At latest count, 70 of 95 VA counties have passed Pro 2Amendment sanctuary city/county resolutions or legislation.
This week Virginia Governor Northam made it clear there will be “consequences” if gun control laws are not enforced. Incidentally, Northam also supports the murder of a child AFTER he or she is born. He calls it abortion.
Ironically, any law enforcement “consequences” would have to be handled by….law enforcement. And at least one law enforcement official–Culpeper County VA, Sheriff Scott Jenkins–says he will “deputize thousands” to defend gun rights, should new gun controls be instituted.
In 2013 I moved to a rural area of North Carolina to build a modest farm and I mailed this pamphlet below with a letter to my County Sheriff.

In the letter I introduced myself, and asked if I could meet the Sheriff for lunch at a restaurant of his choice, at a day, and time of his choice for a meal on me. I told him I wanted to discuss the pamphlet and his views on the contents. I made clear in the letter my support for the 2nd Amendment and I wanted to understand where he stood.

However, I received regular letters from him over the years asking for donations for his re-election. My response to him was:

Recently he has been indicted and removed from office.
Considering what is now going on in Virginia and soon ‘there will be a new Sheriff in town’ I’m going to make another run at the new Sheriff.
As soon as the new Sheriff is elected or installed, I’m taking a fruit/candy basket to the Sheriff’s Office with half a dozen copies of the pamphlet to pass out among the Deputies, one for the Sheriff, and another invitation to lunch to meet and discuss his/her stance on the booklet and the 2nd Amendment. If we are on the same page, I will support America’s Last Hope with my vote and my money.
I want the Sheriff to know if and when he ever needs civilian ‘Deputies’ to back up our County becoming a Pro 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County, I would like to volunteer and be considered.

Interesting, that the Virginia Governor’s office is in “The Patrick Henry Building”. The third, fourth, and fifth floors are for the Governor, his Staff, and the General Assembly Staff.

I really believe those of us who will actually do something, must reach out to the County Sheriffs. They are our last hope, and I’m going to make another run at my new one.
If my county ever goes Gun Sanctuary, and if my Sheriff ever deputizes citizens, to stand against the Constitutional destroyers, I want to stand in that gap.

Good post Mark, I have met Sheriff Mack multiple times and spoke with him personally on these very issues. Unfortunately few think like him anymore and when push comes to shove most LEO will cave to State and Federal demands because that is where they receive the bulk of their funding.

This issue is one reason I got involved with Oath Keepers after Obama was elected. They reach out to LEO’s and Sheriff Mack is a supporter of their efforts.

Thanks Mark, I couldn’t agree more. No way am I going anywhere either, not no way. I served also but would rather not get into that here. I stirred the pot a bunch in my county when obama was pres., which led to my meetings with Sheriff Mack, certain that got me on that list of 8 million. I have been asked by more locals than I can count to run for Sheriff but I just can’t see that happening at this point; I know a Sheriff can’t be a Sheriff anymore, it’s all changed. I don’t share any of that as being puffed up or arrogant because no truth in that; pants one leg at a time. All hell is going to break loose in this country, I know it and ain’t a darn thing I can do about it accept be prepared spiritually and physically to the best of my ability.
My dear wife is on board and she can punch a coyotes time card at 400 yards, not too shabby for a lady! I am teaching the grandsons everything I know while there is still time. I carry my lever gun with me every day on the farm and in town because I am old school but when it gets ugly, the other stuff comes out. I was shooting 800 yards at the range recently and an “expert marksman” from Fort Wood (there is a Marine battalion there) showed up to take a look see. Nice young man, he asked me a host of questions and bottom line is he couldn’t hit a bull in the butt with a base fiddle, darn they have gutted our military; head down, grumbling, shaking my head.
I shouldn’t be rattling about this, but I simply can’t take it anymore. I am ticked off, I have watched this country go to hell in a hand basket, stupid little queers running around here in pajamas and pink hair and grown men acting like a bunch of hen pecked pansies. I fear these lefties are going to take it all the way and when the fat lady sings, I have every intention of helping pull the house down around their traitorous heads. The right to own and bear arms goes hand and hand with the right to life. It is impossible to have a right to life, unless you simultainusly have the right to protect that life by having a right to own firearms.
At the point where government removes the right to firearms, they are removing your right to life.
Sherriffs nationwide should support the people in this issue, as Sherriffs are the only legitimate LEO in America. If they do not support the rights of American Citizens they should be voted out.
They are the only LEO’s who are directly elected and directly accountable to the people.
All other LEO’s work under only color of law and are not legitimate LEO’s. All Federal appointed LEO such as FBI and ATF need to be disbanded as they are illigitimate and unconstitutional. No where in the Constitution does the Federal Government gain the authority to create Law Enforcement which is unaccountable and therfore out of the control of the people.

