NOTHING TO FEAR BUT FEAR ITSELF

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is…fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. In every dark hour of our national life a leadership of frankness and of vigor has met with that understanding and support of the people themselves which is essential to victory. And I am convinced that you will again give that support to leadership in these critical days.”- Franklin D. RooseveltMarch 4, 1933

Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke these words during his first inauguration at the depths of the Great Depression in 1933. The narrative taught in government schools is how FDR’s words invigorated the nation and inspired the people to show courage in the face of adversity. His terminology was that of a general leading his troops into battle.

What is not taught in government schools or proclaimed by the propaganda spewing fake news media were the dictatorial type actions taken by FDR over the next month after his “inspirational” speech. He was the first Democrat president to not let a crisis go to waste. The day after his inauguration, Roosevelt assembled a special session of Congress to declare a four-day bank holiday, and on March 9 signed the Emergency Banking Act.

What the American people should have feared was the government taking control of every aspect of their lives and threatening them with imprisonment if their dictums were not followed. On March 6, taking advantage of a wartime statute that had not been repealed, he issued Presidential Proclamation 2039 that forbade the hoarding ‘of gold or silver coin or bullion or currency’, under penalty of $10,000 and/or up to five to ten years imprisonment.”

One month later, Roosevelt implemented Executive Order 6102 “forbidding the hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States”. FDR, like every corrupt politician, overstepped his authority by invoking the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917, to seize all the gold in the country. The fake reason for the order was that hard times had caused “hoarding” of gold, stalling economic growth and making the depression worse.

As usual, the Federal Reserve created the Great Depression through their recklessly easy monetary policy during the 1920s, creating a stock market bubble and its inevitable crash. The false rationale behind the order was to remove the restriction on the Federal Reserve which prevented it from increasing the money supply during the depression; the Federal Reserve Act (1913) required 40% gold backing of Federal Reserve Notes issued.

Excessive money printing by the Fed to benefit their Wall Street owners and the monied interests is a consistent theme since the Fed’s shameful conception in 1913. They catalyzed the Great Depression Fourth Turning in 1929 and seventy-nine years later created the current Greater Depression Fourth Turing in 2008. Americans should fear what they have done to our country.

Roosevelt used the fears of the American people to elevate the Federal government as the savior and ultimate allocator of dispensations to the masses. This is how politicians used fear in the 1930s to implement more control over our lives. They used the 2008 Wall Street created financial collapse to further confiscate the nation’s resources, while screwing over the little guy.

Now, we are in the midst of another manufactured crisis where government control of every aspect of our lives will be implemented through mandates, quarantines, and ultimately military force. There is nothing to fear but listening to politicians, government apparatchiks, and the hysteria inducing corporate media doing the bidding of their oligarch masters.

“The politician attempts to remedy the evil by increasing the very thing that caused the evil in the first place: legal plunder.”Frederic Bastiat

I’ve followed this entire coronavirus outbreak with a skeptical eye since it first appeared on the radar in January. Knowing that I’m lied to by virtually everyone has made it difficult to comprehend the truth about this ongoing crisis. We know China lied to the entire world about the outbreak in Wuhan. It wasn’t until social media revealed the true extent of the virus and quarantine of a city larger than NYC, that the world began to understand this was serious.

The fact that a military bio-lab in Wuhan somehow contributed to the initial outbreak has been downplayed by the propaganda media. The arrest of a Harvard chemistry professor and two Chinese nationals for trying to smuggle biological vials to China in January is also highly suspicious.  A Canadian government scientist at the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg made at least five trips to China in 2017-18, including one to train scientists and technicians at China’s newly certified Level 4 lab, which does research with deadly pathogens.

All indications point to this virus being man made, for purposes of biological war. Whether it was released into the world by accident or on purpose is unknown. What we do know is it is now spreading rapidly in every country around the globe. I don’t doubt it is highly contagious and will kill a large number of health compromised people. The growth rate goes exponential, based on what has happened in China, Italy and now countries across the globe. China reports that it has peaked and is in decline. Of course, they lie about everything, so these reports are suspect. If true, it can be attributed to their military lock down of cities and martial law ruthlessly implemented against its people. You can be sure our beloved leaders have noted the cold-blooded use of the military to implement their mandatory confinement. Obey or die.

In the middle of 2019, something beneath the surface of our debt based financial system broke. Suddenly, the Fed began to cut interest rates. This was done when the economy was “the best ever” according to Trump. They cut three times during the second half of 2019. The repo market went berserk in September. The Fed began “not QE” in January as the wheels began to fall off. The Wall Street lemmings cheered and bought everything in sight, propelling the market to the most overvalued in history. The Wall Street titans encouraged the public to buy, buy, buy. The Fed balance sheet made a V like “recovery”, skyrocketing by $700 billion in a matter of months. The daily bailing out of Wall Street banks has continued at an increasing level.

