Better to Know than to be Surprised

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

I get a lot of information from sources around the world I was informed of the protests being organized in Germany two weeks ago. I am careful to cover such things only when they happen. Otherwise, yes, I could be accused of organizing them. That is not my purpose. It is to explain what is in fact unfolding and I try desperately to ensure I am not just spinning conspiracy theories. I have probably better sources than anyone, especially because all our clients are on the same mindset and we are all sharing what is happening around the world to better understand the global trends.

It is total nonsense that the Russians influenced the 2016 election. Governments try always to influence elections. All the propaganda put out by the various news organizations is never questioned by their core readers because they are incapable of thinking for themselves. They BELIEVE what they want to BELIEVE. I have explain that the independent forces account for probably 10%. That can increase with exposing the lies but only when the BELIEVERS are confronted with the realization that they have been stupid sheep. That is the tipping point. That can be determined cyclically.

It is far better to understand what is unfolding, for it does bring calm. You can then watch it unfold. We are in the last 12 years period of this cycle. They are the equivalent to a long-term Panic Cycle. This is how the West falls. The British Empire fell. They people survived. When the Greek Empire of the Heroic period fell, the people migrated because of Climate Change. When Rome fell, it split into many pieces and the separatist movement led to  individual city states.

This is not Armageddon – the end of the world. This is just the end of the political system, and unfortunately, this Virus-Climate Change nonsense is deliberately trying to destroy the economy. They have no idea how to create the world they think needs to be created. They are ending Capitalism to be replaced with tyranny. They will not succeed, but this will come at the cost of blood in the streets which will vary depending upon where you are. The Midwest and the South will stand against California and New England – the stronghold of the Marxist believers.

In Florida, we had a “voluntary” stay at home. I would routinely go shopping and other than the mall and restaurants, most else was open. Police never pulled me over nor did they harass the people. The beach was supposed to be closed, but as long as you were walking the beach the police said that was fine. Of course, I live on a Private Beach so that was never an issue anyhow. In New England, police were nasty, ticketing people, arresting them, and generally acting as the right hand of ruthless illegal decrees.

So where you live will definitely be critical during the next 12 years.

Yup, a growing number of the “Herd” getting awakened/restless/P-Oed. Gun/ammo purchases continue to skyrocket. Two formerly blue legisTRAITOR districts go red big-time recently. Fi-Fy-Fo-Fum, I smell stampede come. Bring it! Way “past due”.

Something is different in my little corner of NC. A week ago when I went to the grocery store I as in the distinct minority as I was maskless. Yesterday the situation was just the opposite.

Earlier this week our sheriff announced on a local radio show that he would be upholding his oath to the Constitution and not visit any local churches that decided it was time to reopen, regardless what the governor has to say. He also indicated that municipalities would probably follow suit as their resources are strained.

People are tired of the insanity. The weather is getting warmer and the beaches are calling. The traffic in our little town that is in the path from Raleigh to the coast was very busy yesterday.

Perhaps it’s anecdotal evidence but I don’t think so. People are tired of being afraid and the kids are getting on their nerves. Maybe they’ve been spending too much time with their spouse. I heard NASCAR is getting ready to reboot. How the heck do you social distance at a car race?

People want to get back to “normal” and most fail to comprehend that the world they knew is gone. Hot weather usually raises the anger meter so who knows what’s going to happen, but I see change coming.

2020 has already proven to be interesting, and I believe there’s a lot more interesting times ahead.

Craven- Interesting that I had an opposite experience yesterday. I braved the COMPLETE insanity of the hordes in the “VIRUS FREE ZONE” at Home Depot to buy a couple bags of yard soil. Only a handful of the hundreds of shoppers were without masks, me being one of them. It was surreal to watch our society fall apart like this.

Somewhere there are elites laughing hysterically at the great unwashed.

Next weekend is Memorial Day. Chicago, Baltimore and St. Louis can have the first good firefights of the season. Since our governor wants to arrest anyone not wearing a mask I’m sure the drug dealers and gang bangers will dutifully wear them during the drive bys.

I read stuff by Armstrong with expectations and he always disappoints. Since he is trying “desperately” maybe he deserves another chance. Then again, maybe he should recycle HAL.

He says only 10% are awake, I would say that is optimistic.

