One thing that you can count on in life is that things are going to change. And these days the pace of change in America is absolutely breathtaking. Our culture is in the process of being radically transformed, and the direction of that change has not altered very much at all no matter which political party has been in power in Washington. Many of the values that are now embraced by a solid majority of the population run directly counter to the values that once dominated our society, but only a small minority of Americans seem alarmed by that fact. It appears to be exceedingly unlikely that there will be any deviating from the path that our nation has chosen, because at this point the American people seem quite satisfied with the dramatic “progress” that is taking place.
So what do you think?

As you ponder that question, here are 10 examples for you to consider that show how dramatically the U.S. has changed as we approach 2020…
#1 The ACLU has started a campaign to make tampons available in all men’s restrooms across America…
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is calling for men’s restrooms to include tampons in order to prevent discrimination against “every person who menstruates.”
“While free menstrual products are not uniformly provided in women’s restrooms, they are almost never available in men’s restrooms, even for pay,” the group said in a statement Tuesday.
#2 Senseless violence is on the rise all over the country. On Sunday, we witnessed the worst mass shooting in the city of Chicago “since at least 2013”…
Chicago police are questioning a person of interest after 13 people were wounded, four of them critically, during a shooting inside a memorial gathering early Sunday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.
More people were wounded in the shooting than at any other in the city since at least 2013, when 13 people were shot in Back of the Yards, according to data gathered by the Tribune.
#3 It has been another banner year for homicides in the Baltimore area, and 7 more people were shot outside of a hookah lounge very early on Sunday morning…

A man has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for burning an LGBTQ flag that was flying at a church in central Iowa.
Adolfo Martinez, 30, of Ames, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years for the hate crime of arson, as well as a year for the reckless use of explosives or fire, and 30 days for harassment. The sentences are to be served consecutively, Story County court records show.

#10 30 years ago, about two-thirds of the population of the country attended church services at least somewhat regularly. But today, only about one-third of all Americans say that they attend church services regularly…
About one-third of Americans now say they worship weekly and two-thirds say they rarely or never attend a service.
The decline in attendance is real. The northern states are seeing much more decline than southern states.
Of course the examples I have just shared with you are just the tip of the iceberg.
In America today, the suicide rate is at an all-time high, we are fighting the worst drug crisis in our history, according to the CDC more than 110 million Americans have an STD, and we have the highest percentage of children living with a single parent of any nation in the entire world.
I would love to hear someone out there try to make a coherent case that America is actually moving in the right direction, because up to this point I have been completely unable to find anyone that can make the other side of the argument.
And that is because it has become glaringly obvious that we are in the process of committing national suicide.
The change that our country needs is not going to happen in Washington.
What we really need is a fundamental change of direction in our hearts, because it is in our hearts where the real problem is festering.

Well, some are following the fast track to hell BB, but what can we do about it? God always has His remnant.
That remnant today is the body of Christ. We have a simple task.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 KJB… “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
We have been given the ministry of reconciliation. We are to communicate the message from God that He has, for the time being, reconciled Himself to the world; and that, in turn, the world (one individual at a time) should seriously consider reconciling themselves back to God by realizing they are lost, hell bound and in desperate need of a Savior, Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price for our sin that we wouldn’t have to.

While I agree with you it is my opinion that we are living in the days of Noah so we in Christ have to build our own Ark and wait for the flood of confusion of thought drowning the population to recede before building the New Jerusalem.