Image result for not QE

There was no fear exhibited by the likes of Dalio, Dimon or Shwarzman. The crash was inevitable. It just needed a catalyst. And that catalyst was the coronavirus. The more than 20% drop in less than two weeks was fastest in history. The Fed has attempted to capitalize on this crisis to further enrich their Wall Street benefactors. Trump was so exhilarated by the 7% bounce on Friday, he signed a stock chart for his sycophant ass kisser Lou Dobbs.

Trump continued to badger his pussified Fed Chairman Powell to slash rates more. Powell cowered under the glare of Trump and his Wall Street puppeteers and went all in on Sunday, slashing rates to zero and officially launching QE5. He has zero bullets left in the chamber. If he can’t reignite the stock market bubble with this recklessly outrageous conduct, then it’s game over and the Greater Depression will commence.

In the past week, politicians, bureaucrats and bankers of all stripes have used this coronavirus crisis, to increase their control and power over our daily lives. They passed another “stimulus package” that was 300 pages and no one in Congress read before voting it through. It’s filled with pork and corporate goodies. Manuchin, another Goldman vampire squid, is doing all he can to keep the net worth of his banker and corporate buddies headed north during this crisis.

Bailouts for airlines, cruise lines, frackers, hotels, and any other favored industry is in the offing. The fact these fake capitalists borrowed at near zero rates and bought back hundreds of billions of their stock in order to boost their stock price and reward themselves with hundreds of millions in bonuses, is water under the bridge in our crony capitalist paradise. It is truly despicable and traitorous to bailout these scumbags after their ten year orgy on the nation’s wealth.

Trump and his minions are following the exact playbook used in 2008/2009. Socialism for the corporate titans when they blow up the financial system, while average Americans lose their jobs and have their 401ks wiped out for the 3rd time in the last two decades. Every action being taken by politicians today is to save Wall Street and the mega-corporations who buy and sell them.

Main Street will be fucked over once again. ZIRP throws senior citizens under the bus. The spreading of irrational fear about this virus by the propaganda media is designed to convince the ignorant masses to beg their government keepers to save their lives. What critical thinking Americans should conclude is how corrupt, incompetent and evil their elected and unelected leaders have proven to be.

This Fourth Turning is really heating up. We have entered the phase where body counts will accelerate. No one knows whether the coronavirus will result in thousands of deaths or millions of deaths. Anyone telling you they know what is going to happen is a liar. If you think your Constitutional rights have been trashed through the mass surveillance being conducted by our government, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Wait until they declare this coronavirus out of control requiring a countrywide quarantine enforced by the U.S. military. When military vehicles are patrolling your streets with the threat of arrest or death if you leave your home, you’ll know the Constitution has been tossed into the trash bin. After decades of government school indoctrination and mass media propaganda, the sheep will passively be led to slaughter.

Our Himalayan mountain of debt is about to come tumbling down. The Federal Reserve has proven to be nothing but a whore for the Wall Street pimps. They have destroyed any semblance of credibility and independence they once had. The economic impact of this global pandemic will drive the entire world into recession. The likely outcome is a global depression as fear replaces greed and debts can’t be repaid. Fiscal stimulus when the national debt is already $23 trillion is like injecting adrenaline into a cancer patient. Small businesses are going to fail and unemployment is going to rise. This farce of a debt ponzi scheme is over.

Once economies across the world implode, with central bankers having failed epically, and citizens angry about how their political leaders have failed them, feckless politicians will do what they always do. They will create a foreign bogeyman enemy to redirect the ire of their citizens. Again, our leaders will exaggerate threats to induce fear into the masses. Will it be China or Russia or both? Some false flag will be utilized to launch another Fourth Turning war.

Millions will be sent to their deaths by foolish egomaniacal leaders. These crisis periods follow the same dynamic, only the specific events and triggers change. The existing social order will be swept away. Fourth Turnings always separate the wheat from the chaff. 2020 is destined to go down in history as the year where decades of lies, corruption, thievery and corporate fascism came crashing down. Who picks up the pieces after the crash will determine our future.

Image result for 2020 crash

“With the civic ethos now capable of producing civic deeds, a new dynamic of threat and response takes hold.

Instead of downplaying problems, leaders start exaggerating them.

Instead of deferring solutions, they accelerate them.

Instead of tolerating diversity, they demand consensus.

Instead of coaxing people with promises of minimal sacrifice, they summon them with warnings of maximal sacrifice.

A new resolve about urgent public goals crowds out qualms about questionable public means.” Strauss & Howe – The Fourth Turning

This depression is a replay of the last one, only amplified. All the stimulous, QE, REPO and other free money schemes are to provide the banks with all the cash they need to buy up everything they don’t already own for 10 cents on the dollar as the economy crumbles.

