U.S.—WNBA players recently walked off the court during the national anthem. In response, the nation announced that it would continue its 24-year-long boycott of the WNBA.
Sports fans, casual viewers, and basically everybody said they would continue not watching the WNBA or caring about anything they did.
“Listen, if they’re going to disrespect the anthem, we’re going to continue not watching the WNBA. Frankly, they could all dress up in star-spangled outfits and sing ‘God Bless America,’ and we’d still keep the boycott going,” said one man in Iowa. “I’d want to support them morally at that point, but I don’t know if I could bring myself to watch still. I mean, I can just go to the park and watch some high schoolers shoot hoops for a better experience.”
WNBA players vowed to participate in more protests in an attempt to become relevant. “Whatever social movement comes along, we’re there, as long as it gets us in the news for a fleeting moment,” said one player. “Please acknowledge our existence. Please?”

This is the first BB article I have ever seen that is actually an accurate description of reality with no sarc nor irony. The nation has actually been boycotting the WNBA for 24 years.

The term boycott generally involves an active decision-making process for a specific purpose. I don’t consider myself as “boycotting” the NBA – I just have no interest. That is the case likely for 99% of the people who don’t watch, while the others don’t appreciate all the lesbians and transgenders and the political BS. They probably don’t appreciate that the handful of straight white women playing are under constant sexual harassment etc.
Who cares??

An overwhelming majority of all the offerings across the board on television (all types from broadcast to cable) are unwatchable as they are not entertaining nor are they informative.
Something happened about 20 years ago and the central planners in the entertainment industry decided that the political drivel and dreck that they thought we needed to see would suffice for future offerings.
They were wrong.
One positive outcome from all the bullshit is that thinking people who used to relax by watching televised sports-sort of like a guilty pleasure-many have already realized what a waste of time it is. Go do something productive-clean the garage, go camping with the family, read a book, call your parents. Or, simply do what we did before televised sports became a thing in the 1950s. Fire all the overpaid/stupid ass athletes so they can try to earn a living like the rest of us. Take your social justice messages and shove them up your ass.
Best tactic to respond to this WNBA nonsense, and indeed all jungleball, is for any thinking adult to boycott the stupidity by not watching or spending one fucking cent on the playas, games, and league and to also not support financially any company that advertises with these hateful ingrate Africans.
Ship the WNBA, lock stock and barrel, to the Congo, Nigeria or Zimbabwe where it will feel racially at home and non-oppressed.
but first they will have to stop by the FGM tent before they will be allowed to play.