Even though the county I live in is in a “re-opening phase” what ever that means,
all stores still require masks.

masks don’t work, it is a form of humiliation, and a way to ostracize you (if you do not comply)

I also visited a big box h/w store, to get some specific nuts/bolts. the cashier was behind plexi-glass,
wearing a mask, and rubber gloves, scared out of his wits by his employer and his TV. Another clown was in same costume, busy wiping down the checkout lane after each evil virus contaminated customer passed thru.

There has only been 1 death in the entire county, and it was a retired fire fighter with lung disease,
another one of those nudge nudge wink wink “covid” death certificates.

I tried talking to one of these poor retail wretches, and he ask “what newspapers do you read? where do you get your information?”

cause if it is not in the NYT, then it is fake news.

I was near Chicago last week and looked at a Chicago Tribune which was at least once upon a time one of the several major US papers, and also supposedly Republican leaning back then.
Looking through it, almost half of the articles in the Chicago Tribune were attributed to the New York Times! There is just about zero independent anything in the print media. It all comes from a couple of places, dutifully reprinted by the lapdogs, primarily from the NYT. Limbaugh isn’t kidding when he says all you have to do is look at the NYT and you will know what every other paper and the TV networks will say. The Times is their marching orders. It isn’t even owned by an American.

Yes, but back in the day, “Limbaugh” was completely in favor of releasing the restrictions/laws restraining media consolidation. Imperfect as it was then, this is where that road led.

Don’t you think papers have died because of an inability to compete with the immediacy of cable and internet?

my bank has a social distancing compliance officer now. he wears a cheap suit and a security badge and directs everyone who comes in to “stand on the distancing squares please”. kinda funny.

“OUR ancestors sacrificed everything for OUR Freedom, they were willing to give everything for the future of their kids. Men and women have Starved, Frozen, got diseases lost their land, homes so we could have the Right to free speech, Right of free movement, Right to bear arms, Right to liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Now ARE we willingly to giving it all up so we don’t get sick! Americans are losing their Dreams, livelihood, starving and straight up suffering at the hands of OUR government. The Time is now to show them who holds the POWER they were given by taking that POWER back.

So come and STAND UP with me today and the days to Follow. You can’t just Stand Up today and fail to do it tomorrow or the next days, weeks, months or years to come if you truly want to take OUR power back. LETS TAKE OUR FUCKING COUNTRY BACK!

#alwaysmoveforward”

As posted on Face Book This morning from John “TIG” Tiegen, a Benghazi hero.

This morning in Colorado we ride to the Capitol to protest for reopening and to ash can this tyrannical takeover, perpetuated upon us, in the name of the Wuhan Flu.

Here in the CCP-MI I went to the local menards store and shopped for a whole 45 minutes in the the store without a mask on. I was not challenged once by any individual during that period of time. I stood in line at the checkouts without incident. When it was my turn to check out the fellow behind his plexiglass shield asked why are you not wearing a mask. I replied that as a child I nearly drowned and since then I would become extremely anxious when my mouth and nose were covered. The bottom line, I was refused the purchase and asked to leave at that point. I was told I could order on line. I thanked them and walked out shaking my head. Sorry but menards is not on my go to place anymore.

The young fella across the street runs the local Menards. Some guy tried to run him over with a pickup truck last week over the mask requirement. Crazy shit.

Who will have control of the tools of war/control? That matters more, imo, than region.

We Scotch-Irish folks will demonstrate exactly how lame by comparison the goat humpers are, and they have been more than Alexander the Great, The British Empire, the Soviet Union or our own vaunted MIC can handle.

that’s caveman posturing. might want to step back and have a good long hard look at the factual realities so that you act rationally instead of emotionally.

Nope. A guerrilla movement with 15-20% support is hard to stop and impossible to defeat in detail.

“impossible to defeat”

you don’t understand. they don’t want you defeated. they want you enslaved or dead and they’re not playing around. this is tribal warfare and unless you have a place where you can stand and they can’t reach with shock troops or drones or chemical weapons then your chances are low.

“This is not Armageddon – the end of the world. This is just the end of the political system”

unfortunately the economic system is tied up with the political system and has no ready replacement. and when no local manufacturing exists and .98 of all products come from multiple supply chains each thousands of miles distant, an economic drawdown means not that you do with less but rather that you do without.

“When Rome fell, it split into many pieces”

an excellent case of normalcy bias and projection. in roman times .9 of the population lived in free-standing agricultural entities – in modern times only .1 of the population lives in rural areas at all and none of those regions are free-standing in any way. so what happened after rome will be only slightly like what happens here.

“They BELIEVE what they want to BELIEVE.”

and they’re not the only ones. that happens on all sides.