That’s how many major corporations existing today got their start back then. The banksters provided the funds they got for nothing and started major corporations with it while simultaneously bankrupting the little guy. An absolutely genius idea – for an evil bastard.

But, but, but–the future is where it’s at- there’s almost never “rhymes of the past…” As a modern day “skin-job” I’ve been forced to take so many shots of sorts, & now they have me do baseline tests to see if I can even leave my “cell” er, abode to go do my compartmentalized work for TPTB. I passed a recent baseline test, but failed my last one in the midst of this Pandemic Panic, and am afraid they’ll cut off my credits if I can’t work

Either he does it and deals with the dumbass Democrats protecting their treasonous Slope payoffs in the “Lincoln-est” of manners, or he is ousted.

China wasn’t dredging islands for shits and grins. They weren’t building entire cities for the hell of it. And they weren’t sitting on a multi-trillion dollar surplus because they’re Scrooge McDuck.

Common sense. And so long as Americans are able to buy Zhengzhou yo-yos and Xi Jinping-autographed Cabbage Patch Kids, they won’t see the bright flash.

As the world’s gov’ts dump the dollar as a trading vehicle, all those no longer needed dollars eventually end up back in the US.

That’s effectively new money that was sequestered in gov’t treasury departments now competing for goods and services in the US. More money chasing a shrinking supply of goods and services. You tell me what that portends.

Hyperinflation will happen AFTER the banksters purchase all the quality assets about to be dumped on the market for pennies and nickles. That’s what all the Fed money they’re getting is for. It’s not to help the economy. It’s to provide the oligarchs with cash to purchase everything of value.

If this doesn’t lead to an armed insurrection, then I don’t know what will. The Fed Gov is complicit in this scheme up to their eyeballs.

Hyperinflation is the result of rampant currency creation by the central banks.

If they didn’t create the extra currency, then hyperinflation couldn’t happen by definition.

You are absolutely wrong. Anyone who has any knowledge of economics whatsoever knows that hyperinflation is the result of a loss of production. Currency creation is always matched to purchasing, no matter what. Name any example of hyperinflation and you will find it occurred as a result of the loss of production. Post WW1 Germany is a perfect example. The hyperinflation did not happen because of money printing, it happened because of the effect of the Versailles treaty which drained Germany of all of its production and sent it to other countries. When there is a shortage of goods, the price of what little goods there are goes through the roof. When prices go sky high, the money supply has to be increased to match the purchases.

Messrs. SOA & Jdog both make excellent points, and those dynamics are not mutually-exclusive. One is a demand shock (too much money chasing too few goods — no reserve requirement and QE flood the market with additional dollars looking to buy tangible things of value while the little guy is liquidating to buy bread) AND supply shock for everything that results from off-shored manufacturing.

I’ve been teaching myself to make bread lately. I’ve got my 50 lb bag of flour from Costco & I’m looking forward to our new Mad Max adventures! It’s gonna be Awesome!

One of the most valuable classes I ever took was ‘limit theory’.

In a nutshell, it wants you to envision every problem in its micro and macro variants.

Let’s look at currency amounts. In your mind, start reducing the amount of currency in circulation towards the ultimate minimum – zero. Then go the other direction and start imagining increasing the amount of currency towards infinity.

Which of these scenarios produces hyperinfaltion – when there’s 0 dollars available or when there’s an infinite supply? Pick any arbitrary point on the axis towards 0 or infinity and again ask which is more likely to produce hyperinflation.

The solution is obvious.

Jdog
Jdog
  Solutions Are Obvious

You are wrong. Hyperinflation has nothing to do with money printing, it has to do with loss of production of goods and services which drives up the price.
You are trying to equate regular inflation with hyperinflation, and they are not the same.
Regular inflation is a product of fiat money supply. When something is purchase on credit, the money is created by debt to facilitate that purchase. The cost of the purchase plus the interest on that loan is created at the point of sale. The interest is what causes inflation. If the interest on the purchase is 10% you have just introduced 10% more than the purchase price into the monetary system.
You cannot introduce money into the system prior to purchases, therefore you cannot attribute hyperinflation to too much printing.
Hyperinflation is the result of a drastic loss of supply, which in turn drives up prices.
We have just seen an example recently as face masks, rubber gloves, and hand sanitizer started selling for hyper inflated prices on the black market due to lack of supply.

For instance, in my mostly conservative community there is a “vegan creamery and cheese” place, a gay bar, a temple and a couple of corner stores where the local tweekers and junkies congregate. For some reason, my new bb hose made funny faces at their windows every time I’d roll by…

Might as well make life expensive for em, at the least. Have they done you any favors?”

Strange dream, I know.

More chores, planting, and projects then there is time.

I’m not worried about the tip of the Luciferian’s most recent invisible spear, I’m intensely preparing for the reaction of the mooing visible herd in the ongoing stampede, and there is always the wandering wolves on the fringes that will move in when the time is right.

