Virginia didn’t used to be like that but we’re talking 20-some years ago.
Back then most of the liberals lived in Fairfax and Arlington Counties close to DC, but unfortunately, they filtered west to farm country. I lived further out in Warrenton and used to be a regular shadow at Clark Bros. where the knew me by name.
Will always miss NoVA for what it used to be … and still could be. Still remember driving out past Winchester during the fall season and smelling the apples or the cedars and chill air at night on Battlefield’s Route 29 before the garbage turned it into strip mall hell.
Go take a drive through Haymarket sometime and tell me if you can even recognize it anymore.
That’s exactly the spot I was talking about. Right near the entrance to Battlefield close to entrance of 29 to Rte 66. Nissan Pavilion and other such crap near the old Vint Hill Farms Station.

Jury nullification is the answer to out of control prosecutors. There are other ways as well. Find out where they live.
The answer may require summary justice. I hope to God it doesn’t come to that but the Left can’t seem to prevent provoking that alternative.

The fact that the poor guy in jail has an ME name is inconsequential, ya have to let the niggers do whatever they want. We are headed toward a total loss of civility, a breakdown of our society. We were headed there anyway, CV just increased the acceleration.
When I moved inside the Beltway I had a good rental agreement with a friend who also worked at the same company. Her family was Asian (S. Viet refugees) and the neighborhood was a melting pot of different cultures, some of whom were Muslims from various places. Been in and out of the ME for years so I knew.
Not many were friendly and you could sort them out just by walking her black Lab. You’d know who they were because they’d bust their asses avoiding the dog. The dindus couldn’t afford the neighborhood but it was a toss-up between them and wealthy libtards.
Unsurprising. Arlington hasn’t been the same since 9/11, when, coincidentally, the size of govt. doubled. If you’re still living in Virginia, I’d encourage you to GTFO. There’s no place on Earth I love more but it is NOT a good place to be until NOVA is culled.
I lived in NOVA for a year, and yes, it’s not hard to imagine it becoming a real hell-scape.
There is this legal thing called the “affirmative defense”.
If own or carry a gun you damn well better be familiar with it.
It works like this:
“Yes, I shot him/her/them, because they represented an immediate threat to my life or of grievous bodily harm”.
“I did what any reasonable person would do in that situation”.
“OOPS, I didn’t mean to” will likely get you jail time everywhere, as well as a visit to civil court.
This is why warning shots are NEVER a good idea. They all go somewhere, and are a use of deadly force.

Remember that when peace officers shoot someone in the line of duty, their union-provided defense attorneys will instruct them to say something similar to above (it’s somewhat different because the legal duties of a cop are different than a person protecting his home).
In most cases of a cop or civilian shooting, you should anticipate that it will go to a grand jury. In my conservative state jurisdiction, all cop shootings automatically go to grand jury per DA instruction. Most DAs are afraid of being accused of covering up an alleged cop murder or manslaughter.
The act of shooting another human being should be carefully thought through before you own a self defense weapon. It is absolutely only something that you should do when you have no other recourse under your state’s law. But if you or your loved one is about to die (or suffer serious bodily harm, depending on the jurisdiction) it’s better to go to a grand jury hearing than a funeral.

Absolutely correct. If you fire a warning shot it means you were not in such immediate peril that you were truly justified to use force, or so the prosecutor will say. 1) Do not unholster unless you plan to use it 2) No warning shot. You are there to stop the threat to your life 3) I carry a .357 because every time you discharge your weapon is one more opportunity for a prosecutor to claim you didn’t need to throw that extra shot. I want one, big hole in the bad guy’s middle, not a bunch of 9mm drywood termite holes that looked like I was trying to torture him.
Democrats get angry when you kill their acquaintances. They need them for their gun ban narratives. The more you kill the harder it is to make the sheeple believe all guns are bad….

Lots of piss poor decisions on this one. The scarcity of ammunition makes warning shots a thing of the past around here. There were 3 of them & the asshole fired 3 warning shots? That likely cut his chance of survival in 1/2 if it was a revolver. Gun control… hitting what you aim at. Remember, death benefits are usually cheaper than disability benefits & dead men tell no tales.

Virginia is a Democratic Communist Shithole. Stories like this coming from such places should not shock anyone. What I think is shocking that people don’t get the hell out of anyplace infested and controlled by Democrats and their people with green-, stein-, -bergs in their names.