I am fortunate enough to get a sit down dinner with ours in Jan. We are fringe red, next to deep blue Denver.
I was once a Reserve Deputy in Illinois. I carried guns in Shitcago and anywhere else I wanted as I was a real, sworn officer with all the rights, duties, etc. This did not sit well with our 100K per year State Police types and their union raised so much hell that there are no old time Sheriff’s Posse organizations left. Why? Because it was discovered that every county with an active reserve deputy association had lower crime rates and the State Police did not need as many troopers in the districts where those counties were located.
Appeals to authority are not the answer. The local sheriff isn’t going to do anything.
So you better get organized, and prepare to do it yourselves.
This is a good thread to re-post this, and why we absolutely have to make the 2nd Amendment a red line. You can stand as an armed American now or die as an unarmed victim sometime later. If they take our guns – they will take everything else, including our lives. It’s called history.

that’s obsolete. the real red line is personal, financial, and economic independence, and that line was crossed long ago. given that we have no final ownership or control or asportation of the electronic money we use to obtain housing, water, food, and fuel, the second amendment doesn’t mean much.

If you can’t stand in front of housing, water, food, fuel etc, with your family, neighbors, tribe, community, unit, state, region (or future enclave) with serious weapons in your hands you will be over-run by those that have the weapons, and everything (including your women) will be taken from you. you’ll turn them in. because those who would confiscate your weapons want you out of the way, nothing more and nothing less. by turning off your financials and leaving you unable to function in the modern world they achieve that aim. at that point, whether you turn in your weapons or not is completely irrelevant to them. you can shoot the bureaucrats or blow up the ATMs or rob grocery stores all day long for all they care, it will not touch them. in their eyes, and in modern world reality, you will be dead already and there will be nothing you can do about it. now of course if you prostrate yourself before them and offer up your weapons as penance these people will have an interest in retaining you as a productive member of their society – but only if and as and until you so prostrate yourself. but whether you do or don’t, you can’t touch them or their lives or their power.