I showed my Son-in-Law (worse case) the hidden fighting position where we would sleep in (to cover the house at night) one man up – one man down, to put the only approach to it in flanking fire…and he swallowed twice.

We will be drilling there soon…it’s called ‘Just in case…get in their face’ and make sure they won’t know where you are.

The Big Picture is already known…clearly prophesied, that doesn’t affect the attitude of this remnant family, just the pace of the preps, plans, and determination.

If this is just TLPTB (L=Luciferian) preamble (maybe…maybe not) it doesn’t matter…I am all about the ‘practical tactical’ chores, preps, fighting positions, tribe communications, training, and most important of all prayers to the Living God.

In a somewhat muted defense of Mike’s comment, I read somewhere or another that the Chinese researchers who began work on this in the US (UNC) were trying to isolate what made bats immune from these corona virus strains, as well as Ebola and other nasties.

If that were the case, they may have been looking for an antidote for fear it would be used on them in bio-warfare, not that they necessarily would use it on us. When you look at this virus’ profile of being more dangerous to Asians due to them having five times more chemical receptors than non-Asians, it becomes even more plausible that they were looking for a defense for it rather than an offensive weapon and that the notably lax conditions at the Wuhan lab let this thing out accidentally.

Oh, and by the way… you may have read in related stories here that the lead Chinese researcher published a paper in 2015 on their work and footnoted the original sample they were using came from Ft. Detrick. In Maryland. In the USA.

So…maybe Mike isn’t as crazy as a loon after all.

What I mean is the comment is not far from what we could imagine an AI troll would do. Certainly, it is formulaic. A bot troll would be an imbecile in a manner of speaking. There is a touch of emptiness to his comments. We need to stay cool and deal with local facts within our sights most of all. I suppose that in some of these cases it’s our tax money at work.

Doug, Jim is right about this being yet another shakedown attempt. That is not mutually exclusive from the status of the virus (real or imagined, naturally occurring or bioweapon, etc.) I happen to lean toward it being a virus produced somewhere in the West and stolen by (or leaked to) the ChiComs. They aren’t as innovative as people make them out to be, but they can reverse engineer anything.

I just don’t think that this will be a repeat of 2008. At least not in my house, because this time I have 12 years of research under my belt (and which ultimately led me to TBP). If this goes on much further then S really will HTF. Hell, I still haven’t forgotten the OG Paulson and Kashkari – the latter of which has a goddamn job with the FED today!

Zero creativity. Yellows are a pre-Industrial people. I don’t know who makes them out to be innovative, but yes, they can internalize any working model. They have empowering bigotry. Some admixture of their better stock with intelligent and emotionally self-possessed white people could be something special in theory. I am not worried about China taking over the world because they are too orderly. Whites are too compliant, but in spurts whites value competency. People can be right for the wrong reasons and get civilized progress for a spell. What should scare the readers here is that SHTF without us and after us. Little historical or natural perspective here, and this is the vanguard of white America. I have not had a beer in over 24 hours. I wish I had a higher or lower IQ.

At least a decade ago the definitive book in English on Chinese history and culture was China’s Imperial Past by Hucker. They were the world’s leading nation after the fall of Rome and I suppose some could argue before (I’m leaning not). The fact that the Chinese invented gunpowder ‘long before’ the Age of Discovery only reinforces my statement (and I believe Hucker’s where I got it). They stopped at the edge of Industrialization for centuries. They became isolationists not long after the Mongol Horde dynasty was replaced by the Ming dynasty and a eunuch admiral led a navy to collect tribute to the east coast of Africa. It was a bigger armada than the (losing) Spanish Armada. Yes, they did all that and stagnated. It would be too disorderly to free business innovation. They had an imperially decreed pecking order: peasants were officially higher in social status than businessmen. Of course BS, but its relative control. Someone posted a keys to power video months ago. Point is: culture. To use power responsibly with regard to fellow nationals. That is gone with us. That is not possible with them. I don’t think they want it. Technological revolution causes structural changes in society. They don’t like that. Japan is in a decades funk for trying to be Western. Yes, they are impressive but still in a two-decades funk because they are in over their heads. Look at who is in charge of the US beneath the elite, or look at the elite. They have it better than they deserve. Better than they can manage. They are clueless. If IQ were everything the Western white man would NOT have dominated the global first and for the last 500 years. The nature of one’s heart matter, and I don’t mean sympathy but disposition. The heart rules the mind more than we realize. The yellow heart has no heart for disruption, which means no heart for innovation or really solving things not preordained by their authority. As for their superior numbers, that’s what our technology is for. If we give away that advantage we deserve to die. The subhuman world sees an oppressor to be overthrown no matter what we do. Most are subhuman. Instincts. Relative rank. I’ve written on Chinese history and culture. I’m sure I’m right, drunk or sober. I never said China will not ‘win’ against the United States. I did not suppose a war. The US Empire is corrupt and must fall from it. That is not due to the greatness of China. They are great, but not in a post-Industrial way. They had a dust bowl at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. They need training to wait in line, to ‘queue’. They pollute. In contrast the US solved the US dust bowl problem of the 1930s. We are a very clean nation compared to China and anywhere outside the West. I know, Los Angeles pollution. Well, look who lives there now. Garbage in, garbage out. The Chinese may style themselves the Celestial Empire. They may be the center of the world in their opinion. We may be sea dogs and worse in their narrative. They are not a post-Industrial people, but they are a viable people. We are not a people, no culture. Their government may enslave them, but they will not wholesale replace them with foreigners. They take care of the Muslim situation like nobody’s business. Pros and cons. Yellow people ain’t post-Industrial any more than black people are civilized. Exceptions don’t define culture or society. The exception becomes the rule only by extermination. Exceptional people are not exceptional where it counts. Hence, clown world. We will be reduced. Cheers!

