We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus. We moved VERY early to close borders to certain areas, which was a Godsend. V.P. is doing a great job. The Fake News Media is doing everything possible to make us look bad. Sad!

I’ve spoken to a few Dr.s and they say it is no big deal.
Does the truth exist?
The whole damn thing is rather surreal, isn’t it? Has anyone else made the Baghdad Bob reference?
What have I missed? I feel as the whole country is going start Westering again like Jack London talked about.

Doctors can be dumb.
Sometimes. But sometimes also they get brainwashed by the System. My dad was a doctor, and his “cure” for pretty much everything was “put a cold cloth on it”. I got mumps as a kid, and a couple of those red-spot diseases (was it measles? rubella? chicken pox?). People are shocked when I say I don’t know (dad didn’t care) but, to paraphrase HRC, at this point, really, what difference does it make?

No politician is going to make the right decision in this circumstance.
Let’s assume a president decides to do the cautious thing and shuts down travel. That turns out to be the right decision and the virus peters out. In other words, he succeeds at stopping the virus. But the consequence is the economy crashes resulting in a recession or depression.
Now what do you think his political opponents would say. Of course, he crashed the economy. And gee that virus wasn’t much of a threat because see, not many people got it and it wasn’t a problem.
The alternative is to try to straddle the line of trying to limit the virus but keep the economy out of recession. In other words, try to kick the can down the road and hope for a cessation of the virus, a vaccine, warmer weather helping or who knows what else.
Our society is dysfunctional. Maybe it has always been this way. But if all decisions will be attacked and used politically against an opponent, this is what we get.
Frankly, we deserve it because we continue to put up with this behavior.
Apathy breeds.

Sound reasoning. Best course of action has been to devise your own personal course of action. And then …. hope for the best. And put your faith in your Creator.
I think our goose is cooked.