1968: The Gun Control Act of 1968 comes from Jxxish Rep. Emanuel Celler’s House bill H.R. 17735. It expands legislation already attempted by the non-Jxxish Sen. Thomas Dodd. America’s biggest and most far-reaching gun law came from a Jxx.
1988: Senate bill S. 1523 is sponsored by Jxxish Senator Howard Metzenbaum. It proposes legislation turning every violation of the Gun Control Act of 1968 into a RICO predicate offense, allowing a gun owner to be charged with federal racketeering offenses.
1988: Senator Metzenbaum co-sponsors a bill — S. 2180 — to ban, or limit/restrict, so-called “plastic guns.”
1990: Jxxish Senator Herbert Kohl introduces bill S.2070, the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, which bans gun possession in a school zone. The law will later be struck down in court as unconstitutional.
1993: Senate bill S.653 is sponsored by Sen. Howard Metzenbaum. It bans specific semiautomatic rifles, but also gives the Secretary of the Treasury the power to add any semiautomatic firearm to the list at a later date.
February, 1994: The Brady Law, which requires waiting periods to buy handguns, becomes effective. Senator Metzenbaum wrote the Brady Bill. Metzenbaum sponsored the bill in the Senate. The sponsor of the bill in the House was Jxxish Rep. Charles Schumer.
1994: Senator Metzenbaum introduces S.1878, the Gun Violence Prevention Act of 1994, aka “Brady II.” Rep. Schumer sponsored “Brady II” sister legislation [H.R. 1321] in the U.S. House of Representatives.
September, 1994: The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 goes into effect, including a provision that bans the manufacture and possession of semiautomatic rifles described as “assault weapons.” [Note: true assault weapons are fully automatic, not semiautomatic]. That gun-ban provision was authored in the Senate by Jxxish Senator Dianne Feinstein and authored in the House by Congressman Schumer.
1995: Jxxish Senators Kohl, Specter, Feinstein, Lautenberg and others introduce the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1995, an amended version of the 1990 school-zone law which was struck down in court as being unconstitutional.
February 1995: Sen. Dianne Feinstein announces her goal of “…an outright ban [of all firearms], picking up every one of them — Mr. and Mrs. America turn ’em all in.…”
September, 1996: The Lautenberg Domestic Confiscation provision becomes law. It is part of a larger omnibus appropriations bill. It was sponsored by Jxxish Senator Frank Lautenberg. It bans people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from ever owning a gun.
1997: Senate bill S. 54, the Federal Gang Violence Act of 1997, proposes much harsher sentences for people violating minor gun laws, including mandatory prison sentences and forfeiture of property. It was introduced by Dianne Feinstein and a non-Jxxish Senator [Hatch], among others. It returns the idea of turning every violation of the Gun Control Act of 1968 into a RICO predicate offense.
January, 1999: Jxxish Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.193, the American Handgun Standards Act of 1999.
January, 1999: Senator Kohl introduces bill S.149, the Child Safety Lock Act of 1999. It would to require a child safety lock in connection with transfer of a handgun.
February, 1999: Senator Frank Lautenberg introduces bill S.407, the Stop Gun Trafficking Act of 1999.
February, 1999: Senator Lautenberg introduces S.443, the Gun Show Accountability Act of 1999.
March, 1999: Senator Lautenberg introduces bill S.560, the Gun Industry Accountability Act of 1999.
March, 1999: Senator Feinstein introduces bill S.594, the Large Capacity Ammunition Magazine Import Ban Act of 1999.
May, 2000: Senate bill S. 2515, Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2000, is submitted by Senators Feinstein, Senator Barbara Boxer, Sen. Lautenberg and Sen. Schumer. It is a plan for a national firearms licensing system.
January, 2001: Senate bill S.25, Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2001, is sponsored by Feinstein, Schumer, and Boxer. It is a nation-wide gun registration plan [apparently there were two versions of that Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act bill].
May, 2003: Senators Feinstein, Schumer, Boxer and others introduce legislation that would reauthorize the 1994 federal assault weapons ban, and, close a loophole in the law that allows large-capacity ammunition magazines to be imported into the U.S. The ban is scheduled to expire in September, 2004.
October, 2003: Senators Feinstein, Lautenberg, Levin [also Jxxish] and Schumer co-sponsor bill S.1774, designed to stop the sunset [ending] of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988.
March, 2005: Senator Lautenberg introduces bill S.645, “to reinstate the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act,” in other words, to reinstate the 1994 assault-rifle ban [also known as the “Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994″] which expired in late 2004.
March, 2005: Senator Feinstein introduces bill S.620, “to reinstate the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act,” in other words, to reinstate the 1994 assault-rifle ban [also known as the “Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994″] which expired in late 2004.
July, 2005: Senator Dianne Feinstein introduces bill S.A.1621 – Fifty-Caliber Sniper Weapons. This amendment would convert all .50 BMG firearms to NFA weapons.
July, 2005: Senator Dianne Feinstein introduces bill S.A.1622 – Fifty-Caliber Exclusion to S.397. This amendment would modify S.397 to allow suits when the firearm involved was a .50 caliber weapon.
July, 2005: Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.A.1633 – BATFE Safety Standards. This amendment allows law suits to continue/be brought if the product did not meet the safety standards as defined by the BATFE.
July, 2005: Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.A.1634 – ‘Sporting Use’ on Domestic Handguns. Applying ’sporting use’ clause requirements to domestic handguns could, almost completely, dry up the handgun availability in the United States.
November 2017: Senator Dianne Feinstein introduces “Assault Weapon Ban of 2017,” S. 2095, the most far-reaching gun gun ban ever introduced in the US Knesset…er, Congress. Among the cunningly expansive definitions of “assault weapon,” the definition of pistol grip even implicates traditional wooden hunting rifle stocks. Shortly after introducing her ban, she leaked classified information and, when exposed, blamed her crime on “slow mental facilities” [sic] due to a cold.
March 2018: U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz introduces Ammunition Background Check Act of 2018
January 2019: Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn) introduce S.66 “Assault Weapon Ban of 2019,” co-sponsors include Senators Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

