At least TBP doesn’t have to bow to Google or Amazon or Youtube or Twitter or the other ten ad companies that have banned TBP. It’s a badge of honor to be banned by these pricks. We don’t rely on them for any revenue. It’s now mostly donations from readers who value free speech and the truth. It seems PayPal de-platformed ZH, so I guess they’ll eventually de-platform TBP. We’ll just switch to another donation platform. We are at war, whether you like it or not.
Here’s what’s going on.
We can do what the Federalist did, and pull the entire comment section to stay alive, or we can implement a filter to comments which avoids triggering a limited number of keywords that started this whole fiasco (one can figure out the context there) and get reinstated. At the same time, there are legislative developments in the pipeline which we reported on earlier, which may or may not come to pass. We are not holding our breath.
We are going with option 2 because we would like to preserve the comments, and the website. We are doing everything we can to maintain an open forum. That said, now that we know which way the winds are blowing, we are urgently working on a premium version of the site which will be independent of outside forces, and ad free. Incidentally many of the comments that got us here, were the result of targeted provocation by people who don’t have this site’s best interest at heart.
One other thing: we have also been deplatformed by PayPal, which is why the donation section is different now.
In summary, there is a full blown assault against this website and even if we go premium it is unclear what will happen if all funding lines are cut off. We’ll cross that bridge if and when we get there.
Bottom line: we are just asking for some patience.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. I am genuinely curious as to why there is no one, and it does seem to be no one, has developed a sane alternative to FB at the very least.
I am no coder or developer, but would do whatever it takes to assist someone in that endeavor.

How about figuring a way to get together and build a site/one obviously safe from attacks as possible ect.
I as a builder of homes(mostly re modeler and a shade tree mechanic) have no idea how to do this but would be willing to work with others and help finance a start to something you suggest.
So,any out there in these posts have the know how to get the mechanics of something like this going/costs including monetary and work hours/costs to maintain ect. as I have zero idea what goes into this.

The problem with any alternative sites to FB, Twitter, Instagram is that since the majority sites allow a fair (although not comprehensive) amount of free speech, those who feel compelled to switch to the new, True free speech platform are almost by definition outside the pale of polite society. Thus Gab.ai quickly becomes known – fairly or unfairly – as the “nazi site” and is unable to reach critical mass. Bitchute seems to have a better chance of surviving because YouTube removes videos not solely because of ideology but also because they’re deemed too violent, and people want access to those videos.
To get big, ala farce book et al, you need lots of tech types. And tech types are 99% lefty assholes that are unlikely to work for a conservative Farcebook.
Even if they would, it wouldn’t prevent your first and best point.

facebook is not an independent business. it’s a tribal member, protected by tribal lawyers and tribal esthers. competing facebook-like entities would be and are subject to legal and social attacks that appear random but are tribally coordinated.
Because even if you did they would come after your ISP, the code you used to build the site, the components you use to run it, or any other number of dirty tricks because they cannot stand up to the facts.

It happened to me today.
They’ve gone that route in the past. There was a commenter named Francis Sawyer who was not a fan of the ((())))’s and he got disappeared. Zerohedge had great comments a few years ago, then it was overrun with bots and thread jackers looking to spam and get the site banned. Looks like that’s happening again.
I was banned by ZH a couple of months ago. I was probably reported on by someone with an ax to grind. No big deal. I sent the Tyler’s an email basically telling them that karma is a bitch after Google banned ads on their site. I went by Pollygotacracker. I never used profanity, I did comment on Jews, but always intelligently with lots of data and links to back up my position. Maybe it was a good thing. I spent too much time on ZH anyway.