Progressives promote anything that is bad for a person/nation and abhor that which is good. As the nation’s budget has increased, our self-esteem and self-dependence has decreased.
# 11 – 63 million citizens voted for a Socialist presidential candidate that advocated all 10 of these. Now they want a coup at any cost to the country.
I think most or all of these problems are related to cheap credit. If we lived in a world where you had to work for a living, these “accomplishments” would be much harder to achieve.
If we didn’t give free stuff to people who produce nothing of value, these “accomplishments” wouldn’t exist.
If we didn’t allow illegals here, these “accomplishments” wouldn’t exist.
Finally, if we didn’t reward indigent people who can’t feed or take care of themselves for getting pregnant, these “accomplishments” wouldn’t exist.
Without cheap credit to cover up the actual costs, I think millions of otherwise useless people wouldn’t exist. That is one serious burden we will have to digest when the system fails in the near future. Millions of useless eaters won’t have a chair when the music stops. Millions more useless communists and unicorns won’t have a chair when the music stops, either. Without free money to throw at the problem, we will see millions of useless people demanding support we can no longer provide. Unless we truck them out to the farms to work for a living (a massive irony on the average ghetto dweller if you ask me), there will probably be no way to support their pointless existence.
Thinking about it, I can’t help lamenting the fact we have no real predators, aside from disease. Most of the time, when a population gets out of control, some natural predator moves in to correct the imbalance. Wolves, coyotes, cats, sharks, spiders, etc all do their part to keep prey in balance. All we got is venereal disease and TB and ebola doing the job, and they’re not very efficient.
Modern day locusts are swarming this rich country. They are eating everything. When they are finished the useless eaters will die.
Have Faith. This will pass and the survivors will plant again.
In the final analysis, it is the normal course of action to be taken by the nation’s constituents to remove those who have been deemed clinically insane from their positions of authority. If they are not being removed, one has to then question the sanity of the constituents that allows this madness to continue. Looking at the state of this nation, it appears that the latter has been proven to be the case.
The face of this nation has been altered by the change-agents, those who are only here to fulfill their own demented fantasies of becoming kings over a nation of slaves. Identify the change-agents and you have discovered the key to stopping the spread of this mass insanity.

Crawfisher- absolutely correct. The right has a sense that things are terminal but no galvanizing central idea or figure to rally around.
Who will inflame the passions, get people motivated with a direction, a certain goal to be attained.

Gloriously Deplorable Paul – I look at it differently. We are part of the biosphere. The biosphere is a thin layer of organic life covering the crust of the earth and in the oceans. It defy’s the second law of thermodynamics because instead of running down it continues to increase in volume by reproduction. A signature feature of life is that everything eats each other.

It is the biosphere that motivates the mindless useless eaters to do what they are doing; that is, to eat up everything around them; like locusts. It is a sub-conscious motivation.
In the biosphere natural man; that is, homo sapiens, is at the top of the food chain. His first responsibility is to pro-create thus providing food. But being homo sapiens we have avoided being eaten by our craftiness.
But due to mindlessness of many in our species, they have become useless eaters while failing to manage the organic resources, and as a result the available food will run out around them and they will die. There bodies will dissolve back into the soil and provide nutrients for vegetative life. It is the story every year of the rabbits and coyotes.
The ones waiting to be shown the way are few in number. These are the ones with a developed soul and want out of the cycle of life involved with eating and being eaten.
This is what the esoteric meaning of religion is all about.

The destructive hand of government has touched and influenced EVERY ONE of those changes.
And the shooting in Chicago happened at a memorial celebration. Who were they memorializing? A useless piece of shit that was righteously killed by a concealed carry owner when the POS attempted to rob him at gunpoint. Sad that more of these celebrants didn’t die, as a good number of them are probably just as much of a pestilence on society as the loser they were memorializing.

Isn’t single parenthood the largest predictor of poverty? So that the majority of these children are destined to repeat the cycle themselves, constraining their own progeny to poverty.
What a broken mess.
I think it depends on how it happened (bailed on mom, divorce, death of parent, etc.) and how early into the childhood it happened. I think it also depends a lot on the character of the parent that raised the child/children. But then that applies to single and dual parent households as well. The more the welfare state bails out these single parents, versus them showing the character of self-reliance to their children, the worse the outcomes will ALWAYS be.
You are right Maggie– the ( often hidden and never talked about) facts/stats are in and it’s not a pretty picture ( although foreseeable for anyone with a brain.) We now our in the 3rd gen of welfare kids since the Welfare Act–and what they have discovered is an embedded sickness, 90+% of kids that grew up on welfare end up on welfare for varying periods of their lives. Self-perpetuating. Welfare queens have kids with “baby daddies”.. the kids learn what they see and that is that govt is their daddy/provider, that they are “owed” these entitlements, and then are taught “life skills” of how to game the system and play their victim cards— then they will pass this knowledge forward to their bastard kids.
But the gaming of the system expanded when the Americans with Disabilities Act created a whole new set of rules.
And a whole new culture of dependency.
Who thinks the “government” should pay a disabled kid cradle to grave?