US Army Major Nidal Hasan killed thirteen and wounded 32 while standing on a desk yelling Allah Akhbar and, most recently, we had a Saudi fella shooting up some folk and there are other similar events that happen caused by folk of similar ilk and they get no air time because…diversity…. The troops aren’t allowed to carry arms, they’d be at a real disadvantage should someone armed go against them.

but as far as fighting goes, I asked a combat-experienced marine about that very issue – would infantry units turn against americans? he thought about if for ten minutes and finally answered, “half would, half would not.” and that’s combat units, populated mostly by americans who see themselves as citizens. most other units, populated by new/non/anti-citizen personnel who are loyal only to their paychecks and their race, will have higher official compliance rates. this whole “the military is with us” thing is not going to go the way the fictional stories suggest.

in your particular case it matters even less than I said, because if this goes down then the soldiers you’re talking to will not be brought home but will be left there.
When you go in to dispute this you will be handcuffed nicely, told for your protection, like a jew on a train and that this matter will be resolved. I have given this to a close friend, and my brother -in-law. They both enjoyed it, my buddy Chet read it when he was 70 and said it really impacted him.
Just read it with an open heart and ask God for understanding, it’s not complicated. Forget about all the different denominations, sects, cults…and all their extra crap and scripture out of context. Work it out with your Creator, its between you and him anyway.
It is also a video series on TV that is fantastic as well.

Why “other than the Bible”? It’s that very mindset which has brought the world to the position it’s in. I couldn’t provide another book. It’s the Bible or nothing. Give it the hardest most thorough scrutiny you can muster; try to prove it false with all your might. It is the only book which stands unfailingly. Read Romans… again and again and again. Until you get it.
“BUT NOW”… find every occurrence. Find truth. It’s right there in a KJB for any and all to see.

I agree the Bible is the book, the source, the word, but sometimes having it broken down by a study Bible, a commentary, a book like Dr. Missler’s is an excellent foundation for someone just getting started. I know all three of those, with time and diligence helped me.

Taxing the shit out of, or make a health/environmental hazard, out of the materials to make the cartridges? Federally deputizing all the dazzling urbanites to confiscate our arms, not caring whether or not they get lead poisoning? Work their way confiscating from the liberal enclaves in each state and slowly expand outwards? Isolate the areas that are strongly pro-2A, re: Appalachia, and cut these areas off economically and food/utilities? I’m doing what little I can with Sheriff Smith in Colorado, but I fear an end-around or a reach-around…

These guys are headquarted very close to me and I know them very well, they would sell their own soul for a dollar. I have been inside the facility and it is MASSIVE and they are cranking out these mobile jails like you cannot imagine. They are located way out in the country at the end of a dirt road so few can see just what is going on. I have had several local men ask me what do I think these trailers are for, everyone agrees that it’s not for overcrowded jails (just too many being produced.) You can make up your own mind.
Was discussing this with a friend who said it’s a test to see what the reaction would be before moving on to other states, a trial balloon of sorts.

Which I think THEY know/knew already . . . and having been “reassured”, they are now, I think, preparing an alternate course of action. An FF, probably, not because it will work but because it will distract people for a few weeks while some new virus or exotic bacteria starts making the rounds.
Only way to confiscate guns from a disobedient populace without also destroying the infrastructure and other “assets” (or having such destroyed by the “dissidents”) is to ignore the guns altogether and reduce the number of people who can wield them.
Is an ugly scenario, but as the Japanese recognized in WWII, there is, indeed, a gun behind every blade of grass. The Japanese, at the time, did not have the means to mow the grass, so to speak, but today, the satanic godlet bastards do.
