NICE TRY JACK

Guest Post by Realestate Pup

Life never follows a straight line. If that were so, a utopia would stay a utopia, and a despotic society would stay a despotic society.
We are instead creatures of cycle and entropy. We long for order yet inevitably decline in chaos.

How does this play into our current situation? Simple: The rise of particularly information technology has shortened the decline into chaos.
If you look at how long it took the Roman empire to fall completely apart, and contrast that with this very young country of the USA, you can see how information technology, and thus the easy dissemination of information both false and true, is hastening our decline into chaos.

Make no mistake, there are always those that profit from the chaos. Some have good intentions, and some have bad.

The internet and all things associated with it, has people on one side of the world, with almost zero cultural similarities, able to share information in the blink of an eye.

The “Far East” remained shrouded in mystery for hundreds of years, as did the “Dark Continent” of Africa. Now these places are nothing more than a place on Google Maps. With street views even.

When you control the narrative, you control the populace. It’s that simple. There is no myth here. There is no mystery.

Are people who live in remote villages in Africa controlled by some centralized force of their government? Current situations show this to be false. Instead, we have warlords who hold territories and control their citizens with violence and famine.

Here, we have a large, centralized government that holds its citizens captive via technology. There are really no guns needed, although they will be brought out on a local level if the need arises. So far.

The government, and its actors, can manipulate a majority of the citizens via all technological platforms at its disposal. Local news, national news, print, snap chat, instagram, facebook. Search engines are directed. Things they don’t want told, are not told.

Why? Again, no myth here. It comes down to basically one thing: Money. They want to control it, have more of it, and in turn hold power. Without money, you cannot eat, put a roof over your head, provide for your children. 200 years ago a person could live without electricity and indoor plumbing, a car. They could grow their own food, and many rural communities were farming enclaves. People shopped locally, ate locally. The dependency on the government’s currency was far less. Communities were tight knit as you needed your neighbors to barter with and survive.

The rise of government dependency is all encompassing. If you are not on SNAP or Section 8, it doesn’t matter. You still need to pay your taxes or someone will come with guns and put you in jail. You never really own your home even if the mortgage is paid, as they local tax authority can take your house and land if you don’t pay. They can shut off your water if you don’t pay.

Money is the end game, and the more you have, the more control you have over the populace. Of course, if you are the ones printing the money, all the better.

But all of this leads in the end, to chaos. The current system cannot survive, and so crumbles and a period of anarchy is in place until the longing for order takes hold and a new system takes its place.

All of this talk about myths is nothing but a distraction. A way to sound like you sort of believe the other side, but not really because in the end, it’s a myth. Once you tag something with the word “myth” you take away any credence it might have. Just like labeling someone “crazy” completely discredits anything that person says.

Nice try Jack. I’m not buying it.

It’s time for the people to wake up and realize they have been punked. There is no pandemic, it’s all a con by “government” gangsters for power and control. Anyone believe the “official” government 9/11 story? The government gangsters will keep shitting on the people unless we the people get our shit together and push back in a meaningful way, and not by being a keyboard warrior.

1. Twitter is the ultimate echo chamber
2. The “Promoted Tweets” are a sign of the end.
3. The new feature to limit who and/or how many people can reply to one’s tweets is more evidence of #1.

Twitter is a haven for twitting (v. to taunt or ridicule, esp. in an unkind or malicious way), by twits (n. foolishly annoying persons), androids (n. human-like robots) and yahoos (n. brutish, subhuman creatures).

It is designed to encourage short bursts of emotional, juvenile ranting, rather than the critical thinking and rational argument formerly expected from mature individuals. Even so-called “world leaders” have chosen to play at this level.

For the propagandist, smearing someone as a “conspiracy theorist” or “science denier” is much easier and more effective than actually presenting and debating the evidence, whatever the subject.

I personally don’t care what Jack Dorsey thinks. I’m fact, I don’t care what most people think because I don’t think most people do a lot of thinking.

I visit this site because the articles are interesting and many of the comments encourage me to think. I have learned just as much from the comments as the articles to be accurate.

The tooth fairy is a myth. TPTB (thanks to The farmer for telling me what that means) is not a myth.

Unverified clever writing has always been a problem. People in general are very poor at fact checking. The Internet is a catalyst for the promotion of this. A bad rumor can have very destructive capability

So a guy named Charles Eisenstein writes an article named “The Coronation” and later responds to a critique of that article by writing another piece entitled “The Conspiracy Myth” which was, in turn, retweeted by the founder of Twitter.

In reading both articles, it appeared the author defined the allegorical donut by its hole in
the center.

Yet, Real Estate Pup, in response, has pointed out how historical and current progressions actually transcend semantics. After all, what is a donut if not sugar, flour, water, leavening, oil and artificial flavors? And, in the end, donuts are not made by their holes, are they?

I thought Eisenstein’s title of “The Coronation” was particularly interesting. given that Corona means “crown”.

The title also serves as a portmanteau of Corona Nation.

From the article:

Do we double down on protecting the separate self, or do we accept the invitation into a world where all of us are in this together? It isn’t just in medicine we encounter this question: it visits us politically, economically, and in our personal lives as well. Take for example the issue of hoarding, which embodies the idea, “There won’t be enough for everyone, so I am going to make sure there is enough for me.” Another response might be, “Some don’t have enough, so I will share what I have with them.” Are we to be survivalists or helpers? What is life for?

Why, that almost sounds like a plan, ya know?

Will our leaders be so generous, I wonder? Have they throughout history?

Definition of coronation

: the act or occasion of crowning also: accession to the highest office