Very good post. I see someone other than me loathes the ChiComs enough to study them intently. I love their Silver and Gold Pandas, Lunars, and the Khan releases. I love Mongol history but it is separate and distinct from the Chinese dynasties, worthy of great respect in many ways (Kubalai’s idiotic attempts at sailing excluded).

It was actually the great Genghis Khan Temujin who took the Chinese gunpowder, Arab flame-throwing, and W Euro bellmaking technologies to create the first killer (pun intended) siege weapon. Genghis gets zero respect for conquering more territory in 25 years than the Romans did in 400.

But I digress.

Funny reference to that Mongol Armada. Throwing gov. money at a ‘problem’. In all fairness, they ran into very inclement weather, a divine wind. Why the zero respect for Genghis? One thing the luminaries of the Enlightenment got right was that nature judges, i.e. natural law. I regard Genghis as an inspiration we can internalize like good Chinamen. Endless pussy and power in a man’s 50s. Couple that with pondering the origins of the universe and the progress of human culture and then you have something, great men who will not be denied. The guy established the first public school system, had freedom of religion, reasonable taxation except when the Muslims got out of hand in Damascus and beheaded his envoy. The guy knew how to deal with extremists…he didn’t like to spill blood so as to keep the earth pure, so what did he do? Broke the backs of his enemies over logs.

What sacred cow? I am not religious. The Junk is a great wooden boat, very efficient and sturdy. The white-man’s answer to the Junk is the Caravel. The technology is not the point. Somebody sailed around the world and somebody did not. Somebody made a global economy and somebody did not. What the Chinese are doing now is copying what white men did that was successful. Does that mean they will be successful? If I imitate Bill Burr am I going to be a rich comic? Answer: No. The Chinese are a great pre-Industrial people. That specialized greatness comes at a price. This is no different than identifying the excessive empathy of white men. Emotional nature of men is perhaps more important than intellect. How do women fool men over and over? Emotional manipulation. How does the Left win over and over? Emotional manipulation. Their arguments are increasingly inane but always ‘moral’, ‘ethical’, and ‘legalistic’. Who is being liquidated by emotional manipulation? I’ve taken my turn. I try to warn others, those that have been propagandized because of their superiority that the base vermin wish to keep latent for a successful kill. What am I missing?

There is a reason the Europeans wrote the history I studied in school, which is exactly my point! Furthermore, my knowledge of history comes from self-study as an ostracized adult looking for answers. Is it possible your Sinophilia is justified and the Chinese suck at post-Industrial culture? One interesting parallel: the Europeans were motivated by competition with each other. Now the Chinese have the shadow of the West as their motivation. I still believe I’m correct all along. The culturally and perhaps genetically midway Hong Kong-ese would rather call UK muh lord than China. The Taiwanese cling to the US Empire. Oh yah, the Chinese are so progressive.

For that reason in the pure abstract, AoC, I have come to the conclusion that domestic violence is usually good not bad and should be regarded as such. I don’t think there should be domestic intervention unless beyond the gray and a threat to the system of society (not meaning bureaucracy but we the people).

Interestingly, I have also come to the conclusion not so long ago that there is no purest form of intelligence, just like there is no center of the universe. That implies no purest form of evolution even if qualified to homo sapiens, the apex species. These subspecies pests are, I believe, the product of untold years of evolution going back farther than that for the discernible makings of real human beings, or shall we say civilized humans? This was an epiphany for me. The competing flows of evolution, the competing flows period, are maddening.

Behold! The exquisite parasite. The exquisite sycophant. The exquisite domestic. The thoroughbred serf. You get my point? Perhaps I quibble too much on minutia. I confess I am itching to express myself fully, but that endeavor is fraught with folly. This medium does not permit very much depth. I am glad to have had this exchange with you, AoC, and you too Fleabaggs and e.d. ott. We need not agree on subordinate abstractions to abstractions with no immediate practicality.

