If media reports are correct, the president is receiving 2 experimental drugs: the antibody cocktail, Regeneron, and the antiviral, Remdesivir.
Aside from their individual adverse effects…
THESE DRUGS HAVE NEVER BEEN STUDIED FOR THEIR COMBINED EFFECTS ON A PATIENT. AND NOW THAT PATIENT…THE FIRST PATIENT RECEIVING THEM…IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
You know the adverse effects of Remdesivir, Scott. They’re more than worrisome. Acute kidney injury, for example. And this drug has only emergency authorization, and it’s explicitly for patients who are SEVERE COVID cases. Trump is not a severe case. What’s going on? Why are the Walter Reed doctors piling on?
The other drug, Regeneron, the antibody cocktail, synthesized versions of mouse and human antibodies, is still in clinical trials. There is NO authorization for its use.
In past trials of antibody drugs, highly increased infection has occurred. Very dangerous.
And pray these doctors don’t suddenly opt for a ventilator. They could do that, if Trump’s condition worsens, because of the effects of the DRUGS. They will call those effects “serious COVID decline.”
In a large New York study of COVID patients in Trump’s age group, 97 percent of the patients receiving ventilator treatment died. Ventilator treatment, as you know, involves heavy and prolonged sedation.
The president is in a very dangerous situation.
Every damn doctor who has any ethics at all should be screaming bloody murder right now. This is not supposition. Would you prescribe a patient not one, but two highly experimental drugs, each of which has very damaging effects? Would you prescribe them TOGETHER? EVER? Especially when the patient is not close to being seriously ill? Especially when the drugs’ combined effects have never been studied?
WHY ARE THE WALTER REED DOCTORS TREATING TRUMP AS IF HE WERE IN DESPERATE STRAITS?
They’re going after the president as if he’s hanging on to life by a thread and they have to throw everything they’ve got at him.
Who is watching over the president’s life? Are these doctors trying to kill him?

Studies have already indicated that Ivermectin (at a fraction of the cost) is far superior to Remdesivir (over $300 per pill) backed by the NIH, not to mention that many of the people at NIH recommending Remdesivir as the treatment of choice have ties to the maker of Remdesivir. Part of the discussion against universal voting by mail is not knowing who handles the mail and who may have reasons — personal, political, etc. — to jimmy the whole thing. There may also be actors within that system who shouldn’t be there … but are there to pursue an agenda — theirs or a more widely held one.
The same here … no one knows every person on staff at Walter Reed — nor the entire chain of custody of the medications and all of the supplies required for their delivery — nor of every system within the physical structure of the hospital (think oxygen and other gases, etc.) … any or all of which may be compromised with little or no trace afterward.
President Trump’s existence has been threatened just lately by some ‘woman’ from Canada who mailed sarin to him and to several LEOs in Texas.
Too many cooks … too many folks of unknown agenda … and, scariest of all — drugs of no known effects when used in combination.

When I read Remdesivir I was quite taken back as I would have thought Trump would insist on his HCQ. I do worry for his safety as this is a golden opportunity for his powerful enemies to either take him out or deem him unfit to carry out his duties. A very dangerous time for the world. It is looking more and more like the fate of the western world is in his hands. Without him the United States will fall to socialisim
Remdesivir showed NO efficacy -NONE- in reducing mortality in the Random Controlled Trials that Fauci claims are vital (even though he personally was mentioning Remdesivir BY NAME back in February well before any RCT was completed).
I don’t know what is really going on but this whole thing stinks to high heaven…I trust no one and believe nothing at this point.

Trump’s response to his Covid-19 situation reveals that Trump truly trusts in the medical profession, as I believe is typical of most Boomers. Being a Gen Xer, I most certainly don’t (as well as being a professional who knows just how much professionals don’t know, even in their areas of specialty). How many TBPers believe as Trump does?
I avoided 2 surgeries because I did not listen to surgeons.
Trump doesn’t believe, he wants others to believe.
Personally, I would have been more confident if they had used the HCQ cocktail.

I have to question why all this information is being made public about his health and why these treatments are so public… doesn’t the president have a royal crapper that he has to use so that other ppl cant analyze his crap to make sure he is in good health> if so, why this push to tell all the world what drugs they are pumping into him<? unless to promote big pharma???
