Why not wear a Halloween mask? Since the “type” of mask has not been codified, a Halloween mask, preferably one with a “message” might get (some) people to think. It IS a mask…
I have a “Guy Fawkes” mask as used in the movie “V For Vendetta” that has been used to gain access to stores. The bewildered looks of the official store “mask screener” speaks volumes.
Try it…you’ll like it.
The alternative is to wear a mask to gain access, then take it off once inside of the store. You can always claim that you are “light-headed” because of the mask. I don’t think that a store employee would push the issue further.

My mask is made out of hardware cloth, aka screen. It is the same one that kids who play with airsoft guns use. You can see right through it, but it’s fabric and covers my face.

At HD today I saw a young man with a plague doctor mask. The one with the long beak and eye holes.
Wife and I went to visit stepson in Oregon over the weekend. Did some hiking in Washington state. Even in the middle of nowhere, on the side of a damn mountain, 50% of the hikers were wearing masks. WTF…
Why doesn’t the state mandate that people only use chicken wire for the screens in their houses? It would have the same effect on stopping flies and mosquitoes from entering as do the face masks people are wearing at stopping the virus.

In this way the threshold for “herd” immunity would be surpassed more quickly, thereby shielding the less robust portions of the population, and the virus would run out of hosts and fade more quickly. Let nature take its course.

As of the last check on the PA WuFlu website. 7/24 1 death, 7/23 2 deaths, 7/22 3 deaths…in the entire state! I’m sure they will be cooking the books again to inflate those numbers but they can’t justify the lockdown of an entire state over a handful of deaths.
As cases go up and deaths go down it shows just how much this virus is a non-issue. Had they not unleashed it in the PA nursing homes our total deaths would be much lower.