Come to think of it, one could suppose progressive evolution in its purest form, some optimal blend of conflict and stability. Europe was bogged down in excessive (counterproductive) war for sure. The Sun King essentially broke the back of French masculinity, as a guess. Founding Fathers were leery of standing armies. A well-regulated militia being necessary, that sorta gets to the point, n’est-ce pas? Civilian balls on personal call and recognizance. Most selection pressures on men have required it. Damn, the fully mature nation state. Political maturation is the onset of vermin ascendance. Cheers to the purity we would dispense, gentlemen. That word, gentleman. I’m thinking more like a big one not The Big One. White people are too domesticated to have the dignity to respond with total war. You pretty much have to go back beyond Christianity to find white men who would genocide a group of people and secure a period of peace and prosperity. Jews have that in their Jewish Bible, the Canaanites, and yet to oppose Jewish rule is evil antisemitism. Jew-on-stick cucks gonna empathize with Mordecai and Esther and Job and Jesus, and guarantee my failure first with ostracism and abuse. As long as they stick together in the easy inaction narrative. When the police feel the withdrawal of public support as part of the disuse of the phrase ‘Thank you for your service’ then balls. SHTF will likely be a Muslim thing. There is no SHTF without forceful opposition to the Establishment. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There can’t be SHTF unless shit hits and the fan hits back. I am thinking more in line with a substantial change to the political order. This will be orderly at a higher level, the next meta level up. This orderly decline, and our survival is not germane to what constitutes SHTF.

AT THE POINT WHERE THE ILLUSION BECOMES TOO EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN, THEY WILL JUST TAKE DOWN THE SCENERY, THEY WILL PULL BACK THE CURTAINS, THEY WILL MOVE THE TABLES AND CHAIRS OUT OF THE WAY AND YOU WILL SEE THE BRICK WALL AT THE BACK OF THE THEATER.

Two posts in one day, Admin? How long has it been since you posted two in one day? I’m sure there will be more to write about in the coming weeks.

So, is it? About to go down? I don’t know but I hope Fleabaggs is right when he says not till summer or early fall. I got gardens to plant and targets to practice. If he is right, I still think incremental lockdowns until then. Things seem to be speeding up faster than I can keep up, that’s for sure.

You don’t need to explain what exactly the problem people do. That is a trick they use. They plant doubt. Don’t doubt your capacity to judge what to do unilaterally if given the choice. Behind the scenes at the local chain grocery, starting tomorrow nothing will be going onto the floor that is “handled”, i.e. no more baked goods, no more of those pre-cooked chickens, no soup bar/salad bar, no deli meats or cheeses, etc.

The manager said business was up 70% this past week, but that supplies coming from their warehouses were now being determined from corporate instead of each store so it’s going to be you get what you get from here on out.

Restaurants are all about to close their doors for a month which means forever.

I put an ad on craigslist for piglets, normally we get a call or two a week, today I had a dozen calls before noon and every last one of the litters is spoken for already. Even the homesteader types are giving in to the hysteria.

A bunch of my son’s friends are back home from college and they all came over to help with sugaring today and they all have said that they aren’t going back after this. They want to do what we do, they told him, work at something valuable.

Even if they stop this tomorrow- which they can’t- it’s going to be years to reverse the damage done to businesses and communities and no one is ever going to trust anything coming from these experts that have gotten everything wrong since day one. There are parts of our economy that are never going to go back to normal and that’s going to change the way everyone behaves.

Time to start having serious discussions with neighbors if you’re planning on hunkering down in place because at some point they are going to go offline for any kind of law enforcement that isn’t an armored car heist.

Stay frosty.

OT, I sent Marc an email when I ordered my syrup that it’s not the virus that concerns me. It’s Newton’s Third Law: Action (MSM, horribly incompetent govt.) -> Equal and Opposite Reaction (Panic, Uncreative Economic Destruction).

Due to Reaction above, it is wise to expedite preps and to have a wee bit of limbic system fight/flight engaged. It may look like herd behavior, but in reality it’s reaction to herd behavior. How one can tell herd from prepper limbic system? TP purchases vs. going to Lowe’s and getting loaded up with seed, shovels, string, garden soil, and calling arborists for mass mulch dumpage.

The $700 billion dollar bailout of 2008 was a huge deal. It had the common man outraged and emailing their Congresscritters. Yesterday, the same amount was accomplished by the Fed almost as an afterthought in a lengthy speech. Nary a mention on the MSM as they choose to focus on the supermarket and social distancing aspects of the crises in order to pump fear and their ratings.

You can see where the government’s priorities lie. $700 billion for the banks and Wall Street; some vague tax extensions, possible payroll deductions and free testing kits for the groundlings. They really can’t do more, because they are already getting dangerously close to admitting that middle-class taxes don’t actually matter to the government, but they enjoy taking them anyway. Something the average taxpayer still doesn’t realize.

