It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. Don’t even know what to say but I want to say something… I appreciated his insight, I read articles I may not have found without his link and found new sources of knowledge because of him. He will be missed, a lot.

Please don’t die, Admin. Nor you, HSF. I appreciate what both of you write a great deal.

May you rest in Heavenly Peace, Remus, oh giving friend.
So many of us now carry around in our mind, spirit and bodies, parts of the wisdom that Remus so freely gave.
Every Tuesday for years, TBP was relegated to second read, after “Yer Ol’ Woodpile Report.”

I wish Remus well in this life or if he has moved on the next chapter in life at least he is back with his wife who died a few months ago.

I agree with dirty Steve that his art intro’s were a education along with the rest of his site.

I’m really going to miss reading his discussions, the articles he linked to, and seeing the old ads and artwork.

Oh I missed that. Many couples die within 2 years or less of each other.

It is good to remember the man who touched so many lives with his humor and sharp intellect. This is truly strange times we live in, where one can know someone so intimately, yet never have the face to face, like so many I’ve met here.

Mr. Remus manifests his humility in his many words and obvious following, yet never making himself the focus of his newsletters. It was a sign of his character, but also a sadness in not being able to know of his departure, to offer tribute and appreciation of his well spent life. I am thankful for this opportunity to recognize the mans passing here on the TBP and share with others his hidden greatness.

He lived his life knowing the preciousness of it and I am all the better for having this life lesson passed on to me.

Love to all,

This was certainly sad news. I’ve been reading Remus for several years now, and always looked forward to the next post. I’m sad today, but blessed to have “known” this man. He’ll be sorely missed.
