What a circus that show has been. A well oiled, propaganda machine for sure. Once you dig into the facts, the shooting was questionable at worst. As a taser is regarded according to Georgia law as a deadly weapon and in light of the other facts, there really isn’t much to criticize in regards to the actions of the officers on scene. In spite of what the media and white apologists would have one believe.
Is is a deadly weapon in the hands of police?
When already armed, what purpose does a different deadly weapon serve?
Do police get charged with unnecessary/unreasonable use of deadly force when they use tasers on unarmed arrestees?
Are they considered deadly when police use them, or just if you or I use them?

Yes, quite a hard distinction to make. However, a civilian defending himself are held to the highest standard, and if he screws up the police are more than happy to cuff and stuff. Meanwhile cops are allowed to assume the worst and ask questions later. Until cops quit enforcing that double standard i don’t have much sympathy.