Still, I don’t think we will see bank runs. They are going to keep the liquidity flowing like Niagara Falls. What we are going to see is massive inflation. This has already been going on — the runup of the DOW to 30,000 was inflation marketed to the masses as growth. They may get to the point where they start sending out $1,000 checks to everyone, which will work for a little while. But eventually people will catch on and it will be harder and harder to obtain real goods and services for present dollars.

Great analysis and excellent info, as always, JQ.
Some will take heed, most will not. The majority who don’t will blame systematic failure and the coming martial law on those who resisted the official government narrative.
If we just listen to authority and all work together to oppress each other equally, the government won’t have to do the job for US. It’s a lot less painful when you ass-rape yourself.

I’ve actually heard people say talking “about it” will make “it” happen. Just don’t talk about “it”.

Anyone that’s ever pulled a stuck cow out of a cold muddy creek after it’s been there for several days knows that when their eyes roll back in the head it means they’ve given up and no vet on earth can save them now. People like James are the vet and the cold muddy creek is the government . Most people have been stuck in the mud too long and their eyes have begun to roll. They cannot be revived.

Aristotle concluded this 2500 years ago.

“Before some audiences not even the possession of the exactest knowledge will make it easy for what we say to produce conviction. For argument based on knowledge implies instruction, and there are people whom one cannot instruct.”

Aristotle

Save yourself. Tribe up or die.

As schools are being closed in my state for the next 4 weeks, an article in my local paper published the following this morning:

With testing options now expanding, [the states expect] the number of positive cases to increase.

And now, even the Orwellian Media is making the case for the economy being “shuttered” while, at the same time, Orange Man bad:

The case for shuttering the economy to battle coronavirus

Does President Trump have the guts? His initial response to the virus was to underplay it and insist it would be gone before long. He was wrong about that. He has a chance now to rectify that with bold action. Like all leaders who find themselves managing a crisis, Trump is going to infuriate somebody, whether it’s those who think he’s doing too little or those who insist he’s doing too much. He has a short window of time to act before the only possible answer is that he’s doing too little.

As I wrote in another comment on another thread last evening

In many ways the details are fast becoming deck chairs on the Titanic. If the 2008 financial crisis marked the Catalyst for this Fourth Turning and Trump marked the Regeneracy phase, then it appears COVID-19 may be the Climax

Strauss & Howe defined the climax as “the death of the old order and birth of the new“.

Indeed, the global reaction to Coronavirus® is shaping up to be a watershed societal sea change – similar to 911. A TEOTWAWKI event whereby nothing is ever quite the same afterwards.

The next 5 years are going to be like skiing down a mountain in a blizzard during an avalanche. Or, in other words, it will be hard to see what’s just ahead and tricky trying not to fall and get buried while navigating a slippery slope.

Story – King Humpty Dumpty lived a royal life in his palace. One day when he went on rounds, he sat on a huge wall and fell down. He got injured heavily. He finally recovered and realized that he had done a big mistake by climbing up the wall. Humpty Dumpty learned from his mistake, never climbed up any walls and never allowed any of his people to climb any walls in his kingdom.

That is the most depressing “helpful interpretation” I have ever read.

They should have named it Controlavirus. But, seriously, isn’t it ironic that “corona” means (translates to) “crown”?

Illinois Mayor Grants Herself Power To Ban Gun Sales And Alcohol During Coronavirus Epidemic

Among the sweeping powers she gained after signing the executive order was the ability to ban the sale of guns, ammunition, alcohol and gasoline – as well as the power to cut off access to individuals’ gas, water or electricity, according to the Washington Examiner.

The city can also “take possession of private property” and order the temporary closing of all liquor stores and bars.

Placing Paul’s prose onto this post for posterity purposes:

The Coronavirus Hoax – by Ron Paul, March 16, 2020

Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security.

It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans.

Declaring a pandemic emergency on Friday, President Trump now claims the power to quarantine individuals suspected of being infected by the virus and, as Politico writes, “stop and seize any plane, train or automobile to stymie the spread of contagious disease.” He can even call out the military to cordon off a US city or state.

Coronavirus® really is the new Terrorism®. Even so, it doesn’t mean it’s not real. It is real because it’s happening.

The thing people really have to fear, is their own ignorance. This crisis will act as a test to separate those who truly understand how and why things work, from those who ignorantly accept whatever they are told.
Those who know how things work, are not worried about what is coming, because they have been prepared for it. They have seen it coming for a long time. They have sounded the warnings to others for years only to be ridiculed, and laughed at.
This is a reckoning, when reality asserts itself, and survival of the fittest becomes the law of the land. This is a time where you will find out if what you believe is actually truth or if you have been deluding yourself in a world of fantasy.

for this, probably not, there’s been too many articles pointing out that vaccines take about a year to develop. but you can probably expect enforced vaccines in the future, with any resisters charged with criminal drug evasion.

