuratively and physically) to all of the Dollar General stores near you (they pop up everywhere! One is located at Patton Junction now! https://stores.dollargeneral.com/mo/patton/16317/), the pictures are not so damn funny.
But, I don’t go to Walmart any more. They are part of the Nanny Estate now.
I know what you mean. Years ago when the People of Walmart site was relatively new, it was hilarious to look at the pics. Those freaks seemed to be a minuscule portion of the populace, so rare that it was amusing. But now you see these types of people not just at Walmart but all over the place. I was at my local grocery store not long ago at 7am and some old guy was shopping dressed in a tube top, mini skirt, and high heels. Just letting his freak flag fly so all the world could admire him.
Yeah, they’re breeding like roaches in FSA areas.
That reminds me of a screenshot taken of a (twitter?) comment; where the person said they preferred shopping at Dollar General so they wouldn’t have to dress up the way they had to for Walmart.
