That would suck. Just a cartoon, but gives me the willies. Had an MRI on my shoulder – stuffed tight in a frigging tube, with no way to get out if power fails or the zombies come. Arms by your side and no way to raise them. They gave me an emergency button to press if I needed to. I made it twenty minutes, then started to press like mad. “You are almost finished – just another five minutes” said the radiographer sweetly. “Get me out of this motherfucker and I mean right the fuck now” I said less sweetly. She did, but then I really had at her. How dare she do that?stupid bitch. I was not a happy camper. She will think twice before hesitating getting a person having a claustrophobic attack out of that machine.
Not good with heights, either. Fine in planes, but not good with high balconies. There is a reason God made babies with a grab reflex. I have never lost mine.
You lasted probably twice as long as I would have. Claustrophobia–the gag reflex of the whole body. Folks who do not suffer the malady have no idea and think the response can just be laughed off. They are assholes.

No thanks, on roller coasters, air balloons, sky diving, etc.
Hell, me & the gal pal took an elevator up a high rise, where one side faces the riverfront of a well know shitty that boarders Windsor, Ontario. I had to turn and face the elevator doors. Felt too squeamish.
As for tight spaces, it took all I had to stave off a panic attack and bolt to the surface, during a coldwater submersion to attain dive certification.
Plenty of open water, but envelopment down deep such as that was unnerving.
And bolting to the top with an aqualung is dangerous.
I never dove again after certification.
But I love swimming. Go figure.
I really miss Gary’s work. He is supposed to be returning but not quite yet. My favorite was the two sharks talking about a diver below them and the comment was: Don’t eat the hard thing on the back…….they make you fart.