“You can be sure our beloved leaders have noted the cold-blooded use of the military to implement their mandatory confinement. Obey or die.”

well there has been a marked transition in military personnel trending towards non- post- and anti-americans, exacerbated by the fact that the most american segments of the military are overseas, making domestic usage of the “military” theoretically possible. but do they actually have enough bodies to pull off something like that?

Only with compliance. If they started shit and it went sideways there would be little they could do.

RinSey, I figure they want to take it back to 2016 and make it seem like a Bobby Ewing in the shower moment. In that case the bleeding should stop at 18,000.

Great article Mr. Admin.
Philippines market shuts down according to ZeroHedge.
It would be a cinch to do that here.

You know all those dollars and U.S. bonds now in the hands of foreigners? And now that real estate prices will be falling like leaves in October, those dollars have someplace to go. What will Trump and them do when it becomes obvious that Americans are losing their assets in a big way to foreigners? I’d bet the dollar goes bye bye and is replaced by something not owned by foreigners. That is likely to stir things up beyond what the folks at the United Nations can deal with.

If this virus is a bio-weapon, they will probably have developed a method of immunization, before intentionally releasing it onto the public. It shouldn’t be hard to figure out who is likely to have been immunized before its release. If it was developed by the US Deep State, you might expect that certain persons in positions of power are now immune. For example — and this is only hypothetical — if, in future weeks and months, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, Schiff and Hillary all miraculously escape contagion, that might smell like a rat. It would also be circumstantial evidence, but relatively strong circumstantial evidence, that it was perhaps the Deep State acting to bring about the effects which we now see occurring. I am not saying that this is the case. I’m merely pointing out a possibility which, if it happens, would be consistent with some particular types of motives. Nor are these the only nefarious possibilities.

Look a squirrel…

What was supposed to be happening around the time this whole WuFlu thing blew up? Where’s Durham? Schiff is self quarantining. Indictments by the 1000? $hillary testifying under oath (like it would matter)? We got old ball-less Harvey going to prison & that’s it ?

“Issue Treasury banknotes backed by gold”

is the united states any longer able to support such a currency regime?

My brother is a nurse at the VA. Friday they polled them to ask how they will work if their kids are at home. They were getting a head count of people that may not show up for work due to the babysitters (schools) being shut down.
He told them he had nobody and he would most likely have to stay home.

Today, hiS boss was an asshole to him. Asking him why he had not prepared For this. Then equated the non prep to asking him, what if he had to go to war who would watch his kids? He was pissed and walked out and told his boss he would handle his family shit and for him not to worry about him…pissed he was.

Later today he was informed, tomorrow they have an all hands on meeting with The feds regarding
1) they are high risk employees
2) may be Quarantined at work and may not go home for months
3) are needed under the Guise of critical infrastructure (nurses docs etc)
4) other, not explained

Seems we are headed for lock down like italy and they may shut the fed non critical govt down. Seems they are going to make slaves out of certain workers in critical jobs. That wont go over very well surely. Others get to sit at home get paid but they are forced to work for the same money. Either the govt will incentivize them or pay them more. Unknown at this time. Seems his boss knows something and was pissed because they do not want to pay and let people sit at home.

-My 6 figure wire out of Wells Fargo today was rejected. Seems it may be nothing but an acct number issue, or maybe a run on the banks. I will be at the banks door at opening again tomorrow!

-Regions bank refused a doctor friend of mine more than a $500 withdrawal of cash. He was told they sent out an email this morning informing all acct holders.
He was able to pull $500 additional from the atm.

-@ bank opening, I withdrew $15,000 cash from wells fargo, but when they opened the safe behind the counter i cleaned out about 1/3 of what they had there. Just what i noticed unsure if more was in big vault, unsure if this means anything or not. Just reporting what i saw today, know of factually…is all.

– ETF, SLV got clobbered again today. But i just looked and seems the etf price is gaining on spot which is really odd.unsure if that is true

Which dovetails nicely into the whole “premise” that healthcare is a “right.” So it is going to take the VA ENSLAVING AND KIDNAPPING these people to “ensure” adequate medical treatment. What if a doctor says “I quit?” or a nurse, or every doctor or every nurse (not just now, but under some government-run medical system? Are they to be ENSLAVED because medical care for YOU is a right?? WHAT ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS??? Are they to be killed if they refuse, or refuse to work under the terms of their enslavement and kidnapping?? Does anyone have the courage to confront these truths in the face of this so-called crisis?

“Are they to be ENSLAVED because medical care for YOU is a right?”

doctors take a hypocratic oath, and most health care workers 1) know this kind of situation may arise and 2) are ready to perform in it, not as slaves but because they see themselves as members of their community and not as mercenaries for hire.

those who don’t see themselves as members of their community but as mercenaries are free to quit now, and perhaps not work in that field again.
