An individual needs a permit. A mob does not need a permit. Mobs do not operate under the color of administrative law. They have their own law.

Anyone who wants to know where the ‘deplorables’ stand with the politicians or media shouldn’t have to search very far. Just look at the difference in the response between Seattle CHAZ, and Ruby Ridge, Waco, and Malheur Preserve, or the description of legal protesters in Lansing, MI, compared to the building-burners in Minneapolis, LA, NYC, etc.
The police are the ones enforcing the permit rules against the lemonade stand, then they wonder why the right is not defending them from de-funding.
